Here you will find a completely renovated holiday home with pool and first-class ambience in the immediate vicinity of the lake. In a quiet location, you benefit from a picturesque view of the lake and the surrounding mountain ridges. There is private access to the lake from the property and you are also within walking distance of various restaurants and a bakery.
The holiday home with garden and pool was built in 2002 within the walls of a former country house. You are welcomed into a living space of 170 mÂČ spread over three floors. Almost every window offers you a marvellous view of the lake. When you arrive, there are three car parking spaces available directly at the house, from where you can access the staircase directly. On the ground floor there is a room of approx. 40 mÂČ with an extensively equipped integrated kitchen, spacious dining area and a very comfortable living area with fireplace and large flat-screen TV. There is also a double shower room on this level. The staircase leads to the first floor with balcony, two double bedrooms with TV and a shower room with bath and lake view. The first bedroom is designed as a walk-through room. The third bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located on the first floor. While you sleep in a double bed measuring 160 cm x 200 cm in the first and second bedrooms, the third bedroom on the first floor is very spacious at 40 mÂČ. The high sloping wooden ceiling with visible thick round wooden beams and the fireplace emphasise the romantic ambience. Look forward to the 200 cm x 200 cm double bed, the sitting area with sofa bed and 55'' TV and the four-door wardrobe. This means that up to four people can sleep in this room if required. All bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and air conditioning. The three bathrooms with lake views are always designed as daylight bathrooms with WC. While the ground floor also has a washing machine and tumble dryer, the bathroom on the first floor has a WC, bidet and a large shower, while the bathroom on the second floor has a large oval bathtub, which is also ideal for showering, as well as a bidet. The centrepiece of the house is the living, dining and cooking area, where up to six people can relax on the white leather suite. A stereo system with CD player and radio as well as a DVD player provide entertainment. Past the adjacent dining table, which invites up to 12 people to share a meal, you reach the open corner kitchen area made of aluminium. The fridge-freezer combination, a second fridge, the large gas hob with oven and extractor bonnet, the dishwasher, the fully automatic coffee machine and various small electrical appliances are available for your convenient and extensive self-catering.
In front of the ground floor, which has granite flooring and two large door/window units to the garden, there is a large natural stone terrace measuring 13.5 x 3.5 metres. On the first and first floors, a large balcony offers sweeping views of the bay of Piona. In the garden you have Mediterranean plants and a large lawn area with pool (9 m x 4.5 m and Roman steps). There is also a low-rise building adjacent to the pool, separate from the house. The annexe has two 160 cm x 200 cm double beds, a wardrobe, flat-screen TV and a washbasin as well as seating and insect screens.
Due to the seclusion of the house and the quiet location almost directly on the lake (only approx. 50 m) you have a high recreational value. Dogs are allowed on the enclosed property and are in good hands. You have direct access to the lake and virtually a private beach. While you are on the beach, even a small child can walk up to the house without danger, as there is no car traffic.
There are four restaurants within walking distance, which is definitely an advantage after an exuberant meal with wine or beer. There is a tennis court 300 metres away for sporting activities. The house is ideal for relaxing holidays, surfing and SUP are possible due to the proximity to the lake.
