These five cosy holiday flats are located in the monastery town of Walkenried, in the middle of a charming landscape that offers peace and relaxation to all those seeking recreation through unspoilt nature. The proximity to the forest, separated only by the "Wieda" torrent, guarantees you the peace and quiet you need at any time of year to make your holiday a complete success. Although quiet, the property is still centrally located so that you can reach restaurants, shops, doctors' surgeries and therapy centres in just a few minutes. Lovingly furnished holiday flat with balcony in the log cabin/b> There are three guest houses on the estate with a total of five holiday flats. The holiday flats with the object numbers 225143 and 225144 are located in a rustic log cabin, the flats with the object numbers 225146 and 225147 are located in the main house and then there is a small bungalow with the object number 225145. The accommodations can be rented individually, but also all together for a holiday with a large family or friends. The 63 mÂČ of this cosy holiday flat on the upper floor of the log cabin comprises a living/dining room with adjoining kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. In this comfortable and lovingly furnished flat, two to four people have enough space for a relaxing holiday. The flat has a well-equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is a double bed in the first bedroom and two single beds in the second. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower cubicle, a WC and a washbasin with vanity unit and illuminated mirror. A hairdryer is also available. A digital TV, a DVD player and a music system (UBS) complete the equipment and provide entertainment. You can safely store your valuables in the flat safe.
This flat has a 16 square metre balcony, which is furnished with a settee and a deckchair. Here you can relax in a private atmosphere. Access to the balcony is through the living room. There is also a small bench in front of the entrance area to this flat, from where you have a lovely relaxing view of the green garden. The extremely lovingly and individually furnished guest houses are surrounded by a large, well-tended garden with sunbathing areas and seating groups, which invite you to linger directly at the foot of the "Kupferberg" - open to the south. The garden chairs and deckchairs in the estate's 2500mÂČ communal garden offer plenty of space for anyone looking for a sunny spot on the grass or to take advantage of the shade under the trees. Special mention should be made of the barbecue hut, a Finnish kota, which is available to all guests at any time for a cosy and sociable get-together.

Walkenried has restaurants, doctors' and physiotherapists' surgeries, a pharmacy, supermarket, post office and banks, offering everything you need on holiday and is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the Brocken, KyffhÀuser, Stolberg, Wernigerode and other places of interest in the Upper Harz. Whether you are looking for relaxation in the bird, nature and landscape conservation areas or want to experience variety and fun at the numerous cultural events - this is the place for you.
