Bienvenue au Lake Ridge Cottage dans le magnifique South Haven, MI!

Chalet lumineux et décontracté en face du lac Michigan. Près des plages de North Shore Drive, du Kal Haven Trail et du centre-ville de South Haven. Quartier calme et léger, très piétonnier. Très agréable pour une promenade au coucher du soleil et une course matinale avec vue sur le lac. Ou profitez du coucher de soleil sur le porche avant ou sur le pont arrière et écoutez les vagues du lac Michigan. La cour arrière clôturée est idéale pour les enfants ou les chiens. Les 4 chambres sont à l'étage. 2 bains, un vers le haut.
Location à la semaine (du vendredi au vendredi) de juin à la fête du Travail
Séjour minimum de 3 nuits (par ordonnance locale) le reste de l'année.

Perfect home for our family

There were 7 people total in our group (5 adults and 15 month old twins) plus 2 dogs. The house was perfect for our group. The house was immaculately clean and had everything our family needed to be comfortable during our stay-the owners thought of everything! The added bonus was the fenced in backyard-made traveling with our pups and twin grandsons super easy. The house is a quick drive to everything-beach, shops, restaurants and church. We will definitely be back!

Great family getaway!

We spent the week with my parents and our grown children along with our grandson - everything was perfect. The house was surprisingly "big" in that there were many different gathering locations so we never felt like we were on top of each other. Leslie was very responsive and the house was well equipped. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Perfect Labor Day! Aug 31 2023 thru Sept 4 2023

Wonderful 40th celebration of my son and daughter-in-law's birthday. Fantastic beach accessories and towels too! Games galore for tbe kids! One of the beautiful amenities is we had our 2 dogs there. They were perfect house guests! The kitchen was stocked to the gills! Beautiful back yard patio set where we ate all our meals! Love the quaint little town of South Haven. We'll be coming back for sure!

Wonderful Property

The house was super clean the manager was very responsive to our needs. She was quick to respond when we had a kitchen disposal issue. We loved the area of South Haven where the home was located. The house was on a private street not too far from the lake. The front porch was so nice to sit on in the evenings to have dinner outside or sit on the porch swing and talk with friends. We would definitely rent this house again

Perfect for the family 👪 ❤

House is as described and perfect for a family with kids!! Great sized rooms and loft room with multiple beds was a hit!! House was stocked with essentials to get you started. Water pressure is great with hot water. Little downtown South Haven is 5 min drive, great boutique shops and food options. If you need a grocery store there is Meijer and Walmart about 10 mins from house. Really enjoyed the drive there with all the fall colors in trees. So worth the 3 hour drive to enjoy sight seeing in cool weather. Awesome beaches to visit and find rocks. Cannot say enough about this weekend getaway with family 💕!

First Family Vacay!!!

We arrived to the property on a Thursday and immediately loved the look of the property! It was very charming and looked like home away from home. We stayed with three kiddos (2, 3 &4), two dogs, my husband, sister in law, mother in law and her husband. It was enough room for everyone and Leslie supplied EVERYTHING you could think of. Toys for the kids, games for the adults, corn hole, a bat and ball, bikes. LITERALLY EVERYTHING you’d need to have a good family time. It was a bit chilly, so we didn’t get to enjoy the full lake experience. That said, we did visit the lake which was an 8minute drive. Meijer was about 5 minutes away, and we were even able to fish. We would definitely come back again! We had a little hiccup with check in, but Leslie was responsive and helped us immensely! Again, we would definitely go again!

Great Home inside and out!

This rental home is wonderful. So perfect that our family came for a second time! All the comforts of home. The location is great--a quick trip to town, beach, grocery shopping, restaurants. But felt no need to leave...the comfortable house, porches with tables and chairs -- our lab enjoyed the fenced in yard too! We used the weber grill and gas grill for cooking dinners and enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Thank you for hosting, we'll be back again!

Great Family Vacation

The house was a great locale for a long overdue family vacation. The seven adults and two dogs had a wonderful week. Our host, Leslie, was very responsive to any requests or questions. We would stay there again.

South Haven Lake House Gem off the water

Although this beautiful lake house is not right on the water, our family made wonderful memories celebrating a milestone birthday and the 4th of July! The lake house has all the amenities needed for indoor and outdoor entertainment! Our group was 6 adults and two grandkids under 3.

Cute lake town stay!

Very cute property! It’s about a 7 min drive to ‘downtown’ so great location. The house has everything you could need - bikes, 2 great outdoor spaces (wonderful porch and deck/backyard), fire pit, charcoal grill and well stocked house (games, amenities, etc). My son didn’t want to leave. We’d recommend and may look to book again in the future!

Very nice home!!

The house is very comfortable! Plenty of space for our group. We had to drive to get to a good beach access, but we knew that before coming and that is ok with us. You can’t see the beach from the house, so come with appropriate expectations. With that said they provide a lot of amenities that made this house perfect for us. A large garage to park in or store beach stuff. Bikes to ride into town or to the beach.

Wonderful Vacation Experience!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The owners have thought of everything and the amenities were perfect. Our favorite part, was that the owners generously allowed us to bring our dogs with us on vacation. We so enjoyed watching them run around in the beautiful fully fenced in backyard! We will be returning next summer!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and in a fantastic neighborhood. Leslie was extremely helpful and accommodating from our initial booking to our last day on vacation. All of the furniture and decor throughout the house give it a unique "beach house" feel. They have a very modern and beautiful kitchen with great appliances. The master bedroom and closet is spacious and the guest rooms/closets are a perfectly sized. Quality beds in all of the rooms. We really enjoyed the outside seating areas and fenced in backyard. Leslie has enough outdoor entertainment equipment to keep any sized group busy for a week. The drive into town was 5 minutes no matter which way we went and there are enough public beaches and free parking along the lake that we never had any issues finding a nice spot to relax. We would not hesitate to re-book a stay here if we come back to South Haven. Thank you, Leslie.

Family Time

The house worked really well in terms of accommodating us, our 2 daughters and their families. Leslie was wonderful in terms of communicating and quick responses to questions. It would have been nice to be a bit closer to the beach, but everything else was great!

Beautiful home--perfect for girls' weekend

House was beautiful--beautifully maintained, beautifully decorated, and clean. Lovely linens, towels, sheets. Well-stocked kitchen--pots, pans, dishes for anything you would want to do. Front porch was our favorite spot for cocktails and girl time. Furniture was great -- comfy and plenty of neat niches for chatting or reading a book. Only criticism is that the "lake view" and "across the street from Lake Michigan" was a bit of an oversell or overstatement. There is one small space on the front porch where you can see lake Michigan through a stand of trees and the lake is at least a 1/4 mile away and not at all accessible without a hike or drive from the house. That said, we would absolutely come back again!

Hi, my name is Leslie. I'm a wife, mom, grandmother and interior designer. I've used my experience working with clients to design a vacation home that is comfortable and relaxed. My hope is that you will feel at home while you are here, only better because you're on vacation!
My husband Brent and I have been vacationing in and around South Haven for years. Family trips with our now-grown boys, girls' weekends, couples trips and now with daughters-in-law and grandbabies. We truly love the area and are happy to share our home with other families looking for an escape to relax, recharge and explore. We have already started making our family memories here. We hope you will too.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We had been looking all over southwest Michigan for the right house that was big enough for our family and a few friends. We have always loved South Haven and kept coming back to see what was available. This house was perfect! Nice quiet neighborhood, plenty of space (but not too much) inside and out and move in ready. Our realtor found it for us, there wasn't even a sign in the yard. Must have been meant to be!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

It was love at first sight for me when I saw the front porch and adorable dormers. I also loved that the house sits between two homes on double lots so we're not as squished as some of the homes in town. The layout of the house is such that you don't feel on top of each other, even with a full house. The outdoor areas really help expand the space. You'll find me in the warmer months enjoying the front porch swing, a Mother's Day gift from our boys and their wives. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine. The back deck is more private and a great place for dinner and beyond. The umbrella adds shade during the day.
We have a variety of games, for both inside and outside. For outside we have a badminton net and rackets, Yard Darts, Bocce, SpikeBall, bags, Giant Jenga and more. Inside there is a variety of board and card games.
