Dog-Friendly Beach Cottages within a mile of town and 7 Lake Michigan beaches

We are a dog-loving, beach-going, adventurous family who loves the great outdoors and traveling with our golden retriever Aspen. We feel that dogs are family, and should be included whenever possible, especially on vacation!

Oak Park Cottages are conveniently located within a mile of seven beautiful Lake Michigan beaches and a vibrant downtown. We are in the heart of everything that South Haven has to offer, walking distance to everything. Just steps to Oak Beach, and a few blocks to area parks like Stanley Johnston Park where several festivals are held throughout the year and the Maritime Museum, home to the Friends Good Will and other sailing experiences. South Haven is known for its beautiful beaches, iconic lighthouse and gorgeous sunsets. We enjoy the restaurants, shopping, breweries, wineries, orchards and farm markets. We love being outdoors, and our area boasts over 48 miles of hiking and biking trails, 91 miles of kayaking and canoeing trails, 770 acres of nature preserves and 11 miles of horseback riding trails. There is so much to see and do - all year round.

Our cottages are dog-welcoming with dog beds with sheets changed after every stay, dog bowls, bags and cleaning supplies if needed, and we never charge additional fees or have restrictions. We include lots of dog-friendly recommendations for the area, and have specialty cleaners, dog walkers, groomers and even a massage therapist who does dog massage as part of our team.
