This property is in a great location. Downtown is a 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk, the bagel shop on the corner is amazing.The property is in great shape and it was perfect for 3 couples. The pool and hot tub are beautiful.The host has everything you need to enjoy your stay and provides all the information you need.Hope to stay again!

Wonderful home!

This home was as described with a lovely pool and spa, plenty of outdoor seating and very comfortable. Perfect location and close to everything! Extremely quiet and safe neighborhood. A few minor mishaps were taken care of by the owner as soon as they were notified. This VRBO made our stay memorable and we hope to be able to return soon!

New Years at Casa Colores

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Colores! The house had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect location, pool and hot tub along with outdoor seating for everyone. The 3 bedrooms with connecting baths is a real bonus…perfect for 3 couples or extended family visits. We loved our stay! Susan was very responsive and welcoming.

Wonderful private getaway

We loved our stay in this spacious, beautiful house. The site pictures do not do it justice. It is very close to downtown Palm Springs which was a bonus for us. We particularly enjoyed the private pool area. A few minor issues with ice maker and the dishwasher but this did not interfere with our enjoyment. Highly recommend.

Great home!

This home fit our group perfectly - we had 2 couples & 1 teen. We loved that each couple had their own bedroom & bathroom & so did the teen. We did have to purchase toilet paper as there was only a total of 2 extra rolls when we arrived for a week’s stay for 5.We spent most of our time in the back around the pool & hottub. It was nice having pool floaties provided. The garage was large and nice to be able to park in.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Susan was very responsive and helpful. She mentioned that we shouldn’t grocery shop until checking out what was food/beverages were left for us, however we did not find much as described, so wished we had done our shopping while waiting to check in.The house was perfect for our needs and the location was great!

Beautiful Family Home - DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE!!!!!

This home is exactly what it was like in the photos. We took our 18 months twins along with my parents and the house was just incredible. There was no issues and the pool and hot tub were for sure the best part of the house for the whole family. It was very close to grocery stores / restaurants and parks for the kids. Thank you Susan, your house was just incredible and we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home, close to town

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Susan's house. The pool/spa was so private and enjoyable. We ate out almost every night and all restaurants were within the 5 minute range from the house. Susan was very easy to work with. She even checked in on us to make such we didn't have any concerns. Susan even had a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. We would highly recommend staying at this house!!

PS I love you

Amazing home, beautiful and comfortable with lovely Spanish meets SoCal décor throughout. Susan was most accessible & communicative host ever. Beautifully appointed inside and out, great pool & spa, and we were able to walk to downtown PS for the fabulous restaurants and shops. Very well stocked kitchen, all areas in fact. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Good to know as well, this is an area of PS that does NOT get the high winds that further north areas do, just a nice breeze for us, while friends in other areas were unable to even use their pools on windy days.

Comfortable, cozy, and clean!

Extremely well appointed home in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to the strip. Welcome bottle of wine and popcorn was a nice touch. Fridge & cupboards full of supplies which allowed for minimal shopping in order to cook a meal. The private pool & spa were lovely and warm. Working with Susan was amazing ~ she accommodated two changes to our booking dates due to COVID and was always understanding. It was great finally meeting you in person. Thank you for everything Susan!!!

Excellent, relaxing getaway for a week

We needed to get away from LA for new scenery given COVID-19. This was a perfect fit. We have two kids (7 and 11) who spend most of the day in the pool while we were able to relax with them. We went in mid-July, so it was extremely hot. Fortunately the pool is well situated, so the sun only shown on it from ~1130am-2pm. Ceiling fans and plenty of lounging areas outside helped a lot as well. Susan was extremely helpful and communicative. The house was perfect size and roomy enough for us. Big kitchen, nice living room for watching movies. We hope to stay at the house again.

Large but horribly outdated and poorly maintained.

Owner is very responsive as we had multiple challenges. She’s great. Pool company didn’t show so the pool and hot tub were a mess. No landscaper showed and yard was trashed from high winds. Peeling paint; old cracked grout; shredded outdoor rugs; broken screens; window glass seals broken and foggy; etc etc. It’s outdated which the photos accurately show but we were very disappointed with the level of quality and lack of care. We’ve traveled to PS for 5 years and cannot return to this property.

Totally pleased with the home.

Everything pictured is just as expected. This is our second year staying here and we hope to return again. It is a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay. We have been impressed with how clean everything is and the bedding and bathroom supplies are perfect. We grilled steaks on the grill and they were perfect. We did have an issue with the TV reception, but Susan helped to get it resolved in the main TV in the living room. We did continue to have problems with the TV reception in the bedrooms. It was not too important to us, so we did not pursue the issue. I'm sure they would have addressed the issue if we had asked. Otherwise, I cannot think of a negative thing to say. We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Beautiful home and a great stay! There are too many remote controls without clear directions for every room and every TV. I think guests move them from one room to another and it causes problems with the TV reception as a whole in the home; This is a minor issue that can be worked out. This was a very Minor Issuje; We loved the house, the location and the owners.

Perfect Palm Springs Getaway

Absolutely! Here's the revised version without dashes:---We had an incredible stay at this Palm Springs home. The house was stunning, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The pool was amazing and quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The location was ideal, just minutes from downtown but still peaceful with fantastic views. Susan was a pleasure to work with, responsive and welcoming throughout the process. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

Clean home, well appointed, had everything we needed. Property manager was very attentive and responsive to questions that came up during the stay. This home is a block away from coffee and a stroll to town.

Pretty Cool

My wife and I stayed a week for 35th anniversary. The house was awesome. Very nicely decorated and lots of extras. The location to restaurants and downtown was great. The hostess was very organized and helpful. it was obvious they are proud of their property. The private pool is very well hidden and the security on the home was top notch. We used the garage and opener. We would definitely return. Thanks Susan

Very comfortable for 5 adults!

2 weeks in May 2024. Spacious, very clean home with large bedrooms. The Santa Fe decor was lovely. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials to make our stay very comfortable. The garage allowed for our 2 rental cars to escape the heat of the day, which was an unexpected bonus. Susan, the homeowner, was very gracious and offered lots of open communication with us throughout our vacation planning, as well as during our visit. The backyard was private and cozy, and the pool was a welcome relief from the searing heat of the sun during the days. Location was well situated, close to all amenities. 5 big stars - would highly recommend!

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, and married my college sweetheart, who is a doctor. We raised three girls, homeschooled them, coached youth soccer, and now spend our time studying languages, cooking meals for friends, trying to stay fit, and volunteering for medical missionary trips whenever possible. We have used VRBO properties many times, ourselves, and we find it a much better way to travel than to stay in hotels. We hope you will enjoy staying in our beautiful new Palm Springs casa.

Casa de Colores (House of Colors) has been lovingly decorated with comfortable and attractive furniture, beautiful art and accessories in the colors of the desert to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Each bedroom has its own outside door, with high quality wooden shutters that completely darken the rooms when fully closed. All linens and towels will be regularly replaced as needed, to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The living room opens onto the front courtyard, with its mountain views, and allows you to 'bring the outdoors in with you.' The game table in the living room nook will lure you to find out who has the best poker face. Full sets of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils and basic supplies will provide you with all the things you'll need to cook as much or as little as you desire. The pool and spa will draw you to spend time in the back yard, but you will also have three other lounging and eating areas in which to spend your time. Whether you are one couple, a large family or 2 or 3 couples vacationing together, you will never lack for comfortable, private places to sit and talk. We want this house to be the best place you've ever vacationed in, and we will continue to try to make it worthy of that label.

When we saw this house we fell in love with the quality of the construction, and the wonderful architectural elements like the round windows in the front entryway and master bath, the foyer tower, the arched entryway and front door, the colored tile floors throughout, and the exquisite wooden beams and cathedral ceiling in the living room. We also really liked that each bedroom has its own bath and exterior door. And many of the attractions of downtown Palm Springs are within a short walk!
