Welcome to Mission Beach, one of San Diego’s most iconic and walkable beach neighborhoods. This vibrant coastal community sits between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay, offering the best of both worlds—surf on the ocean side and calm bay waters just steps away.

You’ll be within walking distance of the Mission Beach Boardwalk, a lively stretch filled with beach cafés, casual dining, ice cream shops, surf rentals, and local bars. Belmont Park, a historic beachfront amusement park with rides, restaurants, and entertainment, is just a short walk away and a favorite for both families and couples.

Mission Beach is known for its relaxed beach-town vibe, beautiful sunsets, and endless outdoor activities. Walk, bike, or rollerblade along the boardwalk, enjoy paddleboarding and kayaking in Mission Bay, or spend the day soaking up the sun at the beach. Everything you need is close by, making it easy to enjoy your stay without relying on a car.

Centrally located, Mission Beach also offers quick access to Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego, Old Town, and Balboa Park, making it an ideal home base for exploring all of San Diego while staying right on the coast.

This home has 2 entrance, one through the front on San Juan
Place street and the other through the alley behind the home.

Look for the address on the back of the building near the brown double garage doors. You may park in the garage marked 805. To the left of the garage doors, you’ll see a brown gate that leads into the property.

Once inside the gate, walk down the short path, and you’ll find a another brown gate that leads up to the side door. Please note: the garage is very narrow. Compact and midsize cars typically fit best. Extra low cars might have a hard time entering the garage. For larger vehicle that may not fit in the garage, there is free public parking in front of the home on San Juan Pl. street. The home is the 2nd home to left when entering from San Juan Pl. street.

The Beach House is a two bedroom, 1 bathroom beach cottage in the laid back San Diego neighborhood of Mission Beach. It is located on the bay side of Mission Boulevard, a few houses from the bay and one block from beach.

- Garage parking: guests will have access to one parking space in garage at the back of the property. Please note that the garage space is tight and can not accommodate large vehicles.
- Beach gear: chairs, umbrella, sand toys, beach towels
- Laundry: there is a free washer and dryer (with detergent and fabric softener) in the back attached to the garage. The machines are shared with our upstairs vacation rental unit.
- WiFi: 1 gigabit fiber internet with excellent coverage throughout the unit for high-speed video conferencing and distance learning.

There are convenient bus stops just steps from the home, making it easy to explore the area. Street-legal golf cart rentals are also available nearby—perfect for quick and fun trips around the neighborhood. You’ll also find many restaurants, shops, and local attractions within walking distance, giving you plenty to enjoy without needing a car. Mission Beach is a popular tourist destination, making it very Uber & Lyft friendly.

To ensure the comfort, safety, and cleanliness of our home for all guests, pets are not allowed at this property.

Policy Details
No pets of any kind are permitted on the premises, including inside the home, on balconies, patios, or in any outdoor areas belonging to the property.
This policy applies to all guests and visitors, regardless of the length of stay.

- Bringing an unauthorized pet into the home is a violation of the rental agreement.

Fees & Consequences

If a pet is brought onto the property without prior written approval: A minimum $250 deep-cleaning fee will be charged. Additional charges may apply for any damage, extra cleaning, or pest treatment. Guest may be subject to immediate eviction without refund.

Service Animals
We comply with applicable laws regarding service animals. If you are traveling with a service animal, please notify us prior to arrival so we may prepare accordingly.

No-Smoking Policy
Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the home. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vaping devices, and e-cigarettes. Smoking is also prohibited on balconies, patios, or near open windows or doors where smoke can enter the home.

Fees & Consequences
Evidence of smoking will result in a minimum $200 smoke remediation and deodorizing fee. Additional charges may apply for damage, burns, or cleanup of smoking-related debris. Violations may lead to immediate eviction without refund.
