Good location. Parking on driveway is extremely useful. We drove,but took rideshare during the day. If it's your first time visiting,don't bother with public transport and driving. This place is a 15 min ride away from all major attractions. There is a wholefoods nearby with ample parking. We didn't cook since there are many food options. This place is charming and cleaning. Lots charming decoration pieces.

What a fantastic place to stay! This charming, beautifully maintained home is in the perfect location, with public transportation and so many great restaurants just a short walk away.We are especially grateful to our incredible host. Communication was lightning-fast, every detail was thoughtfully handled, and their kindness and hospitality truly went above and beyond. no dishwasher. it says so in the listing, but i sure didn't notice it :)there is a Muni station about 200 feet down the street, very convenient for going into downtown.across the street is an elementary school and next door is a day care. not bad for noise, but if you try to take a nap about 2pm the cars picking up kids will keep you from sleeping.shops and restaurants are close by (220 feet down the street). there is a safeway for groceries about 1/2 mile away.

Perfectly located for a stay in the city. The neighborhood is lovely and steps away from great restaurants, shopping, and gourmet food stores. The train to downtown, beach, zoo is around the corner so you get the best of both worlds, a safe vibrant neighborhood to give you the feel of living in the city and access to all of the city has to offer. Parking at house is easy if you decide to have a car. Home is warm and inviting, beds are comfortable and kitchen is charming and perfectly appointed. Owner is welcoming, responsive when needed, and a wonderful host. Highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely home close to transit and neighborhood restaurants. It was perfect for my daughter and myself. The muni is easy to use to get to downtown without having to drive. Parking in the driveway was a definite plus, particularly considering the price to park in SF. Kitchen was well equipped. No dishwasher but not a problem for the two of us. Deb went above and beyond to make us welcome and assist with anything we needed. Across the street from an elementary school but that didn't bother us and it was very quiet in the evening and overnight. Would definitely stay again.

Debra is an excellent host. She was appropriately communicative and available for anything we needed. Her home is clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and comfortable - exactly what we needed. This place was top-notch. Debra was super helpful with everything. Checking in was effortless and she touched base with us a couple times to make sure things were going well.We've lived in SF 30 yrs but we needed another bedroom for my visiting nephew, so I know the city well. I picked the West Portal neighborhood because it is very vibrant and is full of restaurants, bars and shops that I already frequent. Transit access to the L, M, K train lines and 43 & 44 buses is extremely convenient. So, getting to downtown & Oracle Park or Chase Center and crosstown to Golden Gate Park and other neighborhoods is very easy. There's also a small playground very nearby.The place itself worked out great for us. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen had all the appliances and gear we needed. Washer & dryer were a big help. Being able to park in the driveway is HUGE in this city where parking is tough. Everything was very clean and worked well. The living room was comfy for the times we used the TV. Good shower, which isn't always true in SF. Overall, the place was great, the neighborhood is excellent, and Debra was a super host. When my niece comes for a visit next year, I will check for the availability of this place, and I really hope it is available.

The location of this property was very close to all the wonderful locations in San Francisco, including the Golden Gate. We appreciated the beautiful neighborhood, great places to eat for all cuisines, and the clean and cozy homely home, that was well stocked and with all the right touches to make our family's visit with teens a very comfortable and enjoyable vacation to this sliver of the West Coast. The host was very communicative and very attentive to the needs of our family, going out of her way to assist. All in all, it was a wonderful stay over 5 nights for our family.
