Nestled between tall old growth pines and Tumalo Creek, this handbuilt log home is in historic Skyliner neighborhood near Tumalo Falls. The cabin is 9 miles from the west side of Bend and downtown. It is serene, cozy and simple and at times enchanting.
Leif's Hideaway is set up for adventurous travelers who appreciate nature and the rustic beauty found near Tumalo Creek. There are mountain bike and hiking trails that can be accessed out the door. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres and offers a good amount of serenity while still being relatively close to the westside of Bend. (20 min drive/45 minute bike ride) It is also walking distance to Tumalo Falls if you are up for a longer hike.
The cabin gets a lot of snow in the winter months and for this reason a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required with good winter tires for access from November to April.
Dogs are welcome and please let us know if you are bringing your dog. There is a $50 pet fee.
Charming, beautiful cabin in the woods on a lovely creek. Peaceful setting and cozy cabin for a relaxing getaway. Near hiking and biking trails. Was perfect!
