This is a gorgeous home settled among large oak trees on a working apple orchard. It is beautifully furnished and has ac. , Internet, variety of games etc. There is a very pleasand courtyard and a balcony the length of the house. Check on was perfect and Tracy responded quickly to all queries and provided a wealth of local info on restaurants, things to do etc. Julian is a great western town to visit and has a laid back attitude. It is also very dog friendly. We have stayed at many VRBO across the US and this is probably the best. We hope to return.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Orchard House. The owners were responsive and helpful, and the house was furnished with everything we needed for a peaceful family getaway. My favorite spot was the porch swing on the breezy, shaded wraparound porch. We wished we’d thought to bring our telescope to take advantage of the clear, starry skies - next time!

Warm and Welcoming Environment.

Small group of women used the weekend to plan a Women's retreat for our church. QI would have preferred only one or 2 emails before we arrived. You sent multiple emails and it was difficult to find the right info as I arrived for gate and doors

Beautiful home!!

Loved the home and how secluded it was!!! Our only issue was the mattresses. Ours was very uncomfortable and so was our friends. Plus they are tall people, so their feet hung off the bed.

Great 3 night stay

We loved our stay! With five adults, the house gave us all plenty of space, with roomy, comfortable bedrooms that made us feel right at home. Nestled in an orchard, the property offered beautiful views and a peaceful setting—perfect for morning coffee on the porch or evening chats. Tracy was really good communicating all the details from check-in through checkout. We appreciated and followed her recommendations for local dining, shopping and hiking which were perfect for all of us. The kitchen was well-stocked and ready for meals, and we enjoyed gathering around the cozy dining areas. The family room was just the spot to unwind together after a day of exploring. It was wonderfully quiet, yet just a quick drive to Julian, a charming mountain town with great shops, friendly people, and amazing apple pie. Overall, this place is a gem. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Our Girls’ Getaway with Mom, Aunt, and sisters

Such a nice accommodating place! We relaxed out on the porch and had lunches. We played games at the large round living room table and meals at the large dining room table. Beds were very comfortable with large soft comforters. We cooked all our meals in a well supplied kitchen. We put together 3 puzzles provided. Thank you Apple Orchard House!

Julian gem!

Wonderful home with convenient single story layout and large porch with beautiful views. Kitchen is well-stocked, beds were comfortable, and the wifi was great. Dog friendly, but doesn't look like other pets were ever there. Perfect proximity to town and driving through the orchard is a fun touch. Property manager was extremely responsive and provided lots of helpful information about things to do and see in and around Julian. We hope to return!

Loved the property and area

We are absolutely in love with this house.It is adorable, the area is great. The house is well stocked and clean. We loved hanging out on the wrap around porch with the dogs. Planning our next visit.

Peaceful fun location

We really enjoyed the property. It was peaceful and relaxing and had all of the comforts of home. Communication with the property manager was great as she was really helpful with all things Julian. We will definitely return.

Pictures don't do the home justice

We rented the home on a last minute trip, thinking it was going to be an OK home. To our surprise it was much better then expected and noted how clean it was and how well supplied it was. Much appreciate when a host goes above expectations! Thanks for a great stay and looking forward to coming back!

Apple Orchard House Delight

This was our families 4th stay at this home and we continue to love this Gem in Julian. Everything you need is provided with a stocked kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed walking the grounds with our kids and dog and breakfast on the lovely deck. Communication with management was easy and our stay was beyond pleasant. Thank you so much! We look forward to our next trip to Julian and the Apple Orchard house!

A Wonderful Return Stay

Once again, we had a week long fabulous time at the Orchard House. This was our third time staying here, it's a great, quiet, location. It's also walking distance into the quaint town of Julian. However, the walk back up to the house might be a bit much for some as it's a steep driveway. The views from the porch, for us, were pretty and relaxing. We saw a couple of turkeys and some rabbits around the house (last time we also had deer!) The house was warm and welcoming, and because it was pretty cold the week we stayed, we enjoyed the fireplace every night. We bought the wood and fire starters from the market in town. The manager, also warm and welcoming, was always available to answer our questions - which I really appreciated. Check out was a breeze. We plan on returning soon! Love this house!!!

Great Getaway

This was our third visit. Have stayed at different places in Julian and this place by far is our favorite. Serene, comfortable and close to town. Clean, great amenities with everything you need for a home away from home.

We have stayed here the past 3 Thanksgivings and it is always a pleasure! Greta location, quiet place, plenty of room for everyone to relax. New appliances in the kitchen is a bonus!

The owners retired a couple years ago, apparently. The current property manager is rude and very unprofessional. Avoid staying here. The management will make you regret it.

Girls weekend and birthday celebration

A charming, quaint house, 5 of us were very comfortable. The outdoor spaces are equally lovely. It is very conveniently located to the downtown area but not walking distance. Tucked away in an orchard, it’s quiet and secluded. Communication pre check-in was excellent and no issues getting in and getting settled. We were given LOTS of good information about where to eat, what to do and also hiking and outdoor options. We would definitely go back!!! Many thanks for the hospitality and the apple cider!!!

Girls Annual Trip

We had such a wonderful time. Left the hubbys at home and got away for the weekend. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you Tracey for everything!

Keith and Priscilla Webb have been married since 1986. Though retired, they moved to Julian in 2010 and knew they needed to keep busy. After all, Priscilla is actively involved in fundraising efforts for the poor and needy in a variety of non-profit groups. Remembering their fondness for fruit from the Julian Farmer’s Market, Keith decided to try his hand at farming. So they bought their first apple orchard across from the Julian High School--Apple Lane Orchard. We are very proud of our apple cider manufacturing and distribution and the Wedding and Event Venue and Vacation Cottage. We hope you enjoy your stay at beautiful Apple Lane Orchards.
