Dear Shudney, I am so sorry you feel this way, but your explanation is completely wrong and misleading. These are the facts: as you mention, the arrival time says 4PM and ONE of your guests, ONLY ONE arrived in town at 1PM and decided to drive to the property: it's not my fault; as you said correctly, not before 4PM; you were supposed to arrive at 5:25PM but your flight was changed: not my fault either. If the property is empty that day, we allow guests to arrive in the morning without a problem. Regarding your comment on instructions on arrival: You and I were always in contact and you had the instructions way before your arrival. Regarding the rules and regulations at your arrival: this is a walk-through to help you live in this home and show you where everything is. This property is not a little 1 bedroom condo; it is an entire house and outdoors; it is our duty to show you how the house functions; if I don't show you where the pool light is, how will you find it? If I don’t’ show you where is the emergency supplies in case someone gets hurt, how will you find it soon enough. Amazing how all the guests checking-in, absolutely love the attention we give them to show the property in details and all our reviews show how much they appreciate it; it has nothing to do whether we know if you have rented a home previously or not; every home is different. Besides, we show you the property and ask you to sign a walk- through confirming the house is in good condition, clean and you have accepted the property the way you saw it. I have been in real estate for 30 years and walk-throughs are very important to confirm you are in agreement with what you see and what you expected; as a matter of fact, you were extremely happy and so was your entire group. Regarding my text message: my message was never about quiet hours schedule but about the noise you were making at 11PM when I asked you kindly to lower your voices; remember before accepting your booking, I made you confirm there wouldn't be any noise late at night to respect the neighbors. On your comment of your departure day and walk-through: the final walk-through is very important for all of us, to make sure nothing is missing or broken; of course it should happen. How would you like me to tell a guest after check-out that the a bed is completely broken for example? The insurance and deposit are there to insure the property damage but the guest and the host need to see it first before departure; otherwise guests can always say it didn’t happen. Regarding the rental fee: there is no amount of money that should allow guests to make any noise while renting a property; this is why short term rentals have a such a bad reputation when hosting noisy guests who think because they paid a fee, no matter what it is, they should be allowed to behave not exactly the same way they would in their own home. This property is well managed; we make sure we are on top of it and we are very strict about noise and we disclose it and disclose it constantly. And lastly, because you had partied the night before, we allowed you to leave at 11AM. It is not my fault if you can't get up in the morning after partying late in the night. The house was left in total chaos, a total mess: cleaning lady was horrified; you should not be allowed to rent any home really.

Thanks Craig. Now we have removed the house with the 1 bedroom and switched it with a 4 bedroom/2 baths and almost double the size of the other one. We'll be happy to host you again.
