The house was perfect for our visit - modern kitchen, plenty of space, great natural lighting, fenced-in back yard for our dog and great location! Would definitely stay here again.
House was very clean and comfortable for our spring break stay. We were visiting our daughter who is in grad school at UNC. The property was very convenient and host was very responsive!
Our family of 4 adults and 2 children enjoyed our stay at this spacious property in Carrboro. We came to attend a wedding at the Carolina Inn located 5 short minutes away. There are several businesses located within walking distance to include: a Harris Teeter grocery store, CVS, cute indoor art mall, and a few delicious restaurants (Breakaway and Tandum). The house is licated on a one way street meaning less congestion and was very quiet.Sandra is a great host and responded to my questions instantantly.
I was so excited about this stay. The home is located within walking distance of downtown Carrboro. The home is cute from the outside. It looks out over the back of a warehouse, which was fine, but was not included in the description. The house layout is nice and spacious. The backyard is fully fenced in. I wanted to love the house, but the cleanliness was not acceptable. I took off my shoes when I entered, but noticed my feet got dirty quickly on the floor. It was dusty and did not seem to have been swept. The main shower is spacious and has two shower heads. The mildew was terrible though. Given the amount of mildew, itâs had not been cleaned in a while. I cleaned it myself using Clorox and was able to remove most of it. The drawers in the kitchen had crumbs in them, so I cleaned them out. I had to wash pots and pans before use as they still had bits of old food on them. The wood work and window sills throughout the house were dirty and I had to wipe them down. There was dust on the sofas. The keurig had an old pod in it and was dirty. The house was not stocked well. There was a small partial paper towel roll and no others. The handsoap containers seemed to be watered down. There were no tissues and we almost ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher soap. The remote batteries were out on two. The internet did not initially work and required extra contact with the owner to fix it. She did respond but did not seem to know much about the house.
