This exclusive home is located in Mount Washington with close proximity to Highland Park, Eagle Rock, and the Self-Realization Fellowship Center. It provides easy access to a vibrant area with great local bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and playgrounds. This home has some original 1928 architecture that is mixed with modern touches and secret gardens where famous songwriters and film directors have nestled in to create some of the finest award-winning movies and music.

Spacious and serene hillside home with a whimsical atmosphere and breathtaking views. The house features large, open rooms and includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Among its notable amenities are a lovely grand piano, a deck, a hot tub, a fire pit, a grill, and a giant yard. The home is fully equipped with linens, towels, and kitchenware, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additional features include an outdoor sandbox, a tree swing, and an indoor/outdoor Sonos Audio System for entertainment.

The property boasts a lush and beautiful garden, and the whole house is equipped with air and water filters. It is important to note that this is a private residence. The main floor features a modest original 1928 Spanish kitchen with open cabinets, Thermador stove, blender, encore Baratza grinder, instant pot, convection oven, air fryer, and more. Also featured is a large dining room and living space for relaxation. The home is furnished with modern and minimalistic furniture for a relaxing experience.

The main floor also features a piano and library room filled with built-in shelves for the large selection of books to read and enjoy. The black iconic baby grand piano has been used to compose award-winning music by famous artist and song-writers which guests are asked not to use or touch. The room is an ideal combination of creative magic and ultimate relaxation with amazing views of the peaceful gardens.
The upstairs second floor features a large family living space for watching TV and a children’s play area. Also located on the second floor is a king-sized bed room overlooking the gardens with en-suite bathroom (shower/tub combination). Also featured is a second and third bedroom with a queen sofa bed room with a desk and a bed room with a bed and trundle (eco mattresses).

The outside is private with an abundance of trees and plants; a gardeners’ paradise. Trees: plum, lemon, fig, lime, peach, apple, grapefruit, pomegranate, orange and avocado. Herbs: thyme, oregano, chives, onions, mint). The outside balconies, stonework, multi-level gardens, and landscaping make this estate so magical and remarkable. This property is appropriate for babies (non walking/crawling) and children over the age of 5. There are a lot of steps, so not appropriate for young walkers without adult assistance and supervision.

Guests will have access to the entire home minus the garage and a locked room downstairs. The home was built in 1928 and has some quirks that is part of the character of the home. We hope you will love these quirks that transports you to another time period and that make this home unique.
This estate is perfect for guests that want to get away from everything and fans of experiencing a private and serene life-style amongst nature, but conveniently located within minutes to local restaurants, shopping, and only five miles away from popular tourist and entertainment destinations in downtown Los Angeles. The Mount Washington Self-Realization Fellowship Mother Center is located at the top of the mountain, which features beautiful gardens and special events on living technics and meditation. This estate is the perfect lodging to attend the programs and special events.

We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns.
We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself!

Mount Washington is a dreamy bohemian neighborhood with stunning hills and central to the best parts of LA! A quiet, serene area within 10 m of the action in Highland Park, Downtown LA, Echo Park, South Pasadena, Eagle Rock. 15m from Pasadena / Silverlake / Los Feliz/Glendale. LA's best restaurants, bars nearby. Gorgeous parks / hikes a stones throw away.

Street Parking is very easy. We are also close to the gold line train stop off Marmion way.
