Property is pretty small. In fact, it felt a bit like a trailer. But the space was clean and beds were comfortable. It was a perfect landing spot for the evenings after baseball. Loved the porch.
Quaint and adorable tiny cabin in a gorgeous setting that is optimally located between Cooperstown and Oneonta. Easy check in and access. Perfect for our family of 5.
perfect place to relax. close to the baseball hall of fame and local breweries! clean and stocked with all that is needed. great place to get into nature and away from it all!
This was perfect for our week of baseball. Everything we needed to make meals was provided. It was clean and my kids enjoyed being able to explore the property in the woods.
The cabin was cute and good enough for a small family, I was just by myself and liked it a lot. The WiFi worked well and loved having tea on the covered porch while listening to the chirping birds! The bathroom was well stocked and the water was nice and warm! Kitchen is stocked enough to cook a quick meal! Will recommend to any small family!
Rented for when our 12yo played at CASV. Property was clean, comfortable and had all necessities. Host was accommodating and helpful. Property was 20 minutes from CASV but worth the trip. Looking forward to staying again in 2 years when our 10yo plays up.there.
This is exactly what my family needed to recharge our batteries after longs days at the Dreams Park fields. The screened in porch was our favorite spot for morning and evening drinks. The futon couch was exactly what my mini MLB player needed to also recharge from peopling. Itâs close to many attractions, yet feels secluded to pretend the world doesnât exist. The laundry facilities helped our car ride home smell much nicer. Chrissy was amazing help, answering all my questions. This truly is a core memory experience.
We found this cute little hidden gem after a last minute decision to visit Cooperstown with our kids, and we were definitely lucky! This is a small rental but comfy, cozy and enough space for our family of 4. Quiet, beautiful surrounding woods, but not far from amenities and downtown. This home is clean, updated, and the kids loved having the loft as their own space. The owner was very communicative and had the electric fireplace on before we arrived. My kiddos are already asking to go back, and Iâm sure we will be!
Very quiet, serene location. Very clean. Being in the woods keeps the cottage in the shade of trees, so the AC wasnât too necessary. The cottage is small, as advertised. We were in cottage 1 which had the island very close to the French doors, making it somewhat difficult to get luggage in. The bed in the loft was much more comfortable than the one on the bedroom. A suggestion would be for a full length mirror.
Overall this cottage worked well for the two of us. Very close (15 min) from CDP.
My husband and I stayed there for 4 days this summer. The front porch is a very nice space and we spent a lot of time there, but the rest of the structure is somewhere between a trailer and a tiny house. If you are not small, slender people, this is not the cabin for you. We both kept banging our shins on the bed frame. The futon is like sleeping on a board. The kitchen was sparsely stocked. You can't even make spaghetti--not enough large pans. Two saucepans, each only large enough to heat up Spaghettios. No decent cutting board. Would have been nice to know that trying to make tuna salad would be a trial--I would have brought my own pans and cutting board. No wifi. Guests are supposed to go only 10 miles an hour on the dirt road that winds back to the cabins. The people staying in the first cabin went flying around the corner way over the speed limit and almost ran us into the pond. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The place was clean. They had lots of helpful literature on hand about where to eat and things to do, but that can't make up for the other shortcomings of the place. Others who stayed there seemed to enjoy it--families even--according to the messages left in the cabin notebook. For two clumsy people in their sixties who wanted more creature comforts, it just wasn't our cup of tea.
This was the perfect location for my family to stay for the week of dreams park. 12min drive which was not bad at all and location was very peaceful and beautiful nature scenery! Highly recommend this place if your coming to dreams park â€ïž
This place was perfect for our small family to enjoy! It's tucked away off the beaten path and was close enough to drive back and forth to Dreams Park in Cooperstown. We pulled in and instantly were happy with our choice! The location was very easy to find. My daughter loved the spacious loft upstairs she had all to herself. It was perfect for a small child! The cottage was clean, fully stocked and just as it appeared online. My favorite part was the enclosed front patio. We enjoyed waking up to the chirping birds and gorgeous, lush green scenery while having breakfast. The host, Chrissy, was extremely accommodating and very easy to work with and communication was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to any family traveling for baseball!
It was a good experience. I like the cleanliness and communication. I little difficult to locate at night. Trail(driveway) could use motion sensor solar lighting(minor suggestion).
I would easily revisit.
A great cabin, located in a private and peaceful wooded location. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. The fire pit and screened in porches provided great evening enjoyment. We will be back!
We loved our time at the tiny house. It was a nice secluded area in the woods but also very convenient to get to Cooperstown and the Dreams Park. I would suggest this to anyone staying in the Cooperstown area.
Cottages are tucked in a wooded area off the main road giving you a feeling of camping without the tent! With plenty of space between each cottage you have privacy even if traveling with others. Each cottage includes a fire ring, charcoal grill and porch to relax on.
All guests have access to coin washer/dryer located centrally near all cottages. There are 40 acres of woods to explore. Enjoy our meadow walk located at entrance, with many critters to keep an eye out for! Our guests have seen rabbits, deer, turkey, turtles and many more. Please note that all our cottages have a low ceiling in the loft area. This is a great space for kids! Like to fish? Only mins away you take a half mile drive to Crumhorn State fishing access. Or rent a kayak for the day and enjoy the Susquehanna River! Again this is only mins away.
