The place was lovely and clean upon arrival. We will definitely be returning there in the warmer weather to enjoy the property and nearby area to the fullest. Just to add to the wonderful stay, you get to enjoy cows outside.
We absolutely loved our stay!! Check in was seamless and you cannot beat the views!! Beautiful sunsets on the back deck! The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for our day trips or just to stay in and relax. Highly recommend for a quick or extended stay!
My husband and I stayed at Longview Cottage for a work trip. It was just as described, very clean and the views are indeed beautiful! The check process was easy and everything we needed to know about our stay was very clearly available. Richard made sure we knew he was available if we needed him but we didnât have any questions or problems during our stay. We visit the area often for work and will definitely try to stay again. Maybe we will even come for a pleasure visit and just enjoy the fantastic views from the deck. Itâs a great place to watch the sunset.
The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed without being cluttered. It was probably the most quiet and scenic location at which we have stayed at a VRBO property.
As advertised, this is a beautiful home in a very scenic setting. 20 mintues to Cooperstown Dreams Park was ideal for our visit. Check-in was super easy and host was very accomodating. Highly recommend staying here.
The house was great. I wasnât prepared for the gravel roads weâd need to take to access the house. It was as advertised 25 min from Cooperstown Dreams Park, but for a family not used to gravel roads, it seemed farther out of the way.
Beautiful landscape! Home is nice and offers the necessities. I would have appreciated more face cloths ( one wash cloth and two towels per guest), I appreciated each bedroom having a television by the guest room does not come equipped with a remote that can turn the tv on/off or the volume up/down which is inconvenient at night. The guest room also does not have an AC, just ceiling fan which is by sufficienct. Overall, great place for a quiet setting and loved that it was pet friendly!!
We were AMAZED by how nice this property was. The pictures and description don't do it justice. Everything worked properly and the host was incredibly inviting. We were in town for the Cooperstown Dream Park and found this property to be the perfect escape after a long day in the sun. It's a quick 25 min drive that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a quite, private & safe home with all the amenities, lots of open space and a view to die for, this is the spot. Enjoy!
house was perfect for our purposes with great views out the windows. Our dog was so much more relaxed than if we had stayed in a hotel. We did have to be careful with all the deer in the yard!!! Very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
As advertised, the view was great. The place is surrounded by farms, woods, deer, and turkey. Very quiet and comfortable. Lots of room for whiffle ball and games in the yard. Reasonable drive to Cooperstown and it's attractions, mostly on dirt roads. We'll visit again.
Basically and to sum it all up, this listing is accurately described on Vrbo. Close proximity to Cooperstown, Oneonta and major state parks for hiking. Also, we enjoyed our drives around County with the peaceful, tranquil and scenic rural roads. This cottage was so cozy and lovely that it had all of the amenities of a modern home and more! Owner very hospitable, personable and responsive, living close by!
Beautiful, remote location. Comfortable accommodations for a family of 3. Great kitchen setup, fireplace and all comfort amenities, Wi-Fi , TVs, etc.Would definitely stay again!
I grew up nearby in the town of Springfield Center in 1985 I enlisted in the Navy and served 6yr and was aboard the USS Silverside (SSN(679) in 1991 I moved to San Diego to work on Submarines . As I came home for visits I missed the beautiful landscape and outdoor activities Upstate NY has to offer so in 2000 I moved back home and started my own contracting business that I am still doing today
I built this house in 2006 for a customer in 2012 he moved and I purchased the home because it borders my property and I wanted to help my daughter get into a home
The views the rolling hills and the peace and quite . The only thing that should startle you out here is the wildlife I have been all over the country and I still believe that this is one of the most beautiful place I have ever been.
