This cabin was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and a chance to recharge. The air conditioning was a welcome relief after long trail walks with our dogsâthey may have appreciated it even more than I did! The kitchen was well-stocked with basic essentials, which came in handy since I forgot a wine opener. The surrounding forest is incredibly serene, with birds singing in the morningâsuch a beautiful way to start the day. There are plenty of nearby trails that were great for the dogs, and we ended each evening relaxing by the firepit.Overall, this is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature, and unwind. Highly recommend!
I stayed for just 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The experience was cozy and pleasant, and the location was conveniently close to Cooperstown!
The cabin was super cute and spotless. The problem was we found 3 which was enough that my daughter wouldn't stay in the cabin and kept me on the couch because one was upstairs in the bed.
Simple but well-appointed cabin nestled into a beautiful pine forest only 20 minutes from town. The ladder up to the lofted space might be a bit challenging for some people, but works great! Great place.
We had a wonderful time at this secluded cabin in the woods. My husband and I were getting away for our 15th Anniversary and just wanted to unwind. This cabin was the perfect spot to do it. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather and reading. There was plenty of space and the cabin was perfectly clean. We highly recommend staying here!
The listing was very accurate and true to the cabin. We loved the location and the peacefulness of the area. The cabin was clean, smelled great, and had most everything we needed. We were very happy with our choice and would absolutely stay there again!
My wife an i came to stay for a couple days to rest an renergize an rekindle. The cabin was amazing beautiful an had everything you would ever need. Manager was great an very informative. Thank you all so much for such a great experience we will staying at one the other cabins next time as we will be bringing the kids.
Perfect size cabin for you or another, dog friendly is a plus. Super relaxing and chill great atmosphere to just get away. owner seemed very nice as well
If youâre looking for peace and quiet, this is it. We were in the area to visit Cooperstown and found this cabin.Cabin was immaculate and very comfortable, although we basically slept/showered and left each day (so I cannot comment on the kitchen functionality - although everything in there was in great shape).Upstairs loft is awesome, but it does require using a ladder to access.Owner contact (Michael) was responsive and everything was exactly as described. WiFi was capable of supporting four adults as we checked our phones at night.Fire pit outside - bring firewood - youâll pass several roadside options on the drive. Hammock as well. Backyard is large enough for corn bag competition (bring your own boards) or playing catch. Cabin is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. You are in the forest.Getting to the cabin from Câtown involved a winding 40 minute drive over a couple of âmountainsâ and through some valleys - not tough, but def required gps help from phone. We never attempted it at night due to the # of turns and potential for animals on roadway. Pretty drive.Oneonta is the closest big city (15-20 min drive from cabin) - plenty of grocery options there.Tried several restaurants/breweries/wineries in area - highly recommend Ommegang for the vibe - check their website for local musical acts (Friday nights?). Tried Cooperstown Brewing Company - good beer, but much smaller place than O and more of a taproom/bar. Upstate Bar/Grill was excellent.
