Adorable 1 bedroom space

Great property, super cute and clean, with easy access to transportation around the city. Owner provided all necessities and more and was very helpful and responsive. Would love to stay again if I’m back in the area.

A very cosy and nice appartment.

This appartment was amazing. We loved to stay here. It was very close to the subway (express) and had many stores and restaurants around. Even the supermarket was two blocks away. Great stay and we will come back!

Great location, comfortable and quiet

A short, pleasant walk to the subway station where the A and D express lines delivered us quickly to all of our jumping off points. Also near the M60 bus line to La Guardia. An easy walk to a selection of grocery stores and delis including a Whole Foods just a few blocks away.

A great place to stay uptown

We stayed five nights in Sonja's apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. A beautiful interior with AC that was really welcome on some 90 degree days and just a short walk to the subway. The place was clean and secure, and the owner was always responsive and helpful. The next time we're in New York we'll try to stay in the same place.

Can’t Wait to Stay Here Again

Our visit and stay at Sonja’s apartment exceeded our expectation. We were able to check in a bit early, all the amenities we needed (and then some) were present. Sonja explained everything and also gave us great tips on nearby shops we might need. The location was great, close to transportation and things to do. The units bright colors and decor were an added bonus. We can’t wait to go back.

The Best Getaway Ever!

From the time I first saw this lovely apartment online, I knew it was the place for us!! Everything was so convenient! We were able to find everything we needed for our stay! We cooked breakfast almost every day. We made several trips to the corner deli for bagels! Our hostess was only an email or phone call away. We would love to return to this cozy apartment someday soon!!

Exactly as advertised

We had a very pleasant stay in this wonderful apartment. It is so well equipped we could not believe there was no corkscrew when we desperately needed one, so now we have a very nice shiny new corkscrew that will always remind us of the wonderful time we had in New York living in Harlem´s Morningsight Heights. We will recommend this apartment to our friends. Thanks for everything

Okay.

The apartment is nicely decorated. The décor is eclectic. Unfortunately, there was a strong odor that was the result of a broken pipe under the house. The other issue, was that the apartment had been overbooked and the next occupants were scheduled to occupy before my departure. Although the owner asked my permission to come in to start preparations for the next occupant, I found this to be uncomfortably intrusive. My suggestion is to make sure to schedule the unit appropriately so that each has an opportunity to enjoy the experirnce fully. More adequate lighting needed in the entrance to the building.

Exactly as advertised, close to metro!

This is a lovely apartment in uptown/Harlem. I was nervous I’d feel unsafe but I didn’t. 5 min walk to metro, 10 min walk to Central Park. The apartment was clean and exactly as the pictures suggest. It was great to have a bit more space and be able to cook. Netflix isn’t offered anymore but that’s fine as I had Amazon prime which I could sign in to, plus I wasn’t there to watch TV. There is strong WiFi which was great. It is a basement apartment so you do sometimes hear the floor above moving around, but other than that the street is surprisingly quiet. The owner was quite responsive. We only had one issue to do with heating and she dealt with it straight away (I asked for more hours of heat in the evening as it was 29 degrees)!!! Great apartment away from the main hustle and bustle but 20 mins metro ride from the good stuff. Oh and great running routes in Central Park. Personally I think good value for money. Thanks Sonja

Charming apartment and easy process

Everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment is charming and in a lovely neighborhood. Away from the more touristy areas, but with plenty to do, including nice walks. We loved our stay inside, especially the adorable kitchen. Everything we needed and more. Seamless check in and communication. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great and cosy spot!

The apartment is ideal for a couple who want to be comfortable and cosy in NYC! Super close to subway station to get everywhere. Apartment has everything you could need and more — host was also very communicative and helpful!

Location great but apartment was disappointing

Based on the online presentation we had expected a much nicer apartment and house. The enterance to the apartment was littered with garbage and not pleasant at all. In addition to the poor cleanness of the apartment, we had problems with the heating and thus could not enjoy our stay at the appartment in December.

Sweet little Harlem gem

Great place! Great location from subway about 3 blocks. Had everything you need. We cooked a couple meals there. Bed was very comfortable and pillows. Quiet neighborhood. We would stay again!

The property has everything you need and was clean and organized. There were a few minor things like having to put the key back in the lockbox because there was not an extra one but it was actually a relief not to have to carry the key and possibly lose it. There were a few small things that could have been improved but for the most part everything went well. It was comfortable!

Enjoyed our stay

Sunday through Wed stay. Very convenient, comfortable, quiet and safe. Close to subway, eateries, wine shop and local markets. We plan to stay here again. Two pillows were soft two were really hard. Washing machine out of order. Need passwords to watch tv.
