The Stone Gas Fireplace offers additional ambiance and enjoy the peace and quiet of the screened in porch. This beautifully maintained, three-level mountain top home is perfectly designed to maximize both comfort and nature's beauty. Our home is ideal for year-round adventure and relaxation. Explore the Rockland Valley vineyards, wineries, breweries, cideries, shops and restaurants. Leisurely trips along Skyline Drive and breathtaking hikes across the Blue Ridge Mountains await you! Easy access to the Appalachian trail. Dine inside or out. Perfect for families or large groups this home comfortably sleeps 10 with plenty of living space, making it the perfect Oasis for families or group get away.
Enter this recently renovated home and discover an open floor plan and breathtaking views over Crawfords Knob and the Rockfish Valley. The main level includes an open floor plan with French kitchen, dining area, living room with comfy seating, breakfast nook and half bath. Enjoy a 25 ft natural stone gas fireplace and floor to ceiling windows that open up to a large wrap around deck with outdoor seating/dining area and a separate screened-in porch. The fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops with island seating, stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, full-size fridge, Keurig, traditional coffeepot, crockpot, and enough dishes, utensils, barware and cookware for a full house. The dining area has seating for 8 with additional kitchen island seating for 2 and a breakfast nook for 2 more guests.

The primary bedroom is located on the third level. It boasts vaulted ceilings, a queen bed with a super comfy mattress and plush bedding and Wi-Fi enabled Smart TV. An attached primary bath includes dual vanities and a walk-in shower. Sharing this level is a loft overlooking the living room with a pull-out sofa, reading nook and third level deck.

The lower level includes two cozy bedrooms, each featuring queen beds and with walk-out access to lower deck, as well as a fourth bedroom that sleeps three in a twin over full bunk bed. All feature plush bedding to let you rest peacefully. Down the hall is a full bath with tub/shower and a laundry/utility room with washer and dryer.

Additional home amenities include free WiFi throughout the home, three Smart TVs located in the main living area and 2 of the bedrooms, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, pack-n-play, baby gate and twin roll-away bed.

Guests will have the entire property to themselves, offering completed privacy and freedom to enjoy every moment of their stay. With ample driveway parking, you can relax knowing your vehicle is secure. Please note that the extended driveway is at an incline, so we advise all guests to proceed with caution, especially during the winter months or rainy weather.

To make your arrival seamless, you'll receive the door code 24 hours before check-in, ensuring a smooth start to your getaway. Information about the home and local amenities and activities is located in the kitchen. In the unlikely event something does not work at the home, we have a local 24/7 service available to assist you.

Wintergreen is a four-season resort that is minutes away from skiing, pools, spa, ninja course, world class hiking, golf and more! Enjoy 11,000 awe inspiring acres of Blue Ridge Mountains and valley with Virginia's highest mountain golf course, ranked one of the top 50 golf resorts in the world. Enter Skyline Drive at the Rockfish Gap Entrance Station. Sherando Lake is an easy drive from the home.

GUEST POLICIES/HOUSE RULES

We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay. To ensure this, we kindly ask you to observe the following policies:

*No Parties or Events: To maintain a peaceful environment and respect our neighbors, we do not permit parties, events, or large gatherings.

*No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the cabin. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

*Booking Guest Age Minimum : 25 or older, Host reserves the ability to check ID. *Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed is as per the booking details. No additional overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the owner.

*Local Laws & Ordinances: Guests must comply with all local laws, rules, and ordinances during their stay.

*Pets. Dogs only; owner will consider on a case-by-case basis in advance. Absolutely no cats! Owner is allergic to cats.

*Quiet Hours: To respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment, we ask that you observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, please keep noise levels to a minimum, particularly when outdoors.

*Cleanliness: We ask that you maintain the cleanliness of the cabin during your stay. Kindly remove your shoes when entering the cabin. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.

*Respect for Nature: As our cabin is located in a beautiful natural setting, we ask that you respect the environment by not littering, disturbing wildlife, or damaging any natural features.

Note: Breaking any of these or any House Rules may result in immediate termination of your reservation. Guests will be required to vacate the property, and no refund will be provided for any remaining nights. Additionally, any damages caused as a result of violating these rules will be charged to the guest.

Note: This property features three exterior security cameras. Three exterior facing cameras provide security, facing the front entry and driveway, outdoor walkway and stone steps, and the back of the home approaching the rear steps. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device and records until there is no longer motion.

The house was amazing! Very close to the main wintergreen area and easy to get in and out. My son and I loved sitting by the fire and playing games while we taking breaks from the slopes.

Gorgeous Property

We have been visiting Wintergreen for years, typically a couple of times a year when my husband works an event at Devils Backbone. This time, with extended family joining us, we needed a slightly larger home — and we couldn't have been more thrilled with this choice. This property absolutely blew us away and is by far our favorite stay to date.The home is simply beautiful, and it’s clear that the owners take great pride in caring for it, from the well maintained landscaping outside to the thoughtful details throughout the interior. The hot tub and the breathtaking sunrises from the front of the home each morning were just the cherry on top.Our entire group fell in love with the layout and charm of the home. We are already crossing our fingers that we'll be able to stay here again when we return in the fall!
