Le Wintergreen Briarpatch est une nouvelle maison de location de vacances au sein de Wintergreen Resort Virginia situé dans le prestigieux quartier Bouton Boucle du Diable. Cette relativement nouvelle escapade de charme de la montagne est à quelques centaines de yards de belvédères magnifiques et est à distance de marche du jardin d'hiver Spa. Configuration idéale pour 1 -2 familles - la maison peut accueillir confortablement 10 chambres à 4 et 2-1 / 2 salles de bains.

La maison dispose de nombreux équipements haut de gamme, y compris:
Accès WPI membres
Cuisine et salle à manger - Une nouvelle marque GE Profile, Kitchenaid et Kenmore appareils et une cuisine bien équipée. Les comptoirs de granit avec des tabourets pour 4 places et une grande table à manger avec des chaises et des bancs pour 8. Foyer au bois en pierre avec manteau de chêne, bois fourni.

Short Stay on Devil’s Knob

We stayed here for three nights. The location was great for us. The house was cozy and comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great house in a great location

This house is everything you need for a retreat to the mountains. It's tucked away from most of the development and has easy access to hiking trails. Everyone had a great time.

Anniversary Get Away

My wife and I looked for a place to enjoy the beauty of the great scenic Shenandoah area and relax for a few days. It was the perfect location with ample amenities to provide distance and encounter great adventure. Thanks to the host for his generous response to each question that would arise.

So well stocked, such a great location. This is a great place to start your adventure in Wintergreen, VA. All the necessary gear, at a welcoming home. The old AT is just a few minutes away. If you love the mountains, this is your next rental.

Nice Home

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Have to say it was the best supplied and best equipped I have ever stayed in . Only down side would be anyone with knee or back issues beware … the toilets are very low .

Great Wintergreen house!

Very well maintained property in general with many extras like linens, towels, loads of silverwear, glasswear, pots and kitchen appliances. The master bed was very comfortable - the upstairs beds were less so for adults. Other than that we had a great time.

I stay at Wintergreen frequently and this is one of the nicest houses I have ever stayed at. Impeccably maintained house. Spacious with high end furniture. Custom kitchen. It's a "Don't Miss".

Beautiful Getaway

We stayed here with family to attend my daughters graduation Lynchburg. Although this was an hour away from the graduation, it was the only lodging we could find, we don't regret the drive. It was a perfectly peaceful location to stay. We loved staying at this location. Very quiet and serene. The look outs on the resort had amazing views. The house accommodations were perfect for the 8 of us staying. My handicapped mother in law had her own space and bathroom downstairs and that gave her and all of us peace of mind. Nathan was very helpful and attentive to any questions we had about things in the house. If it weren't for the 17 hour drive from Texas to here, we would definitely stay again.

Celebrating my mothers first birthday since she passed away

Came here to release some of my mother’s ashes since her passing in November. My mother always told us she wanted her ashes to be released in wintergreen so since she passed away in November and her birthday is February 4th I decided her birthday would be the perfect day to celebrate her. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. I contacted the owner and asked a question in our stay and they went above and beyond to help us out. We were extremely grateful with them accommodating us. We will now be making this a yearly trip to celebrate my mother.

Nice Fall Colors and Enjoyable Stay at Briarpatch!

We stayed at Briarpatch in Oct 2023. It was a very nice, comfortable, and well-stocked house. The kitchen had lots of nice cookware and the little extras, like coffee, spices, and gadgets. The appliances were very good and worked well. We also enjoyed the dining area by the fireplace and the large great room with windows that make you feel like you’re outside in the woods. The beds and the newer sectional couch are really comfortable. The TV was a great size for watching movies, sports, etc. We liked the ramp to the front porch that was just a few steps off the deck and the driveway for easy access. We hope to come back to this house again.

Great House - But Comes With Work

The house is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the furnishings are great. Just be aware that they day you check in, you will need to put the sheets on five beds and unload the dishwasher. Not the way I was expecting to spend my first evening of vacation. Then, on your check out day, you will need to strip all of the beds, empty all trash cans and haul out the trash a mile away, run the dishwasher and have the house "broom ready," all by 10AM in the morning. Wonderful house otherwise.

We purchased Briarpatch at Wintergreen Resort in 2010 with the intention of having a Family Retreat that could be rented on a limited basis. We hope other families will enjoy our home as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose Wintergreen because my wife grew up having a family home on the mountain and my husband had been a visitor to Wintergreen since its founding. We enjoy the fact that this is a four seasons resort with hiking, fishing, skiing and year around activity. We also enjoy being near the Virginia Horse Center and the variety of horse activities close to Wintergreen. We also enjoy visiting the many towns that are reasonably close to Wintergreen and find the central location ideal for day trips within the region. We hope you enjoy Wintergreen and Nelson County as much as we do.
