Great stay. I love that you have to be in the fenced in area before you go inside the home. This way if your dogs slip outside they are in the fenced in area and canât run off. Love that there is everything you need plus you are only 15 minutes away from Grand Rapids. Thank you for having toys for the dogs as well, nice touch!
We had a great time staying here, the house was perfect for my husband and I and perfect distance form the Grand Rapids Area. Our fur baby LOVED having somewhere to run on our trip. We come from an apartment complex so it was much needed!
We enjoyed our stay and is in a great locationThe fenced yard was perfect to accommodate playtime for 2 well behaved energetic dogs, toys and bowls were supplied if needed. Property owners were quick to respond to all my communications. It has a well stocked kitchen and bathroom with needed supplies and plenty of towels/toiletries. It was less clean than I would have expected.
Our dogs really loved the backyard . The beds were really comfortable however the toilets and bathroom had deep stains in them . Lots of cobwebs and dust on blinds and in the bathroom that we had to clean before getting into the shower and sleeping.
Easy check in, clean home, all the amenities, and close to fantastic restaurants. We needed a place fast to deal with a family emergency and the Engels' beautiful little home was everything we could have hoped for. The fenced in back yard is perfect and the host even left dog toys for the fur kids to play with.Definitely will look for this place again the next time we're in Michigan!
We had Katelyn's place as an overflow house for or annual family ski weekend. Most of the group stayed in Lowell but a few of us stayed at Katelyn's. We were only really there at night but it was perfect for wat we needed. The house is spacious but cozy, the beds were comfortable and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs. The house was clean and in a cute little neighborhood right by the lake.I would definitely recommend Katelyn's place and would stay again!
The owner is easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. Hunter allowed our pet birds, moved our stay by one day, plus added on an extra day upon request. The house seems to be a fairly new rental; not a lot of pictures and such yet, but kitchen is well stocked and it is comfortable and in a nice area. We drove 2 minutes to throw kayaks in the lake and the walk path is right there. It is close to Holland Mi. for the festival, Grand Rapids for the Meier Gardens and Sculptures. And there are many nice walk/bike paths and parks. Enjoy this home for outdoor activities in the area. We appreciate a nice stay for good rates, easy clean up, well stocked, and comfortable.
My family, dog and I stayed here while I was attending a conference in Grand Rapids. I tend to look for lakes whenever possible for our rentals, as my mom loves sitting by lakes in the early morning, and they tend to be quieter areas perfect for unwinding after a long day at a convention. This place was good, and we enjoyed our stay well enough, but it could do with a deep clean. Most of the doors were dirty all around the handles (especially the bathroom door), and there's a fair number of dings and scrapes on framing and cabinetry. As people who own a rental property ourselves, we know how important it is to have our place be clean for guests, and this felt like it was lacking in that department. We really liked how close to the lake we were, and loved the fenced in yard for my pup. Would consider staying here again if we're in the area, but would love to see it get a good deep clean.
