Sortir de la porte d'entrée et être sur la plage de sable blanc en moins d'une minute. Le chalet peut accueillir 8 personnes avec 3 chambres et deux salles de bains plus un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Le salon et véranda face à la baie avec des couchers de soleil spectaculaires. La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 personnes et est idéalement située dans la cuisine moderne. Un grand patio offre une terrasse confortable avec un grand barbecue à gaz. La propriété offre un parking dans la rue pour votre commodité. Beaucoup de place pour un bateau.

Les chambres 1 et 2 offrent des lits queen et la chambre 3 offre deux lits jumeaux. Comme mentionné, il y a un canapé-lit queen dans le salon et un sac à dos portable. Senior ladies girls' trip was wonderful!The golf carts were great too.Quaint home and we appreciate it had no steps to go to bed rooms.

Perfect location & exactly as advertised

I recently stayed here with my partner and 2 friends. There was plenty of space for 4 adults, including a few of us working remotely. The sun room was our primary hangout spot even though there was room to spread out. We loved the location. The house is dated. The second bathroom is very small. We did have to bring our own beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bedrooms are comfortable - including window a/c units.

Loved Cap Charles

We loved Cape Charles for it's laded back environment. House was a 1960's property but it had everything you need and more.

Great location- accurate description

My sisters, mom and I decided that cape Charles was a half way point to meet for a long weekend. The house was more affordable than others, it had a nice layout with a few places to sit and hang out. Our favorite was the sun room. Furniture is outdated but the space was perfect and we enjoyed our coffee there. The outdoor seating was great as well and we spent a few evenings out there as well . A short walk to town and a short walk to The beach. Parking was fine on the street for all 3 cars. Overall a nice stay in a quaint town with great commonality. Easy to get the key and drop it off. Clothesline outside is a really nice touch!

Great home!

This house exceeded expectations! While it isn’t new and updated, it’s perfectly clean, cozy, comfortable, and spacious. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Cannot beat the location directly across from the beach and just minutes from the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this for families with young children and anyone wanting a relaxing beach getaway.

Cozy beach cottage

This is a great little house. Right across the street from the beach! The house is portrayed accurately. It’s definitely older and shows some wear and tear but it was a perfect place to bring our young kiddos.

2nd time!

We loved the little cottage by the bay! This is the second time we stayed here. The location is wonderful and it feels like home away from home. I would love to see some improvements done to the home. a few updates would do wonders for this home! Oh and WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THE FLIES OUTSIDE! They were driving us crazy!!

Great location

Could use some attention to highdust/cobwebs. Windows haven’t been dusted in quite some time but the location made up for this. The back door rail is separating as are bricks creating a potential risk. Comfortable beds.

Beautiful views from the sunroom. Perfect location to walk to shop, restaurants, or the pier.

This home was very accommodating for my handicapped father. Spacious rooms and walkways as well as limited steps allowed him to enjoy a nice vacation in a beautiful town.

Perfect location.

The location of this property can't be beat. We could watch the sunset from the sun room, it was directly across the street from beach access and convient to downtown. The home was as described: well equiped kitchen, beds were comfortable and nice and spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing stay but a great location

This was a disappointing stay in a charming town with a great location. The house hasn’t been updated in many many years which we knew going in, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so dirty inside. There was so much dust everywhere and the floors were disgusting. The bathrooms had terrible caulking and mold. The sink surfaces looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in quite awhile. I also found a dirty plate from another tenant sitting in another room. The wifi barely worked and was so slow. It was advertised as 2 bathrooms but the second bathroom just had a gross shower in it on the other side of the house not suitable for actually showering. So it was essentially one bathroom. There were also bugs all over the place. Gnats, crickets, spiders, flies. We will absolutely never return to this house, but we loved cape Charles in general. The location was very convenient to the beach which was truly the only saving Grace for this house.

Comfortable and convenient

Convenient beach access, sufficient dining space, relaxing sun room, all one floor, adequate climate control, comfortable arrangements. A minor con is no dishwasher, but we have no issues with that. There does seem to be some malfunction with the DVD player, although we did get it to work after continued effort. Bathrooms and kitchen are quite dated but function well, plenty of hot water. Many thanks to Chuck at Cape Charles realty for his attention, assistance, and kindness!

Wonderful location and well-appointed home

We loved our stay at the Bay Cottage. Convenience to the beach was really best in town. Bedrooms and living spaces were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need and grill was wonderful!

A Beachfront Getaway

Bay Cottage is a slice of heaven. We’ve never stayed so close to the water. Our group of 6 was comfortable and enjoyed every wonderfully decorated room. We didn’t mind not having a dishwasher and were thankful for the washer/dryer. We’ll be back!

Best house in Cape Charles

Best beach front house in Cape Charles. Nice and clean house located just across the street from the Beach access and easy walk to everything downtown. House was very clean and neat. Had everything we needed for a great Girl's Weekend. Don't worry about not having a dishwasher you will not miss it trust me. Beds were very comfortable. Will rent again.

Cute Cottage for a Beach Getaway

This was a cute cottage and perfect for our recent beach trip. It is right across the street from the beach and very convenient to shops and restaurants, which are only three blocks away. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed watching the sun set over the dunes from the front yard.

Great location for a relaxing week

We had a great time relaxing at Bay Cottage. The cottage was quite a bit more spacious than we thought it would be. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. The sunsets were gorgeous and we had a lot of fun visiting both the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic up and down the peninsula. The Chincoteague Ponies were fun to see. The Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge was one of our favorite places to witness the changing of the tides. And the proximity to Norfolk and surrounding area was very nice as well. Thank you for such a nice place to stay.

Amazing

Cape Charles is an idyllic location to reconnect with friends and family. The Bay Cottage was amazing and even better than the pictures. It was the perfect spot for 3 old friends, who have been separated by time and distance, to catch up for a few wonderful days. We plan on making this an annual event!

Great place to stay in Cape Charles

We really loved the Bay Cottage. It was a very comfortable place to stay and a great location. We especially loved the sunroom. Bed were comfortable and the house well kept. We would stay here again.

Rejuvenating, simplifying

We were looking for a break from ... everything. And we got it. The cottage is charming, practical, and surprisingly roomy. Five of us were totally comfortable, moving in and out of shared and separate spaces. Cape Charles is comfortable and friendly. Off-season was a great time to visit - sedate, quiet, restful. And all the local nature refuges were great places to visit.

Love staying at the cape

Easy to get rented and staying felt like home. Bathroom is small and outdated but had charm. Nice sunroom but some bushes large. No dishwasher but increased family time. Relaxing and enjoyable.
