Nestled Nubble Home!

This Nubble home has it all! Nestled just off Nubble Rd., you still get the privacy and space (inside and outside) desired for 14 people! This lovely home offers 6 bedrooms plus lower level with extra sleeping, central air, 2 grills, outdoor shower and more. First floor offers main living area with wonderful large staircase to greet you, two sitting rooms and a formal dining area and entertaining kitchen. There is one bedroom and a full bath on the first floor as well. There is laundry in the mud room as you enter in from the garage. The top level offers a king size master suite with a large jet tub and shower, another king size bed with a single bed in a spacious room. There are three more bedrooms - two with queens and another with a single bed and a trundle singe beds. There is also a full bath on this floor. Walk to Long Sands in about 10 minutes and Short Sands in about 15. Quick walk to Fox's Restaurant, Nubble Lighthouse and Dunn's Ice Cream within 5 minutes!! You will fall in love with this house and never want to leave. The new owners have added new furniture and new central AC so your vacation will be comfortable and relaxing. Come vacation in Maine, the way life should be!

In memory of my sister

Was very beautiful home! But was hard to go to beach when you have health issues that causes you not being to be able to walk long distances. And to drive to beach was impossible to get a parking spot.

Great house - perfect location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect - a long walk or short drive into town and the beaches. We were also pleasantly surprised with how big the deck and backyard were. Plenty of room for games etc. Would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful House!

We had a great stay in York at this property. There was plenty of room for our large family and it was conveniently located between Long and Short Sands beaches. The house was clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We also enjoyed the outdoor space and used the grill several times. Overall it exceeded our expectations!

Family Time in York, Maine

This home was charming! We felt the love in every detail in every room. We loved they layout and sounds of the windchimes and birds chirping. The proximity to the Nubble and Fox's Restaurant was wonderful to walk to. We would definitely stay again instead of crowding our nearby relatives with our growing family!

15 4th Avenue Beach Vacation

The house was absolutely perfect for my family of ten. Plenty of space inside for activities, and the outside deck systems made for an enjoyable morning watching the sunrise over coffee, and evenings by the fire pit. Added bonus was the family of deer that visited us each morning. Highly recommend this house and look forward to returning next year! Susan.

Family vacation in Maine

House was quite spacious. Very nice deck out back. Pictures on website really don’t do it justice. We had a wonderful stay, including a cookout on July 4th using grills.

Great House!!!!

This was a wonderful place for my large family. We had 15 people with us and everyone was able to sleep comfortably and even have privacy!! The pictures are very accurate. The house was clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Trip

My family last minute decided to go away for New Year’s Eve and luckily we found this place! When we got there we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. We all had a great time. We loved the basement we played down there for hours!! Then we went tubing and skiing and we had a great time doing that as well. Overall we had an awesome time!!

Great stay. Basement play room great surprise bonus. Just a tip for if you are coming in late and tired - the beds aren’t made. Also no crib as pictured just 1 pack and play and no sheets for it.

Great Property

Property was everything that we needed. Plenty of space, central air, outdoor shower, 10 minute walk to the beach. We had 6 kids ages 8 -3 and 6 adults. And at no time did we ever feel on top of each other. The accommodations were great.

Everything you could ask for!

Close proximity to the beaches (easily and safely walked to both Long and Short sands with children), quiet, quaint neighborhood. The house is incredibly spacious, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Kitchen had all the amenities you would ever need (no crock pot but that was easy to bring). The central air and ceiling fans in each room was perfect. The front porch and back deck were exactly what we needed for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The play room downstairs in the basement was an added bonus that was used every day by the kiddos. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely home

Six bedrooms are very comfortable. The basement is only a mattress on the floor which would be fine for a kid but not great for adults. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was very comfortable. They even had decorated for Christmas, a nice touch. Lots of towels and well supplied. My only complaint is that the front storm door had a design problem and would catch in the wind in the area, which is powerful. There was a sign on it requesting that we keep it latched, but with the coming and going of 9 people, someone did not make sure it was latched. The wind blew it open and bent the $20 piston that auto closes the door. We were charged $145 for that and I think that is way out of line. Other than that, I would highly recommend the property.

All we could ask for.....perfect

We rented this beautiful, spacious home for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. 5 families for a total of 12 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. Home is well kept, clean and spacious. Pretty much everything we needed was already in the home; WiFi, linens, towels, cookware, coffee maker, blender, gas grill, gas griddle and gas fire pit. Outside deck and patio are a nice spot to relax after a long day. Property is withing walking distance to the Nubble, Long Sands and several restaurants, however it is on a very quiet street. Parking for 3-4 cars. The VRBO system created a few glitches with communications with host. Security deposit was refunded very quickly. Would rent this place again and it is highly recommended.

Big enough for the whole family

The location was perfect and the house was one of the nicer rentals we've stayed in. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, nicely equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor space with lots of seating. My 5 year old nephew really liked the children's playroom in the basement which was loaded with toys, and the grown ups enjoyed the two dining tables in the evening: one for after dinner chatting and one for playing board games. Host communication was excellent before, during, and after our stay. We even had a situation where we accidentally left some stuff behind after checkout and the host was very accommodating and arranged for us to pick it up. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Summer Vacation

We have stayed in some great Vrbo rentals and this house has to be right there at the top. Some of the basics. It was very well stocked on dishes, towels, and basic necessities, plenty of beds and places to sit and lounge, (and they are comfortable as well). Two beaches, the light house, restaurants, and ice cream are all just a few minutes walk. We especially loved the weather and sitting on the porch where the swings and patio chairs were comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the cool breeze for the evening rains. We loved this location and it has something for everyone. I wish we had used the basement and game area a bit more, but there was so much to do in town and at the beaches. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to any friends and family. This location is especially great for a large group of people. We thought this location was also great to explore more of New England and we were able to visit four states through easy day trips.
