Perfect family vacation home across from the ocean. Beautiful spacious home with all updated appliances and a large outdoor wrap around deck with a large yard. Perfect for yard games, family fun while the kids run around the yard and even your own private space to enjoy the views while sipping on your special drink. The house is sleeps 14 guests with very comfortable room space and beds. The main floor offers two sitting rooms with separate televisions. There are two staircases to the second floor. The main bathroom on the second floor has washer and drier. The house is located a short walking distance to Short Sands beach which offers an array of family friendly restaurants, shopping, games and more. Don't forget to stop into York's Wild Kingdom park while you visit! You're also walking distance to Long Sands beach as well, which offers more of a beach coast with some dining options as well. Both beaches offer first come fist serve meter parking. York Beach is a wonderful location as you're only one hour from Boston Mass or 45 minutes from Portland Maine. With so much to do and see you'll be planning your visit back to York Beach Maine before your vacation is over! We look forward to providing you with a 5 star experience for you and your guests!

Magnificent Cliff House

This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 8 adults. It was super clean, spacious and fully stocked with anything you may need. The best part of this home is the beautifully furnished wrap around porch overlooking the ocean. The views are spectacular from almost every room in the house. And the location!! A 5 minute walk to the village with many shops, restaurants/bars and fun stuff to do. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home or stay here again ourselves.

Couldn't Be Much Better

The best-positioned house in York Beach. It overlooks the ocean. It is a 2-minute walk to the one beach and a 12-minute walk to "Long Beach" A 10-minute walk to the town. The views are outstanding! 5 very comfortable bedrooms. Great open kitchen, a large bright sunroom, a relaxing fireplace living room. An.. enclosed porch with all the outdoor equipment you would ever need. You can't beat the full rap around porch with a 10-person table on one side and several high tables and chairs on the front ocean-view side. You have an enormous well-manicured front lawn that leads to the ocean road and to add the cherry there are four adirondak chairs on the bluff overlooking the ocean. Parking for three cars in the back end. This is a great place for a family reunion or a friend's retreat. There is only one and a half bathrooms but that did not create any problems and we were 8 adults. There is also an outdoor enclosed shower. A first-class BBQ and all the amenities needed. We had no issues!!!

Exceptional family vacation home

Perfect location for a family get away. The house itself is stunning, very clean and has all the amenities needed to enjoy the beach and spacious yard. Beautiful porch, deck chairs, and large family dining table under the covered portion of the deck. Looking forward to another stay.

Best family vacation

This property is everything it advertises and more! Parking is tight but we made it work. Dishwasher died which was not optimum but also pretty cool as we all took turns washing and drying. If anyone ever saw Big Chill, that was our amazing weekend with oh so special views. Highly reckoned!

Summer Getaway

The house is in a beautiful location overlooking short sands. We loved playing in the big yard and dining on the porch. The house is spacious and the bedroom setups were great. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the beach toys for the kids. We cannot wait to come back next summer. We made wonderful memories here.

Lovely stay

The deck, the location, the kitchen, the beds, the sun porch, where all as good as it gets. We loved being so close to Short Sands and enjoying the sunrise and sunset from the Adirondack chairs by the ocean. There was enough space for someone to read in the front living room while others could work on the puzzle in the kitchen nook and others could watch a movie in the back living room. Just delightful. We’ll be booking this again for sure.

Great place. Right on the ocean!

Beautiful location. Big, clean, spacious house with everything you need. Walking distance to the beach and coffee/grocery shops as well as restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and so clean!!

We stayed at this wonderful home July 1-8, and I was not expecting such an amazing Independence Day, with the fireworks barge out in the ocean in front of this home. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the show. This home had all we needed and more.

Perfect for families

This house was perfect for a long weekend getaway with our family. We had 5 adults and 7 children ranging in ages from 1-12 years old. There was plenty of space and then some for everyone. The check in process was very easy and parking was perfect for our two SUVs (though if you need additional parking I could see it being a challenge). The house had all the necessities: from linens and towels, to soap, toilet paper and laundry detergent. There was even some board games and lawn games along with some beach gear. Sadly it was cold and rainy the entire time we stayed and did not get to enjoy the beach but it was within walking distance and had a nice playground nearby. The downtown area was super cute and we checked out the zoo which was a hit amongst the kids. Checkout was straightforward and our host was very quick and responsive to any questions I had. We look forward to hopefully booking with them again in the future!

Incredible location And property!

We have been doing an annual beach house vacation with my extended family - and this year was by far our favorite. The house was huge, clean and perfectly situated with sweeping views of york beach and the ocean. If you’re considering this property, don’t hesitate! Perfection.

Great House and perfect location

This house is just as beautiful as the photos showed. Everything is well maintained and tastefully decorated. So much space! There were lots of dishes, spices, bowls, cookware etc. The location to beach and downtown was fantastic! The only negative I could find was that there is only one full bath with 6 bedrooms. We made it work as there were 7 of us ladies and we all got up at various times. Overall I’d absolutely stay here again! Great price for what you get!

Beautiful Property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. The view is beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is awesome, and the layout suitable for a large family. I would highly recommend it.

Loved the property! Perfect location.

Our group was 8 adults and 3 children ages 2-13. First time in MANY years all siblings and spouses plus children together. Cannot say enough about location and view. Spectacular. Five minutes walk to Short Sands. House is beautiful; impressive online but even better in person. LOVED the fact there were no rugs; made pickup and cleaning easy. Kitchen has basics. Towels and linens provided. There is one shower inside but outdoor shower is enclosed with hot/cold and no complaints from our group. The host thought of everything from beach equipment to some games my granddaughter discovered in a cabinet. The only area where people would need to plan...there is parking for 3 vehicles only. We worked it out, but that could be an issue for some multifamily groups. Working at renting this gem again. Chrissy B.

Family Vacation

Have a family vacation booked in September and wasn’t planning on another this year but I’m so glad we did. We loved it so much we hope to be back! Great family memories made just hanging on the porch, strolls to the beach and the front yard was perfect for outdoor games.

Family Beach Week at Short Sands

I rented this home for the 10-year anniversary of renting a beach home with my extended family where it all started in Short Sands Beach in Maine. The home was beautiful both inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped, and the home had plenty of extra room for my large family of 12. I would rent this home again and hope to do so in the future!

York Beach House

House was absolutely perfect. Had the most amazing oceanfront views. The company we worked with was very helpful and always got back with me very timely. House was very spacious and clean. All new appliances. We had the best time and made some wonderful memories!
