Perfect Location

The location is great! The apartment is a perfect size for a family. Dealing with the owners was very easy and they are very responsive. A few minor things that need improving but otherwise it was great and we would stay here again!

New York Stay

Our trip to New York was a blast. Our host was very nice and attentive throughout the whole stay. The loft was right in the middle of all NYC attractions, which was really convenient. It was a great fit for six guests. I recommend to anyone looking forward to visiting the big city!

Location was changed 1 day prior to trip

Due to plumbing issues sited by the owner, we did not stay at this property. Instead, we were put in a property that was possibly nicer but further away from all the things we wanted to do, which resulted in extra costs with the subway and an uber from the train station.It is difficult to post an accurate review of the place because of these conditions, but overall our stay was pleasant. The new location had some issues: the bottom drawer in the kitchen was broken, the door on the bathroom was glass and see through, and the lock for the door was loose. There was construction happening to a place above us, so there was a lot of noise (but that was expected from NYC) and at one point they turned off the power to the unit and I had to ask the workers to turn it back on.

Pleasant, clean stay, handy location! Recommended

We were happy with the location (within walking distance of most sights and close to public transport for those a little further away). Plenty of places to eat, snack or grab essentials near by. Apartment at the top of three sets of stairs which was fine for us but perhaps tricky for eldery or very young. Apartment was neat and tidy.The initial access was tricky due to lock being frozen (suggest they move the lock box to by the apartment door like apartments next door and use antifreeze box). Day 2 we had a power outage and we were moved to downstairs apartment for one night and then moved back (sadly my son lost his new airpods in this move around and they weren't found after inquiring). Frequent communication during this time which was good but almost got too much as we were there to holiday and be out and about not mess around with sets of keys, faulty lock boxes, repeat messages and ensuring handyman had access. Overall, too much communication is better than not enough.I would suggest that the couch not be advertised as a bed solution as it is not a pull out couch so my teen was a little cramped and perhaps have consumables available for showering as people travelling from overseas etc may not have this.We would recommend and/or stay again if in NYC. Thank you

Amazing location + lots of space.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Torya's property in Midtown West near Hudson Yards, and as the title says, the location is the star here. If you're looking for a spot 10 - 15 minutes walking distance from Times Square, Bryant Park, Madison Square Garden, Macy's, or Koreatown, this is it. And we all know how difficult it is to find a place with three bedrooms fit for larger family or traveling party in the heart of Manhattan. Also, we enjoyed the little street this apartment is on and found a favorite coffee shop, pizza place and wine store steps away. Also the subway stop is a quick 6 - 8 minute walk away. The cons (just a few, and they are minor): -Be aware that this unit is on the top floor and will require a walking three to four flights up. That wasn't an issue for our family. -The place doesn't really have the homey or "lived in" feel you might find elsewhere. No little instructions about using the coffee machine, etc. -There weren't enough towels (no hand towels or wash cloths, just a bath towel for every person). Once again, not a huge deal. We made a toilet paper, paper towel run at nearby Target. Bottom-line, our family of 6 spent Thanksgiving in Manhattan and it would've cost us thousands upon thousands more to try to all fit in a hotel. I'm grateful we found this gem.

Great location. Shame about the noise and heating

To find a 3 bedroom vacation house in Manhattan is hard to find let alone at a good price. This property ticked those boxes. The location was very good. Only a 10-20 minute walk from most popular things. That's the good part.The not so good parts are as follows. The noise from the street. The standard honking of the car horns is very loud but they are nothing compared to the fire engines coming down the street with their sirens blasting. Two bedrooms are street front and the noise is ridiculous while trying to sleep at night. This would happen several times a night.One of the other apartments controls the heating. It was cold. We tried turning up the heating but we could not. There are one or two small fan heaters to use but they didn't do much. The kitchen is very small, but it's a kitchen and it works fine. The heat pump in the bedroom by the kitchen smelled like fish so we couldn't use it. There were no smoke alarms. There are a lot of stairs to reach the apartment. Fine if you are fit but if you are not then you will struggle.Curtain rails fell down when pulling them. We had 6 towels for 5 guests with nowhere to hang or dry them.They have done very well with the photos in the advertisement but they don't quite match up with the property. Everything you see in the photos is there. I was struggling to see what was renovated though.So if you are on a budget and don't mind noise, book this place. Just don't expect too much else.
