Cozy brick duplex with fenced in shared yard in Denverâs walkable Berkeley neighborhood. The best of both worlds: a quiet, peaceful retreat in a vibrant urban setting with access to cafes and shops just blocks away. Ideal for solo travelers or couples looking for a staycation or remote work setup but also the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. Backyard has a grill and fire pit. Each room has AC unit except the bathroom and laundry room. Master bedroom AC has a quiet mode.
The host was great! Very communicative. We appreciated the living spaces and were overall very happy with our stay. The kitchen and living spaces are set up for comfort. We felt at home in every room. Small things to consider before booking: 1. The hot water doesn't last. Long showers are not a possibility. 2. The Chromecast devices aren't reliable and/or are missing remotes. Bring your own devices for casting (or HDMI plug-in).Our pup unfortunately didn't make it with us on this trip, however we know she would have been happy and comfortable as well. --Lots of items for the pets! (beds, dishes, etc)--It's easy for me to highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We would consider staying here again if we ended up in this area in the future.
Iâm originally from New England and grew up in a home built in the 1740s. I have a passion for historic preservation, architecture and design, and urban planning. In my free time I enjoy traveling and living an active life - biking, hiking, skiing snowboarding and climbing.
There is not only a small business enclave 2 blocks away but a larger business district (Tennyson st) 6 blocks away. The neighborhood is very walkable and less than a block from a park yet an easy drive to the mountains and other attractions Denver has to offer.
As a landscape architect and designer I take pride in both the inside and outside of my property. The indoor space is full of plants and artwork, and the outdoor space consists of low water use native plants and a cozy fire pit and grill area.
