My husband and I went to Bar Harbor for our honeymoon, and this was the perfect location! Close to the town and the national park, we had a blast! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)
This was a wonderful house, with everything you need to stay a few day (kitchen well stocked, enough room for my family of 3). I canât state enough how wonderful the location is to downtown. All downtown attractions were a 10 minute walk away. Would stay again!
What wonderful place to stay! Itâs close to everything but far enough away that itâs quiet. My friend and I were extremely pleased with our accommodations and recommend it highly.
Good spot for a couple, or a family with a child or two. Quiet side street close to center of town, but also with easy access to the National Park - for which the hosts provided a complimentary access pass.
Great place to stay in Bar Harbor and so close to Acadia
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental. Their home had everything we needed. It was clean, well-stocked and within walking distance to the heart of Bar Harbor. Acadia is a beautiful national park. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.
Great location. Itâs a ten-minute walk downtown and a five-minute drive to Acadia NP. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host left us a park pass to Acadia which we used everyday hiking. Very nice stay.
Priced well. Fans were much needed due to the heat! Location was great for all activities and dining. We enjoyed kayaking, trail riding with bikes, lobster boating, and walking. Drove around the island on rainy day!
The property had everything we needed for our stay in Bar Harbor. We loved being able to walk lto town, and appreciated the quiet neighborhood. Having a washing machine on site was a plus. It was cool during our stay so we didnât need AC, and there are fans provided. We would stay here again!
This home was a great location to both Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was a very safe neighborhood and I felt comfortable staying here with my husband and 2 year old son. The kitchen had everything I needed to make several meals at home and the large living room provided a nice space to relax after busy days. The hosts generously provided a park pass for the week, which was very appreciated. The home was very clean!
We loved the location of this home. Itâs about a 12 minute walk to main street. Parking is quite difficult on and near Main Street and is $4 an hour. People were parked all the way back to Eden Street so staying in town is a must. Itâs also very close to Acadia National Park as well. The home had everything that we needed and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this home!
Great location and walking distance to shopping, great restaurants and bars, harbor, grocery store (for toilet paper-1.5 rolls provided, garbage bags-1 provided, etc.) We were 4 adults sharing the space and only spent the evenings at the cottage. Limited TV stations (not a smart tv) but we were able to use an HDMI cord from the bedroom to connect our computer and tv subscription to main TV. We enjoyed our stay and loved the atmosphere in Bar Harbor, people were very friendly!
Excellent location! Cottage was nicely situated for walking to grocery store and downtown Bar Harbor. Only drawback was it was small, especially if there were more than two people. We cooked a lot and the oven was not user friendly. Thankfully, there was a toaster oven that we used instead. There were plenty of pots and pans and other utensils.
This bungalow is perfectly nestled away on a side street with no more than a 12 minute walk to everywhere in Bar Harbor. It has all the basics and is a great place to land whilst spending the days exploring the island. We were traveling with our 1 year old and we felt comfortable with her in the house and the area. I would recommend for a couple or small family!
Perfect location. We walked to town, grocery store, and some attractions. Easy drive to park. It was so nice to have Acadia National Park pass included. Plenty of storage in kitchen and rooms. Good fans which we used on hotter days. Good, speedy communication. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, and blanket. So nice to have washer and drying rack. Clothes dried quickly outside in sun. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks!
The location of this property was perfect to bar harbor and Acadia national park. Everything was very walkable, to restaurants and bars and shops. We also were able to walk to rent bicycles from the house. We were able to ride into Acadia national park. The carriage trails were perfect, no vehicle traffic. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. The only downside was there is no clothes dryer, just a washer. So if youâre planning on washing clothes after hiking, do it early, so it has enough time to air dry before you need them again.
