Our family has called Northern Virginia home for over 25 years. Weâve always loved water sports, fishing, and swimming, and Lake Anna has become our perfect getaway. It's a peaceful, unspoiled haven surrounded by nature, far from the crowds that often overrun other lakes. We hope youâll experience the same serenity and enjoyment during your stay.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Last year, our family embarked on a search for the perfect lake home, and we had a clear vision in mind. We love everything about the lakeâboating, swimming, and, of course, log housesâso finding a place that combined all of these was our goal. We dreamed of having our own boathouse to avoid the hassle of using public boat ramps and loading the boat onto a trailer every time.
After looking at many properties, we finally found the oneâa stunning log home on an ideal piece of lakefront land. It wasn't easy to find, as we had specific requirements: a sandy, gently sloping swim area for the kids, a deep-water dock and boathouse for easy boat access, and a gorgeous view of the lake from the house so we could watch all the fun on the water. Capturing those moments from the comfort of our home was important to us.
The moment we stepped into the backyard, with its breathtaking lake view and the beautiful log house standing behind us, we knew we had found something special. The house itself checked all our boxes: five spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, ensuring everyone had their own space. The blend of rustic charm and refined comfort made it the perfect fit for our family. We couldn't be more thrilled to call this place home!

The wall of windows in the great room allow anyone who hasn't gone out in the boat to have a panoramic scenic view of the lake and family enjoying it. The sunset is lovely from this location. Our home has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It is warm, inviting, solid and certainly more sustainable than conventional housing on the lake. If it could talk, each log would have a story to tell and it would be delighted to welcome you in.
