Beautiful home located on the public side of Lake Anna, mid-lake location, south of 208 bridge (NO HAB!). Home has over 100' of shoreline with a new boathouse to tie up your boat on deep water (12-15'). Perfect for the kids to run and jump off the dock or float lazily around the no-wake cove. Comes with paddle boards and kayak for exploring the lake. Home sits on 1 acre in a wooded neighborhood, with the public boat put-in down the road (annual boat launch pass at local marina). House has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, fully stocked kitchen and screened-in porch to relax and unwind. House has large fire pit area for relaxing nights after a day on the lake. House has high speed internet and smart TVs so you can log into all your favorite shows and movies. House has electronic dart board and games for non-water fun. Located just around the corner from the 208 bridge, 5 mins from Food Lion! Whether you're looking for a tranquil retreat or an enjoyable getaway, Laid Back at Lake Anna has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. PLEASE NOTE: Home has outside security ring cameras. Louisa county has limits on guests for STRs based on septic system. The home can accommodate 9 guests maximum with no gatherings or parties allowed per county code. Violations will result in additional charges of $100 per person per day.

Amazing Lake Trip

We have stayed at Lake Anna several times, each time it has been with a different group and we have tried various properties. This was by far the best stocked! Brand new, amazingly clean, excellent facilities. Would love to make this our only stay location in the future!

Laid Back at Lake Anna could not have been a better experience for my family (Ages 4-69)! We especially enjoyed floating in the quiet cove and being able to keep our boat safely docked on the dock. The home was spacious, clean and well equipped! We loved everything about this home and hope to be able to return some day!

Beautiful home and every small detail is thought of. Owners are very responsive and friendly. Smoke alarm was going off and they offered to drive 2 hours to fix it. Very accommodating!!

We wanted a place near our son’s wedding venue & close to where they were staying. The place turned out to be more spectacular than described. The inside was spacious & very clean. Loved the kitchen, screened in patio, the downstairs was great with activities if wanting to hang out there (darts, tic-tac-toe). My mother-in-law loved the pier -back yard (just loves being on water). Communication with our host was great! The wedding was beautiful.

Picture Perfect on Lake Anna

We had a lovely and memorable weekend at this beautiful home! We can’t say enough wonderful things about the owners, the home and its location. Everything was exactly as presented in the photos and then some. We enjoyed days on the dock fishing, swimming, kayaking and on the stand-up paddle boards. Evenings around the campfire with s’mores were a hit with adults and kids alike. We would absolutely recommend this fabulous home for your stay on Lake Anna and we look forward to returning ourselves!

Pictures don’t do this property justice! Everything is beautiful and brand new. The kitchen is well-stocked. The basement is perfect for a movie night. The backyard fire pit is perfect for smores. There’s also a private deck where our chartered boat came and picked us up from for the day. So cool and so fun!

Week at the lake

Our family of 6 - including 4 hard to impress teens - loved our stay at Laid Back at Lake Anna! The house is gorgeous, spacious enough for us all to have our own spots when relaxing, and plenty to do! The kayaks and fishing dock were a hit. And we rented a boat for some water skiing! The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and easy! We will definitely be back!!

Exceptional Lake House Stay!We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was thoughtfully designed and exceptionally maintained. The layout of the house was perfect—spacious, functional, and ideal for both relaxing and gathering with family or friends.The furnishings were very comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home right away. The house was also extremely well appointed—everything we needed was there, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets. It was spotless when we arrived, which we really appreciated.The location couldn’t have been better. Nestled in a quiet cove just off the main lake, it offered the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to the water. We enjoyed swimming, relaxing on the dock, and taking in the serene views.Communication with the owners was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.Overall, this was one of the best Vrbo experiences we've had, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

Perfect Place Makes a Perfect Vacation

I can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful property. The owners had wonderful communication, recommendations, prompt and thought-out responses to questions when asked, and care for us as renters to have a seamless experience! The lake house itself had absolutely everything you could need and more! Decorated in a gorgeous and clean modern style…..so many things like a nice upgraded coffee maker, tiny nightlights in all of the rooms, all essentials for the lake, a fire pit with comfortable chairs, all kitchen needs, great doc for jumping, sipping & socializing in rafts, grill for family dinners, soft bedding and blankets everywhere, screened in porch, outdoor patio…and much more! This lake house was the best way to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary! Ages ranged from 7 to 70, and not one negative thing to say! I’d stay here again! Thank you to the owners for a wonderful experience.

Week at the Lake

We recently spent a week at this lake house with my family including grandparents and uncles. We have three kids 2-6 and it was perfect. The house is new and very well taken care of. Plenty of amenities and high tech options. Kara, the owner, was very accommodating and quick with correspondence and troubleshooting. The house has many areas for a large group to still have their own spaces. This is great for those lazy mornings to sleep in but not be disturbed. The screened in deck was a highlight. We spent many mornings and evenings “bug free” in this area. The owners have offered many items of comfort including linens, towels, beach towels and toiletries including sunscreen and bug spray. The water was very warm but be prepared with water shoes. The dock area is nice and shallow perfect for swimming. There is a no wake zone which is very nice as well with kids. Next to the dock was a fire pit and sand area for kids. We spent many hours down there as well. Our family enjoyed watching herons, ospreys, eagles, deer and squirrels on the property. Less than a mile down the road we were able to take the kids to a nice playground. The State Park was 11 minutes away. Overall this was a wonderful location for a family or group of many ages. There is one set of steep steps but wide and easily managed. I highly recommend this lake house for vacation and the owners should be very proud of the property they created.

We had such an amazing weekend at Laid Back at Lake Anna. The home is beautiful and is incredibly peaceful...such a serene, relaxing setting with beautiful water views.The layout is perfect for a family, with plenty of space to spread out between the family room, screened-in porch, and large finished basement (the dart board was a big hit). The outdoor space is just as wonderful, with a great dock and a fire pit area with plenty of seating...ideal for unwinding (and s'mores) after a day on the lake.Our 14-year-old son fished nonstop from the dock and kayak, while our daughter happily alternated between soaking up the sun and reading on the porch. I loved being able to cook all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen...everything you could possibly need is there, and Food Lion is less than 10 minutes away.I also enjoyed long walks around the quiet neighborhood and some paddle boarding. This was truly such a calm, serene place to recharge.Most importantly, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything seamless.We will absolutely come back!
