Great place to stay for a family - walkable & plenty of space
The place was easy to find, large enough for our family of 4, allowed us to cook some meals in, we did some laundry in the washing machine (had to air dry clothes), and location was walkable to make great sights and grocery markets. It was more of a business area so the streets were quieter but not many restaurants or shops around - about a 10-15 minute walk to many shops though. There are some cafes right next door. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place as a great place to stay!
Unfortunately, this apartment is a tremendous disappointment. Where to begin? The building address does not match with the actual building location. Why would you do that? The apartment, for the amount of money you are charging, is absolutely not worth it! Motel 6 provides a much better lodging option! Americans will know what this means! The lower section of this apartment is a cave! Pretty cool, right? No, actually it was an awful cave filled with mold, a portable shower (yes, portable!) that leaked during each use, no A/C or fan so moldy air is stagnant. The toilet has no privacy door! We were told that the Sauna would be operational on the following day. Not that I planned on using a sauna when the air temperature was 30c. But your word should mean something! The property guy never came back! The street section of this unit is hot and noisy! Again no fan or A/C. But it gets worse! The spare bedsheets were stained (possibly blood stains!) and the sofa bed is a hard mattress. After we finally found the building, we were surprised with wet paint and a construction project in the lobby of the building. This unit is the 1st one after the lobby! We had to deal with the fumes of the wet paint and the ridiculously loud construction work at 7 am each day. The internet never worked. Don't fall for it, go somewhere else. We fell for the location, but you can absolutely find much better options just a mile away on either side of the river!
