Bring the whole family to this spacious beach house with lots of room for fun with accommodations for 20+ guests and is located right across from the beach and just 5 minutes from the village and Legoland...the kitchen has every amenity you could ask for.The home also has plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards for a relaxing day at the beach.The huge roof deck has a bbq and jacuzzi and the sunsets are amazing! Another great feature is the elevator that can reach all 3 floors plus the roof deck.

There are 5 bedrooms plus a theater room with 2 bunk beds...4 of the bedrooms have king sized beds and 1 has a queen...all of them but 1 has an en-suite bathroom....2 of the bedrooms have an ocean view.The bedrooms all have a wall mounted smart tv.

I do allow 1 dog 25lbs or under for an additional $500 fee....please only potty trained dogs.

We were in town for a soccer tournament and 6 parents and 6 teen girls shared this house. The house was amazing, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The rooftop deck was definitely a favorite - beautiful ocean view with a hot tub, what could be better. Walking distance to the beach, and we made use of both the chairs and beach toys that were provided. We had a few questions for the host, and he answered them all in a timely fashion. Definitely on our list to stay here again!

Beautiful home in a stunning location! I stayed here with some colleagues for a leadership retreat and it was perfect. We all had our own space, and the features of the house really made it a great space for a team building couple of days. From rooftop fire pit discussions, to a game of pool, there were so many opportunities to connect and engage. Would definitely stay here again!

This house was a perfect venue for my family birthday weekend. Unfortunately we had to deal with a bad water leak into the kitchen from the upstairs most of the weekend. The owner was responsive until I asked for a partial 20% credit, then silence and the leak was not fixed.

Awesome home!

Had a great time at this house with my son and 10 of his friends for their graduation trip. The location is awesome! The rooftop deck was a great place to gather! Rex was a great host and responded quickly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great house in good but noisy location.

Enjoyed our stay in this roomy house with lots of amenities. The location in Carlsbad was fine, but be aware the street noise is constant during the day. The rooftop patio was great and the elevator was very helpful. Note: the online floor plan is missing the upper floor with the master bedroom.

Sorry I have no control over the traffic…kinda petty considering the house was a total mess with food and stains all over the beds and a shower that took my cleaners 45 min to clean.

In the 5 years I’ve been hosting I’ve never heard a complaint about the bathrooms.If your referring to one of the toilet seats being broken that happened from the guests before you and it was a back to back booking so I had no time to fix it…This is coming from guests that moved an entire couch and nightstand to the other side of the room and didn’t put them back.They also left their trash all over the house and the refrigerator full of old food and drinks 👍 I’ll take your ridiculous review with a grain of salt.There will always be guests that have to complain about something and their usually the most messy,disgusting ones.

Great property! Awesome location. Very well equipped. Lots of local restaurants and easy/quality dining. Carpets need a thorough vacuuming. Several toilets ran. Bidet didn’t work. Everything was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Incredible property right at the beach, and steps away from major downtown restaurants. Really clean and well maintained, super easy to check in and out. Unforgettable sunset view from a rooftop, highly recommended for everyone to stay here and if you do - you will never forget! Incredible place!

More than you could imagine

Everything about this property is impressive. There are minor signs of wear, but the location, amenities and esthetics are a class act. This property is perfect for any chic occassion or just the most epic summer vacation spot. The views from every balcony, landing and the roof are world class... The owner was very respinsive. I highly recommend this property. The price in the winter is a steal!

Our son’s wedding weeekend

We had the best weekend at this beautiful home right by the beach! Rex was easily accessible during our whole stay and quick to answer any questions we had. The home is exactly as the pictures show. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect for enjoying Carlsbad Village and also for hosting the groomsmen as they got ready for our son’s wedding. We absolutely loved this home and will definitely rent it again if we need a place to accommodate a larger group.

Amazing oceanfront property

We stayed at this amazing home for four nights as we were in the area for a family wedding. The house was amazing and just as described the photos on the listing don’t do it justice. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. Location is prime oceanfront Carlsbad. It was very centrally located for our wedding events at the Westin as well as the ocean, fun, restaurants, and was only 30 minutes from San Diego airport.Our host was very responsive and responded to any request or concerns. He was even gracious enough to let us back into the house the next day as we had left something in one of our rooms.The rooftop deck is also amazing with excellent views and multiple gas fire pits. It is a great house to hang out and relax or any occasion! Would definitely rent here again if in the area.

Wedding weekend

Was in town for a wedding, my family of 6 plus my mom……. Brother and wife came down for a bbq as well…… amazing house… rooftop views worth every penny. The bedrooms spaced out between floors made a huge house seem even bigger. Kids thought the elevator was the coolest thing ever. Movie night downstairs was perfect. Had a question on how to work the tv and Rex responded to a text in 3 minutes walking me through it. Will for sure rent again next time we are in SoCal.

Great location, clean, & spacious!

I stayed at this rental for a week and it exceeded my expectations. The first thing I noticed was how clean and spacious everything was. There was plenty of room everywhere in the house and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there were beach chairs and boogie boards that we could take to the beach. For a couple of nights we wanted to eat out so we looked up places in the area. There were many different restaurants and shopping centers near by so it was very convienient. Overall it was a great getaway and I highly recommended staying here, you won’t regret it.

Amazing ocean views!

The house was very clean and organized.I came with a group of 11 and there was more then enough room for all of us.The place is huge.The views are amazing.We used the provided boogy boards and beach chairs at the beach and were there all day.There were a lot of good restaurants within a few miles and the weather cant be beat.We couldnt figure out 1 of the tv remotes but the Seabreeze place that manages the house got back to us right away and helped us.I would definitely recommend this home.We will be coming back next year.

Difficult Stay

The property itself was beautiful, but we stumbled upon issues almost as soon as we arrived. It was 85 degrees in the upstairs part of the house, but the owner has the A/C locked so that you cannot adjust the temperature below 72 degrees, so it kept kicking off because the downstairs levels were cooler. We also discovered many broken/partially broken appliances (dishwasher, water dispenser, ceiling fans, trash compactor, pinball machine to name a few) and after opening the windows, discovered that the levers on most were broken, so we had to climb around in the dark to manually push them shut from the outside. The toilet in the master bathroom began flushing over and over again. Rex, the owner, was very responsive, but admitted that prior guests had the same complaint. The next alarming issue began when it began to rain and water began pouring in through the living room ceiling. Again, Rex was very responsive (but admitted that it's a problem that's happened before... that he hasn't fixed??). In the meantime, tons of minor problems (not enough TP, very few bath towels, no bathmats or kitchen towels at all) that I was prepared to let go of... until 3/9 of us woke up covered in awful bites. I reached out to Rex to let him I know I suspected he has bed bugs and received a terrifying note in response full of name-calling, saying he's intentionally ruined my VRBO rating, and is going to come after me in real life. It was unhinged and scary and you should never stay here.

This guest is a scammer and a liar.She clearly had an agenda from the moment she checked in complaining about nonexistent issues.She first said a toilet kept making noise after flushing until I told her to just hold down the handle longer in which that solved the problem,her next issue was a very small amount of water was coming through the top of a door in which she didn’t even bother to lay down a towel…The thermostat works fine and will adjust to 69…..the other things she mentioned are complete fabrications as everything is in perfect working order…she never mentioned them and they simply aren’t true…the big one was several days after she checked out she drops a bomb on me saying all her quests including herself were badly bitten by bed bugs.I was not that shocked since I knew this guest was up to something.I told her I would get a pest inspector out to investigate.I had 2 different inspectors throughly check every bed,piece of furniture and baseboard in the home and they found nothing! This guest had nothing but positive things to say prior to this but all of a sudden she’s asking for a refund and also insinuating she would post a negative review if she didn’t get it…well the blackmailing didn’t work on me…She showed no proof of any bed bugs or drs notes or anything.She even said she had to throw away all of her expensive luggage lol….She is clearly a scammer looking to get out of paying for her stay.I have been renting my house for over 4 years and have never been accused of having bed bugs…it’s interesting that the 8 guests before her and 13 right after her had no issues.I would also think if the stay was so horrible she would have immediately contacted VRBO and told them she wants a refund and would want to check out early? She actually told me they all had a great time.I guess this is part of being a host….there will always be some people that want something for nothing.

The house is massive, with room for everyone and a few guests. We spent the majority of our time either in the kitchen or on the rooftop. The beach is right across the street, and you can walk in either direction. This is a special property that is ideal for special occasions.

Breathtaking Beachhouse

Absolutely stunning property , breathtaking views ! The swing on the roof top was a favorite spot ! Every room was immaculate , plenty of rooms for large groups. The decor was trendy and modern. Steps away from the beach and Restraunts . This is definitely one to go back too.

What’s not to love about living across from the ocean? The weather in Carlsbad is perfect year round and there’s so much to see and do.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

My house is 4 levels and has views of the ocean from almost every room.There is a huge roof deck with a jacuzzi,bbq and swing that overlooks the ocean and sunsets.There is also an elevator that goes to all 4 floors.
