Black Bear Retreat-Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, Game Room

The Black Bear Retreat is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the covered back deck looking out into the tranquil forest. You will make memories around the camp fire, relaxing in the hot tub, reading a good book in the hammocks swings or playing games with the family. Many laughs will be had with the variety of board games, the karaoke machine and playing a round of poker. The kiddos will love the kid camp in the loft and the arcade machines in the game room. From the moment you walk into this cozy well equipped cabin, you will feel right at home with the open concept livingroom, kitchen and dining room. The mainfloor also offers a cozy guest room with a queen bed, a seperate full guest bath and a master suite with a kingbed, a private bath and walk in closet. Both bedrooms have Roku TVs. There is a washer and dryer in the hall closet (detergent provided). Upstairs in the open loft area, the kiddos will find hours of entertainment in the "Black Bear Cub Camp" They can build a "fire", roast "marshmallows," have a picnic with the forest themes stuffed animals friends, fish, and read the Michigan themed kids books. There are also two queen beds and a cozy sitting area. The walkout basement is full of entertainment! There is wall Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four, oversized Jenga, ring toss and Karaoke! The family room has a large poker table arcade machine and electronic pinball. Enjoy a movie in comfortable reclining seating on the 65in Roku TV. There is another master suite complete with a king sized bed, private bath and walk in closet. This bedroom has a designated work desk. Relax and enjoy the outdoors on either covered deck/patio! The upstairs patio has comfortable cushioned seating with a couch and four rocking chairs. The downstairs patio has two glider-rockers and is the designated smoking area. If you love spending time outdoors, you will have a blast playing corn hole, ladderball and bocce ball! If relaxing is more your style, enjoy a book in the hammock swings under the hot tub pavilion or soak in the new eight-person hot tub. Make memories around outdoor the fire pit with our comfy adirondack chairs. We do provide firewood and roasting sticks! I can be reached by text or phone. This home come with baseboard heat and each room has its own heating control. There is not central air, but we do have a portable air conditioning unit on the mainfloor. Each bedroom has both a tower fan and window fan unit. We do have two locked storage rooms in the basement and there are two locked storage closets in the loft. The garage is not available for guest use. We have a max of only two dogs allowed per stay. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pets both inside and out. No smoking in the home or on the covered upper deck. There is a designated smoking area on the covered lower patio. Please use the ashtrays provided. The indoor woodstove is not available for guest use.
