Other Things to Note:
At our property, we have policies in place to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all our guests:
- We strictly enforce quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Outdoor music is not permitted after 10 pm, and we kindly ask that you keep outdoor noise to a minimum during these hours.
- Smoking is not allowed on the premises.
- Pets are allowed with written permission only, with a maximum of 1 dog and a The Pet Fee is Non-Refundable and is $175.39 (taxes included) per stay. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 penalty.
- The primary guest (booker) must be at least 25 years old at the time of booking. Additionally, a guest aged 25 or older must be present at the property throughout the entire stay.
- The swimming pool can be heated at an additional cost. Please contact us to arrange heating, and do not attempt to heat the pool on your own. To avoid extra fines, please refrain from using glass tableware or bottles near the pool, and rinse off any sunscreen before entering the water.
- For your safety, exterior security cameras are installed around the property, but none of them face inside the house or look into interior spaces.

Gorgeous property, easy check-in process. Kitchen was well stocked with everyday items for cooking. Tons of things for everyone to do from adults to kids. We enjoyed all the amenities the place had to offer.We did have issues with the jet ski and boat lifts, however, the guest services team is excellent and they did everything they could to have them repaired while we were there.

Our group has been going on retreats once a year for more than ten years, and we've experienced a wide range of properties. Many of these properties looked great in the listings but didn't quite live up to expectations once we arrived. We've encountered all sorts of minor issues, from loud A/C units and noisy surroundings to shaky beds and awkward layouts.However, The High Life was a fantastic exception. It lived up to the listings in every way and exceeded our expectations. This was the first time that all four families, including the kids, were completely satisfied – which, trust me, is no easy feat! The convenience of each room having its own bathroom was a huge plus for everyone, and the king-size beds made the stay very comfortable for all the adults. The kids absolutely loved the water slide and pools, while the adults couldn't get enough of the hot tub.With a group of 13 people, it was a pleasant surprise that we all had a seat at the dinner table for the very first time. We also had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our various activities. Although there was an issue with noise from the neighboring property, the host quickly resolved it, which we greatly appreciated.Our only recommendation would be to provide more life jackets. There were only two adult and one kid life jacket provided. Having a few more on hand would offer additional peace of mind.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back.

Property was better than advertised. It is very modern, clean, and has a new home feel with fantastic views of Lake LBJ. It was perfect for our family gathering of 10. There is a MBR on the 2nd floor and 3 BR with their own bathrooms and a bunkroom with 10-12 bunks for the kids and its own bathroom on the 3rd floor. I think you could easily sleep 20 with the bunkroom and several of the BR's had built in bunks as well.The 3rd floor has a pool table, shuffleboard, and a video game that the kids used every night. Ping pong table on the first floor. TV's in every bedroom and in the living room/kitchen area as well as in the "outside" area on the first floor. The covered outside area on the first floor was great with plenty of space to sit and lounge and watch the World Cup. There is an elevator too!!!The views from the 2nd floor deck are as advertised and great for coffee in the am and drinks in the pm. The kitchen appliances are all modern, 2 refrigerators, double oven, microwave, 2 dishwashers, and a washer and dryer. There is a large pantry that allowed us to bring supplies and make great homemade meals. The pool and hot tub are awesome, and we used them night and day. The dock was perfect for jet skis with 2 lifts and there was a boat lift as well.The management company, Horseshoe Bay Living, was fantastic and very responsive to any questions and resolved any issues quickly.We would definitely recommend this property and are looking at coming back in 2027. Beautiful property, minor problems,dryer repeatedly tripped the breaker after short run time, none of ice machines functioned properly,latch on upper dockside deck broken, safety issue for young children,hot tub repeatedly dropped below operating level,when we did not receive our check in instruction we contacted your help line and had very difficult time in communicating with your agent, after many attempt to communicate our e-mail address we were finally able to get the door code and other information.
