Location is the best part of this rental. Just 2 blocks to Times Square. Loved: The old world charm of apartments. Didn’t Love:No sense of hospitality, not having a kitchen shouldn’t stop you from providing elevated coffee bar experience.

The beds were comfy. The sink would not drain so we had to use the bath faucet instead. Four towels were provided, another couple would have been nice. The location was wonderful and highlight of our stay. We will be back, thank you NYC!

Pictures were misleading. The couch was NOT a bed anyone can sleep on. No extra sheets. Asked for some and told they were in closet... they were not. Other bedroom could barely fit 2 people. Having 5 was tight.

The location was perfect. The apartment was very clean and the beds are so very comfortable. The host is great with communication. We had the most wonderful time in New York City. We would stay at the apartment again if we should ever have the chance to visit again. I highly recommend this residence.

It was a great location, we felt safe and secure there, excellent that it was right near everything: bagels, right around the corner, and right down the street from the theater. Check in was easy. Con’s: needs a new living room couch.

There needs to be someone who can respond to a question. I was stuck there because of the blizzard, so ASAP I was inquiring whether we could extend or not but we had checkout the next day. Didn’t hear back until we had already left and had to find a hotel nearby.

This was a beautiful place to stay in a perfect spot in the city. The charm of the historic building was very nice. The views from the apartment were great as well. It is so close to many of the NYC favorites. We will definitely be back!

I think this listing has the potential to be excellent for the price and location, especially being in the heart of NYC. But I also feel the owner would benefit from addressing some of the consistent concerns that guests have mentioned repeatedly in reviews, many of which I had read before arriving.For example, when guests mention broken window blinds that let excessive sunlight into the room, or point out that the sofa is uncomfortable and not really usable, those are issues worth fixing. Even small investments and basic upkeep would make a noticeable difference to the overall experience.Another recurring complaint mentioned by previous guests was the bathroom sink clogging, and unfortunately we experienced that as well. That said, to their credit, when I called about it one evening, it had been fixed by the time we returned from our excursion the next day. I do think kudos are deserved for responding promptly once the issue was reported.My family and I still enjoyed aspects of our stay, and we understand that value accommodations come with trade-offs. At the same time, vacations are something people spend limited time and money on, so basic comfort and upkeep matter.

The location was amazing! Loved the 2 bedrooms and living area.Communication was challenging with host. Lost electricity in part of the apartment, lost hot water which turned out to be total building issue. They were fixed by the afternoon.

Wonderful location within walking distance of many great attractions! Felt safe and secure. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive to any questions. Beds are comfortable and clean. Very uncomfortable seating in main living area, particularly the couch. Air conditioning units in each bedroom kept the apartment plenty cool. Overall the location makes the apartment.
