Great week at the beach!

It’s on the pier side of the sea cabins, which was a huge plus for us as well!

April Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in 106A, but prefer our regular unit 102A that wasn’t available. Nothing major wrong but a sizable roach shared the unit and kitchen flatware was minimal. Basically had a great week & will be back in three weeks.

Great location! Everything within walking distance.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place we rented 116 A was over priced for what it is. The couch is worn out and to low. The rug in front of the couch was nasty with a big red stain on it. The queen bed did sleep well. It needs to be updated! For the price I paid to stay there 2 nights was too much.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great location, right on the beach, great views. But the furniture was worn out, uncomfortable and dirty looking. We covered the sofa with a sheet before using it. The bed was ok but it was definitely a full, not a queen. I think it's time for updates.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback, this is a great little condo owned by wonderful people! In reference to that corner you mentioned over the fridge, by the vent, that does collect some dust due to the popcorn hopes are to scrape the popcorn and have smooth ceiling in the very near future. Also, we have scheduled a deep clean for this condo next week (mid-April) to address the few items you mentioned as well as several other seasonal to do's that we address prior to summer season! Thank you!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering the unit it appeared fairly clean, yet very small. My son and I came the first night and the other half of our party showed up the next day so we were extremely disappointed to find the bunk bedding dirty, and the sofa bed mattress to be covered in dirt, crumbs, yellow stains, and white mildew under the mattress. My teen ended up sleeping on the couch with sheets over the couch cushions and a towel as a blanket because the linens were thick heavy blankets. The unit doesn’t have an ice maker and had a teeny single ice tray for a unit that sleeps 4 and is oceanfront with no ice maker on site anywhere else. Sometimes it’s smaller details not always recognized by management that really make it a nice stay. It was a great location and enjoyed the surroundings and property as a whole.

Never Again

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will never stay in this unit again. It was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed and was not worth the money we had to pay. The sofa is filthy and needs replacing badly. The rugs in the entry and LR were so dirty that the seat of the kids pajamas were dirty when they played in the floor. The mattress also needs to be replaced. Never will I stay in this unit again. The owners need to do some upgrades or stop renting it to people. Also, we had no water for almost 4 hrs. one afternoon. Coming in from the beach expecting to get a good shower and no water. Not good. I would think Island Realty would not want to be a part of this unit.

Sea Cabin 106A 11-2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We generally go to the isle of palm, once a year for fishing, the property is very convenient to what we expect from a location with a private pier, which makes it very convenient for us. The amenities included in the property allow us to stay in and cook every night. however the cookware is very outdated, and it was difficult to find matching lids to any of the pots which are old. With that said, the property has basic needs, our biggest complaint is that it is not ADA compliant. My wife has a disability, and it makes it very difficult to climb stairs, and everything in this property has stairs, to your room on the first floor, to the pier, to the beach, And the restrooms by the pool. At the very least, we would love to see a ramp to the pier, which would make it so easy to get your fishing gear up onto. If you plan on fishing here, make sure you chart the tides, as with low tide, the pier is almost completely out of the water, and there’s only a few feet under the pier until the tide comes back in. Regarding Island Realty the company does a great job with managing this property, the room was very clean, and the rental company was very accommodating as much as they can be. We were never told there were no elevators anywhere on this property. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs all the time.

Disastrous,better property management needed!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disastrous vacation! A number of inconveniences including parking spaces being sold to the public by Island Realty, decreasing the parking availability for guests. I was not able to access the internet, therefore unable to work remotely thus causing failed deadlines and issues with my employer. It was brought to my attention that the previous guest had complained and Comcast was scheduled to come out.. they were scheduled to come out during my stay when they had other days that the condo was available without tenant, this could have been resolved then. Comcast came out and the resolution was to move the small bedroom TV to the living room... I had no complaints or problems with the television, only the internet service. This was never addressed by Comcast. Still, I wasn't able to work and was asked to wait in the room or allow staff members to wait in the room for the 2-hour period That Comcast allotted, this was no vacation! That 2 hours quickly turned into more than 4 hours that I wasn't able to access my room (we've all had this Comcast experience at home, no one wants to pay money to wait for them on vacation). I was assured by the staff on this day as I continuously tried to re-enter the room that these inconveniences would be taken care of... I never heard from them until reaching out after leaving the premises...Again, this was far from a vacation and I have emailed the staff of Island realty and given them ample time to resolve The issues. I was told that my experience would be taken into consideration for future training events... Again, this is a very expensive trip to be considered a case study!

Reviewer Comments: Gotta say the worst experience I’ve had in 30 years with y’all. Started with the incorrect pool code which meant we couldn’t access the pool until someone came along. We were unable to work the tvs til we located the rabbit ears (rabbit ears!) which had fallen behind the unit . The maintenance guy came to check the cable box (it was never repaired). The bedroom light/fan went out on Tuesday and the maintenance had to order a part which never came. Add all of this the horrible weather and it all made a ****** vacation. Been with you folks since the nineties. Not sure I’ll ever be back.
