Rainbows Breeze: Environnement calme et paisible

Rainbow's Breeze est un appartement confortable, éco-responsable, d'une chambre situé vers l'est de Roatan, sur la Rive-Nord.

Ce grand appartement de plus de 600 pieds carrés avec des plafonds de 10 'est une sortie à une grande terrasse couverte et un spa / piscine (partagé avec le propriétaire). À l'intérieur de l'appartement entièrement meublé est 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain, salon et cuisine avec un grand réfrigérateur, eau potable et cuisinière à gaz. Un lit queen, grande douche, (avec de l'eau chaude). Pas de pannes d'électricité, l'énergie solaire complète avec le système de batterie fournit une protection de toute la maison.

Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est inclus dans le prix de location: Téléphone portable local, Internet WiFi, lecteur DVD avec de nombreux films. Électrique est inclus pour 1 semaine de location, (sauf AC *). Belles brasses année autour de sorte que la climatisation n'est généralement pas nécessaire.

Inclus est l'utilisation de la machine à laver une fois par semaine pour les locations mensuelles. L'eau potable est fournie par un filtre à eau Seagull (pas de produits chimiques) pour l'eau avec un robinet spécial sur l'évier - pas besoin d'acheter ou de transporter de l'eau.

* Même si l'électricité est fournie par les panneaux solaires à Rainbows Breeze, l'utilisation de l'A / C est alimentée directement par la compagnie d'électricité. Le coût de l'électricité est très élevé sur Roatan. 0,35 à 0,40 cents par kWh (toutes taxes comprises). C'est pourquoi il y a un supplément pour la climatisation.

Vous serez vers les régions de l'est de l'île avec surtout des routes secondaires de terre / gravier. Envisagez de louer un véhicule 4x4 si vous prévoyez d'explorer plus à l'est jusqu'à Camp Bay pendant les jours de pluie.

Nous nous amusons beaucoup à l'Est de Roatan - une expérience très différente de celle de l'Ouest. Les activités peuvent aller de la plongée sous-marine ou plongée avec tuba, équitation ou Segway, aller à la pêche, ou la voile sur un catamaran ou simplement bronzer avec de la nourriture et des boissons. Plus à l'est, il y a plus de plages à Paya Bay et à Camp Bay.

Les agréables Jardin botanique de Carambola et Roatán Marine Park méritent aussi une visite. Quiet, breezy, perfect location to relax.

Spent almost 4 months so I have lots to say. Liz is a wonderful woman, very respectful & a gold mine of information. The apartment has everything you need, clean & airy. The outdoor living space is perfect for taking your morning coffee while looking at the ocean, eating lunch or swaying in the hammock at night listening to the waves. The pool just steps away was my favorite spot. Love the doggies & they loved me. Bugs only at sunset for an hour & not a lot. Liz has a 2 person kayak so easy to go to the reef to snorkel. You need a car. From here easy to visit Camp bay, in my opinion the most beautiful beach on the island, visit Punta Gorda, etc, the east end is beautiful. Meet the expats at different gatherings, Liz will give you the days & places to meet them. You can spend the day with Amavi charters on their beautiful catamaran & go snorkeling in Port Royal. Road is now easy to go grocery shopping in French Harbor & to spend the day visiting the western area, like Westbay or Westend. Perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it. Thanks again Liz for making my stay wonderful.

Perfect place for a great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. Liz was very helpful and informative. The accommodation was excellent value and was more than adequate. The WiFi was a little weak but that is a common issue throughout the island. This is a great place for a quiet getaway for a couple that is still close enough to access all the other activities on a day trip. You will not be constantly be bothered by people trying to sell you activities and goods, nor will you be tripping over other tourists. In fact on the days that you choose to stay on the grounds you are likely not to see any other tourist! Another unplanned benefit was the opportunity to interact with the locals in the nearby fishing village to get some insight into their world if you choose to do so. The day trips we did generally were to sights visited by expatriates and hard core tourist ie the people that are sailing the world for the last two years and not the throng of regular tourists. This gives you a much different and I beg to say better perspective on the location and experience. The only reason I didn’t give full marks were that the beach was littered (as most are), WiFi poor and access can be difficult if it is raining making a 4x4 Necessary.

A great trip!

I travel to the island twice a year and I always have a great time at Rainbows Breeze. Its nice to have a full kitchen with full sized appliances when you're staying for a few weeks at a time. Its also wonderful to have a porch with a table and hammock to relax on and the beach only a couple hundred meters away. The dogs are wonderful (I always miss mine when I'm away from home, so its nice to have some furry friends to greet me when I get back to the apartment in the afternoon) and there are plenty of birds to watch (Carib Grackles, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds) in the yard. A very good place to stay for someone who wants to see the whole island, not just the inside of a resort. Good resturants, a grocery, and a gas station are nearby, and because its centrally located on the island you can get the full experience from Camp Bay to West End.

Off the beaten path in Roatan

Even before we arrived, Liz, the owner of the apartment, went out of her way to make sure we were going to be comfortable. This excellent service continued throughout our stay, with Liz providing assistance in organizing different trips and adventures and showing us where the best vegetables and groceries were to be found. The apartment had all of the necessary amenities to make a traveller feel like they were at home, including a complete kitchen. Local kids have constructed a charming sand soccer field at the beach. A car is necessary at this location. We recommend this location to any one who wants to experience Roatan away from the touristy West End but still have access to beaches, villages and beautiful vistas, just a short car ride away.

A WONDERFUL RELAXING STAY

I loved my stay at Rainbows Breeze. The apartment was clean and maintained well. Liz was more than helpful in suggesting places to go and things to see. I loved the fact that it wasn't among many other resorts. A quiet atmosphere. The beach was well kept (a few plastic bottle were on the shore - washed up from a recent Tropical storm and there was a man working to clean it up). I had to wear bug spray that's for sure because 1st thing in the morning and around 6 p.m. the sand flies come out as they do all over the Island. There are a few small dogs on the property which are well behaved and a joy. I visited BJ's Backyard in Oakridge and Puky's BBQ in Jonesville. Both are a must to visit! I would recommend Rainbows Breeze to my friends and family.
