Belle maison au bord de l'eau à l'extrémité sud du lac Skaneateles. Situé du côté est, vous pourrez profiter de longues journées ensoleillées sur le quai privé ou sur la plage et admirer le coucher de soleil à couper le souffle depuis le pont. 133 pieds de l'accès privé au lac au bord de l'eau!

Le hangar à bateaux terminé dispose d'une kitchenette avec réfrigérateur et vue sur l'eau. La location comprend l'utilisation de trois kayaks, un canot et un pédalo. Bateau ponton inclus pour 2 jours! Aussi disponible pour des locations plus longues pour 100 $ par jour. Feux de joie sur la plage sont une merveilleuse conclusion à une journée au bord du lac!

Portes ouvertes rez-plan avec une grande cuisine et de granit bar. canapé assez grand pour toute la famille pour profiter de la vue sur l'eau ou un film énorme en forme de U! Les plinthes chauffantes et le chauffage extérieur au propane en font un endroit merveilleux pour se détendre toute l'année. Il est l'endroit idéal pour regarder les feuilles changent.

Trois chambres au total - deux chambres à coucher queen et une chambre king-size avec espace de couchage supplémentaire dans le loft (ne convient pas aux enfants). Profiter de belles vues sur le lac depuis chaque chambre. Draps et serviettes sont fournis.

Perfect Memorial Day weekend at the lake

From the moment we stepped onto the property until the moment we left the experience could not have been better. Owner: I can't say enough positive things about the owner and the treatment that we received while we were there. She was on-site when we arrived, gave us a detailed tour of the property making sure we were aware of all that the property had to offer along with a few local tips. She was incredibly gracious with the amenities provided and even sent back a small item that one person in our party forgot! Property: Wow, as beautiful as the pictures are they still don't do the 'camp' justice! The setting is absolutely wonderful at the south end of the lake. The main house is set on the hill above the lake, it's 1st floor is one big open space with windows covering the walls highlighting the incredible views. There is an expansive deck that is bigger than the footprint of the home (which isn't small either)! Down a few flights of stairs and a winding trail there is a boat house on the water that is just as nicely appointed as the main house. All spaces were very clean and it felt like a luxury retreat! Boat: We rented the pontoon boat and took it out on the lake with 8 people (probably the most I'd put on the boat) and it worked great for cruising around and enjoying the crystal clear water. Our trip could not have gone any better. I'd like to keep this a secret and not write such a rave review but also wanted to make sure the owners get the credit that they are due. Thank you so much and we hope to be back soon! Book here, you won't be disappointed.

Lake Side Gem!

We spent a week at this quiet, peaceful home on the south end of Skaneateles lake and found the accommodations and location to be nearly perfect. This home is the best stocked rental property we've ever stayed at - in addition to the basics, the very thoughtful owners went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed (and more). The house is well appointed and very clean - although on the smaller size, there was plenty of room for our family of four. Each of the 3 bedrooms have beautiful lake views and the beds were SO comfortable! The kitchen/family room has a nice open plan and the GIGANTIC sectional couch is a great place to relax if the weather chases you inside. The outside deck and eating area is very expansive - with beautiful views, plenty of seating and a nearly new gas grill! The lake is a steep walk down, however the gradual walk-ways and stairs are manageable to do a few times each day. The boat house was fantastic - we kept drinks and lunch items in the refrigerator there for lakeside lunches and happy hour! The dock itself is a good size and the small beach provides an easy way for adults and kids alike to get in/out of the lake. It was nice to have the option of docking our boat or putting it on a mooring - we took advantage of both depending on the weather and lake conditions throughout the week. Thoughtful touches like board games, books, kayaks and the canoe & peddleboat kept us all occupied regardless of the weather! The location of the property makes getting supplies or going out to eat a little bit inconvenient - the closest restaurant (The Glen Haven) is very basic, but an easy place to grab a burger and a drink. Otherwise, plan on at least 15-20 minutes to get to the grocery store and 20-30 minutes to get to better restaurants. The beauty of the home is that you don't have to leave unless you want to! I would recommend this property to anyone without reservation!

Recharging retreat!

This property was amazing! All of the water toys, the boat, the water and the beds were incredible! My kids and I enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming all day then enjoying s'mores by the water at night. The boat house was a great place to chill beers and chill inside when it rained. The owners were very quick to respond and help in any way. Since we drove from over 5 hours away, it was nice to have condiments and small things provided. The beds were almost more comfortable than ours at home and the views from each window were beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

Best spot on the lake!

This is a great lake retreat for the whole family. Aside from being on such a beautiful lake, the house is also located on a very good spot on the south end of the lake where it's narrow and very picturesque both from the house and the lake/boathouse below. The path from the house down to the lake is a littly rocky but easily managed by a 4 yr old, 8 yr old and parents in their 70's. This was our 2nd time staying at this house, with plans to return. It's rustic and it's charming with an updated kitchen, amenities, and heavenly beds ✨️. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Perfect for us!

We backed in on a Wednesday afternoon and didn't pull out until Saturday at checkout! No need to go anywhere else. Everything was great from location to comfy beds to the special extras the owners provided. Quiet, crystal clear water. Nothing to worry about but enjoying the daytime fun on the lake and the ridiculously beautiful sunsets.

This property was the perfect location for our weekend away. We were able to bring our boat and launch it very close to the house. The house itself was well stocked and comfortable. We would be happy to stay there again!

Beautiful views of lake

Overall a wonderful lake house. The view of lake from every bedroom was amazing. Owner was responsive & provided many extras such as candy, packaged snacks, garbage bags, laundry detergent, etc. The driveway was steep but common for lake property. The only bathroom was on 2nd floor of house which was fine for my family but was harder for elderly parents to get to when they came to visit. The path to lake was a shared path & dock was connected to neighbor’s dock, separated by wall & a curtain. The dock, boat house & kayaks were great!!!

Amazing weekend in the Finger Lakes!

We had an Amazing weekend at the .Caitlin's lake house. My favorite part was the gorgeous view of Lake Skaneateles, I could sit there all day and look at that view! The inside of the house was spotless and had a beautiful wood interior. The beds were super comfy an there was tons of seating, both inside and out on the deck. The lower boat house is also super cute! If we had stayed longer we would have tried out the pontoon boat but didn't get a chance to this time around. Caitlin was great at checking in on us and recommended some great restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay here - Would definitely book again! Note: There are quite a few steps to get to the main house and it's a steep walk to the boat house...but definitely worth it!

Great Stay

We had a great time and spent most of our time on the water. The “toys” that come with the rental are fantastic. The place is tucked into the woods, and there are a lot of steps to get to the house and water level. (Good to know if you have trouble with steps) The owners are fantastic and really helpful.

AMAZING Vacation!

This house is situated in an incredibly beautiful part of Lake Skaneateles- rolling hills and crystal clear water! Inside, every comfort awaits from super soft bedding, crisp linens, well-stocked kitchen supplies, to movies and water toys to entertain the kids. We spent countless hours kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and using the boat (which was the best bonus addition to a vacation house). The boat house on the water was a perfect space to escape the sun, relax and watch a movie, or grab a snack, all while staying a mere few feet from the waters edge. In addition to the beautiful house and lake, the hosts were kind, attentive, and beyond hospitable. We can't wait to return to this gem of a place!

Just Fabulous!

We stayed at this amazing lake house for about 3 weeks and loved everything about it! Caitlin was very responsive and helpful, and Kitty was available for anything we needed during the stay. They went out of their way to make things convenient for us during this pandemic, and went above and beyond in generosity. We loved hanging out down in the boat house and lighting fires down there at night, while watching the sun set. We were really glad to have the pontoon boat, as well! We explored every inch of that lake. The house itself is perfect, as well, and the beds were really comfortable - like the ones at really nice hotels! We definitely plan to return!

Relax and enjoy

We had a relaxing week. The area is beautiful and tranquil. We love to fish, go boating and hiking and this was the area to go. Skaneateles is an artistic town located nearby. Everyone was friendly. We love this place!

Peaceful Stay on the Lake

My family and I had a wonderful time. The rental looks exactly as pictured. Kitty was very prompt with answering any question I had. There is literally a lake view from each room in the house. We loved the boathouse and all the water toys. My daughters especially loved the pedal boat and splash pad. The dock by the boathouse was a great fishing spot for my husband. The surroundings were so calming and peaceful. We loved it all!

Awesome Lake House and Hosts: Heavenly

What a wonderful home in a heavenly location! I had good communication with Caitlin, and Kitty was a terrific host who quickly answered our questions during the week. The house is wonderful, the lake sublime. Some highlights: Kitty’s pulled pork, waiting for us on arrival; kayaking on the lake at sunset with the water placid and reflective; sitting on the porch overlooking the lake reading a book, having a coffee, thinking pleasant thoughts; doing the same thing at the dock; searching for 300 million year old fossils in the shale on the shore; a brisk run around the lake; bedrooms with lake views; a trip to Skaneateles Village; a dip in the water; pontooning across the lake waves; getting rescued by Kitty and Tim after we ran out of gas in the pontoon (sorry Kitty!); I could go on with many lovely memories, but you get the point. The house is up to date, with terrific views, very comfortable, a great kitchen and comfortable living room. The porch overlooking the lake is a great place to have a coffee and read a book. The boathouse is great, with a dock, kayaks and paddle boat. The water is cool but comfortable, and it was great to swim for a bit and then bask in the sun on the dock. The three bedrooms have views of the lake. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but the stay was worth every penny. We were very sad to leave it and hope to come back again someday. Strongly recommended. Thank you Kitty and Caitlin!

Great house, great location, great owner

My family and I had an amazing family vacation for 7 days right on the lake. It was wonderful having the private dock right on the water and the boat house was great to have. We enjoyed the boat house, dock, and lake every day we were there. We had so much fun swimming, fishing, and boating. The owner was so nice and accomodating. She respected our privacy but was very helpful when needed. I highly recommend this property.

WE LOVED OUR STAY!

Thank you so much for opening up your home to us! My family and I had the best time at the lake house. Kitty was so sweet and friendly and always there to answer questions. The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home for the week. The view of the lake was amazing. We loved waking up to that each day and watching the sun set every night. We used the kayaks and the boat and had so much fun on the water. We missed it as soon as we left. We would definite love to stay here again.

Lovely spot in the Lake!

Loved being right on the lake! We went down to the dock and boat house every day and enjoyed being right on the lake level. Back up at the house in the late afternoon, we enjoyed the upper level deck and gathering to play games in the large living area at night. All in all a nice four days away. The owners were very accommodating when we wanted to bring our own boat and a first for us in a rental property, was the crockpot of pulled pork waiting for us when we arrived and staples in the refrigerator and closets. So nice!
