Such a nice cabin overlooking the lake. Quick response to any questions during our stay. Very well equipped place with pretty much everything you need for your stay. Would stay there again.
House was as advertised, plenty of room and very clean. Driveway was a bit steep but common for lake properties. Lake frontage was A+++, great access to the water, comfortable lawn furniture, a fire pit and a nice dock. Water depth was gradual, excellent for small children. Had a great family vacation!
The house overlooks Skaneateles Lake⊠the water is crystal clear⊠owner has kayaks and paddle boards for guests to useâŠjust bring everything down with you in the morning because there are many steps back up⊠overall great stay
Great time with friends . House was clean. Lake was GORGEOUS. Sufficient for our needs. Only complaint was water issues- low water pressure that impeded showering/ dish clean up.
My son felt this was one of their most relaxing vacations. The lakeside area was beautiful. Skaneateles lake is clear. You can see the bottom until it becomes too deep. We were provided with kayaks and paddle boards to explore the area. The children loved finding fossils- and they were abundant! We sat around the lakeside firepit in the evening and watched the sunset. The grill located here was also easy for having lunch or dinner lakeside. The stairs were many from home to lake but after a couple of days (we are from Florida and not used to stairs) we were in shape for more than one trip.
Beautiful home. Outstanding lake front. Don, our manager, was supportive and quick to answer questions and fix problems. Looking for dates to return next summer.
We vacationed on the lake as children and have brought our children here to experience the lake. There was more than enough room for everyone. The fire pit, kayak and paddle boards being included really added to our time by the water. The sunset views from the deck are spectacular. There are many stairs, but very worth it.
My group (husband plus older parents) had a magical time staying at Matt's property during the fourth of July week. The check-in with the property manager went smoothly as my parents arrived before I did. In the time since I booked my mom had broken her knee and had surgery, and Don and the neighbors showed her how she could more easily access the lakefront by walking a little bit down the road and crossing their property- this was much appreciated as otherwise she would not have been able to make it down. The views from the house and porch were wonderful and we even saw a bald eagle. My husband and I especially loved the paddle boards and kayaks. The home itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed watching movies and playing games on rainy days. Hope to make it back again one day!
We loved the open layout of the first floor. The views from so many windows and the decks were beautiful. Even though the road to get there was tricky, it was well worth it. Same goes for the many steps down to the lakefront t area.
A group of friends and I rented this property for our friends wedding, whose family home was a few doors down. The house was well suited to our needs and accommodated our group perfectly. The house was clean and the bedrooms were well sized. The lake access was a wonderful addition, and we took full advantage of the great set up! The only flaw would be the lack of air conditioning over a uncharacteristically hot and humid weekend for the area, but we made do! Would definitely recommend a stay here.
We had a great week. The area down by the lake is wonderful. Just be aware there are a lot of steps to get down to the lake. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and the fire pit by the lake. One day we used the grill by the lake to make hot dogs for lunch instead of going back up to the house. Listing says 3 full baths but itâs actually 2 1/2 baths. We knew that ahead of time by looking at the floor plan and it was fine for 7 of us. Loved the area and hope to come back soon!
Beautiful lake house that very comfortably fit 7 of us. Lake is stunning, please know that there are extremely high stairs to the lake. I would not feel comfortable with anyone very old or very young. Very responsive, clean home, great kitchen, comfy beds, gorgeous lake and would highly recommend, especially for a group of friends!!
house was very very humid, there were puddles of water from condensation on the floor, mold in basement. said 3 full baths had 2.5. the walk to the lake was very steep and difficult ,this could have been shown in add but was not. House was very clean
.
The house was perfect for our large family. The house is well stocked and the dock is equipped with lounge chairs, a grill, fire pit, kayaks and paddle boards. The owner has obviously taken great care to ensure a wonderful stay. We will book again!
This property is beautiful and meticulously cleaned and maintained. Our property manager is professional and went above all expectations to make sure we had a wonderful stay at the lake. He addressed any questions we had immediately. The house is beautiful and the beach is amazing. Bring your swim suit, water shoes and a fishing pole!
