Wonderful Vacation Home Rental on Owasco Lake

Book your dates now at this wonderful lake home! Recently renovated and updated, this spacious 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home features an open living/dining area with sun room. Modern kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. 1/2 bath and laundry area are conveniently located on the first floor as well. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bath including a master bedroom with king sized bed and picture windows overlooking the lake. Second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the third bedroom features a set of bunk beds. This home comfortably accomodates up to 6 guests. A large convered patio on the lakeside of the house has just been added! Perfect for enjoying meals outside regardless of the weather! Nicely landscaped level lakeside yard is great for lawn games, sunbathing, or sitting by the lake. There is also a campfire pit located at the edge of the lawn for roasting marshmallows with family and friends. Dock is available for swimming, fishing or tying your boat. There is a level stone beach front with gradual grade into the water which makes this property perfect for all ages. The shore is stone rather than sand and water shoes are recommended. Attached garage and several parking spaces are available. Restaurants, attractions, boat rentals and more and all are nearby!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The kids loved fishing every day and taking the kayaks out on the water. The house was perfect for our family—comfortable, well-equipped, and in a beautiful setting. We also visited the nearby town of Skaneateles, which was charming and definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing family getaway!

Beautiful and relaxing lake home

My husband and I stayed here for a week at end of July, 2025. Place was exactly as pictured. Very clean, very relaxing. We spent all our time on patio and in back yard, dining outside and watching boats and duck families swimming by. Location was easily accessible. Check in very easy. Sunrise through bedroom window spectacular!

We loved this property. Just as shown. Clean and comfortable inside, and lots of room outside to enjoy the lake. Solid dock, lots of chairs. Firepit with wood available for purchase. Great grassy yard with lots of birds.

Boppa’s lake house

This is our third year staying at this lake house. The communications with owner was good. The house is exactly as stated in the write up. A/c in bedrooms which cools the whole house. Plenty of parking, water toys, a dock, 2 kayaks and wonderful yard reaching the waterfront. Definitely planing on staying here again next year.

Peaceful lake house

We all had a nice, relaxing time at this lovely lake house. The property is large and flat allowing for some serene November lake views with some ducks floating by. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who might be looking to stay here in the future.

Amazing house at the lake

It was the perfect place to relax for a few days. Two canoes to go on the lake, the kids could go into the lake by themselves as it is very flat and protected. The house is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and the view from the master bedroom over the lake is just amazing.

Beautiful site on the lake

Beautiful flat yard nicely landscaped. House very clean and beds comfortable. The only downside is there are no restaurants or wineries accessible from the water which we didn’t expect prior to our stay. Very relaxing space!

Great Family Vacation

This property is perfect for families with teenagers. The yard was a wonderful place to play yard games like corn hole and volleyball. The dock setup was perfect for our boat and there were very few steps down to the dock. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. We have stayed at many Finger Lakes cottages and this one is our favorite!!!

Perfect Retreat

This lovely lake house has beautiful views and everything one needs for a lakefront vacation. I was there for a few days in early spring and it was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were easy to work with & communicated quickly. I would definitely go back.

Fell in love with Finger Lakes

First time in Finger Lakes. Loved the house we rented right on the lake. Such a pretty place. Loved the patio. Owner and Joy worked with us because we could not stay till Monday and thank you for that. Hope to return to Finger lakes next year

This property is exactly as the listing stated. Overall property is well cared for and stocked with water activities items such as kayaks. Checkin was easy, plenty of parking, the property is flat right to lakefront with a large dock. Highly recommend property and will probably book for next year.

Very nice property on a great fishing like. We were close to Syracuse for a graduation. Nice , bright cheery home. Home was very clean. Fantastic property for water access. Excellent dock for boats. Good fishing off the dock. Close to stores and restaurants. Despite terrible weather, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Great time in Finger Lakes

We had a great stay at this property. It was exactly as shown and the property was immaculate. Being on the lake was very nice. It was a great introduction to the Finger Lakes as it was our first time staying in the area. It is on one of the smaller lakes so not as close the winery trails but there were still some great wineries close by that were fun to discover. We visited some historical sites - Tubman house - (plus more wineries) and found a place to ride some ebikes on a nice trail around one of the lakes - and may have stopped at winery on the bikes. We would stay again if in the area.

Perfect lake vacation spot

The house and grounds are beautiful. It’s clean, comfortable and relaxing. There is a flat lawn from the house to the break wall. Then it’s just 5 steps down to the huge shallow beach which is perfect for young kids. The boat dock is designed to tie up your boat easily so it doesn’t bang into the dock. It is so quiet and peaceful. The boat traffic is light and the neighborhood has permanent residents around so everything is well kept. It was a great vacation and we thank our hosts for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Lake house

Overall, we were very happy with this lake house. The house was clean, stocked with essentials and accommodated all our needs. The large flat property was great for activities and easy access to the lake. The shallow clean water and a large dock was perfect. As others have stated the house water was from a well so there was a slight sulfur odor, we did bring bottled water to drink. All in all, we had a great stay and are considering booking again for next year.

Great for family!

We stayed at this lake house when visiting family close by. It was the perfect location. We had two little kids (2 and under), and this house was great! The downstairs allows enough room for people to gather all while being able to see your kids at all times. It had everything we needed to cook meals and everything was clean and neat. We stayed here during the spring when the weather was cold and rainy, but are looking forward to coming back in warmer weather where we could enjoy the dock and the fun water toys that the house provided. We’d happily book this home again!
