Conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown AVL & Biltmore Estate. Our home will have varying levels of road noise due to it's proximity to I-40.

Our home sits on 9 private acres.

Guests will have access to the entire house. The garage and basement will be locked.

This home was built in the 1920's. Two of the bedrooms (full size bed and twin beds) have sloped ceilings around the beds.

There is plenty of parking on the property and a vehicle is recommended to travel around the area.

The home is easily serviced by local ride share and taxi companies.

Our home is located on the hillside of I-40. You will be able to hear varying levels of road traffic when outside.

This home was clean and comfortable. We had family and friends staying for 3 to 5 days during a 2 week period ranging in age from 70 to 85 years. There was plenty of space in the house for togetherness and solitude! We managed the stairs fine. The fire pit and hot tub were very nice additions and the host was quickly responsive for the few items needing attention. We would definitely return.

Beautiful Family Home

We celebrated Christmas at this rental with our extended family of eight adults and two small children. The kitchen is remarkably well-appointed, and my brother loved making breakfast on the Blackstone griddle. We loved gathering for meals at the big dining room table and play games and working puzzles at the breakfast table. The living room had plenty of seating and enough room for a rambunctious toddler to roam. We loved that none of the bathrooms were en suites, which made showering and getting out of the house for the day easier. Amazingly, we never ran out of hot water! The property is convenient to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville, and the property managers were communicative and accommodating of our early check in. I would definitely book this property again. It was just perfect for our family holiday!

We’ll be back again and again!

My family of 8 was going to stay here but 2 had scheduling issues so 6 of us stayed in this immaculate home. My family was so impressed!!!! We had 3 packed full days of sightseeing planned but we loved the house so much we cancelled one full day of plans just to enjoy this house more. Beds were extremely comfortable! Property is massive and great for our fur babies. I really had to think hard to find any thing to mention in my review that would help any future guests and the only thing I could say is there is some highway noise. We didn’t care because the location near the highway made our lives so much easier when going to Biltmore Estate, Omni Grove Park Inn and the NC Arboretum. 10-15 minutes from anything you could possibly want to do. We will be back again in the summer. My children asked me to cancel our OBX trip for June and replace it with a trip back to this house. Anne was a true dream to work with as well. She went above and beyond for me. And I had really asked a lot of her. She never complained or said no to any of my requests. Do yourself a favor and stop looking at all the other Asheville options and book this before it’s too late.

Girls Weekend

Our group of 9 stayed here for a girls weekend and the place was perfect! The interior and exterior of the house was beautiful, very clean, and there was plenty of space for all of us to gather both inside and outside. The fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms were a plus and the owner was very responsive and really helpful during check-in and check-out. The location was great because we were a quick drive to both downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. We had a wonderful stay here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking.

Roomy & Charming Home on beautiful property!

We had 9 total people stay at this house and we had THE BEST stay. Everything was thought of from the toiletries to the kitchen ware. The house had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, the house is extremely clean and we don’t have a single bad thing to say. We spent the evenings in the hot tub under the stars and played bags in the backyard. I highly recommend this place. The hosts were extremely communicative and provided lots of great recommendations. 10/10 would bring my family back to stay.

Fun Bachelorette Weekend in Asheville

This property was perfect for our bachelorette weekend. We had 9 stay very comfortably. The host was extremely quick to respond to any messages and really flexible with an early check in. The house was clean, well stocked, and in a great location! I would absolutely stay here again.

Long weekend in Asheville

So many amazing aspects about this property. Very close to Asheville but also proximate to highways for the smokies, cherokee, or pisgah forests; spotless and comfortable historic home; endless amenities, toiletries, and linens; hot tub was cleaned every morning; had every kitchen tool or gadget you could think of; hosts were very friendly and communicative. It was wonderful BUT you are very close to the highway. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you (some of my friends compared it to white noise) then this house is a great choice. However, I don't think I would rent this house again if I had the choice. Hard to leave a critical review when everything else was perfect but I would have liked to have known it was not going to be the super tranquil home it looks like in the pictures.

Great home close to Asheville

Pretty home with plenty of space and close to Asheville. The only negative could be its proximity to the interstate because of noise but it was never an issue for us. The kitchen was stocked and the owners were in direct contact I’d you needed anything. The hot tub was great and the large front and backyard were good for the kids too. I would recommend this home and will most likely stay again.

Family weekend

House is gorgeous. Couldn’t say enough about how pretty this home truly is. Extremely clean. I’m a sucker for older homes, and this house had all the charm and character you could imagine. Owner left coffee and locally made gourmet popcorn - such a thoughtful touch - each were thoroughly enjoyed. So well stocked - kitchen had plenty of dishes and cups, cookware, etc
 any and all toiletries available that you could think of if you happened to leave something at home. I’m always appreciative when rentals have portable fans in the bedrooms, and this house had fans in each room. We woke up one morning to two deer in the front yard. Wonderful dog room if you should happen to bring your fur baby along. Our family of 7, plus one fur baby, fit comfortably. Only drawback I can think of is the property backs up to the interstate, so you have that noise when you’re outside, but the home’s charm overshadows that. We will definitely stay in again the next time we are in town! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!
