Upon your arrival at 539 Golden Creek Road, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 you'll walk up two exterior steps to the front door landing. Once you enter through the front door to the interior landing you will walk down two steps where you'll find the entire property on the ground level.

PLEASE NOTE:
* Properties are prepared for arrival with professionally laundered and sanitized linen, bedding and towels:
- Beds are made with a mattress cover, fitted sheet, a down free comforter in between two flat sheets and pillowcases on the pillows. For the Queen size sofa pull out sleeper; all will be found on its sofa.
- Towels provided for your stay will be found in each full bathroom with a bathmat.
* Hand soap, body wash, lotion, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper towel, trash can liners, dish towel, kitchen sponge, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods will be found throughout the property
* There is no air conditioning.
* Pets are not allowed.
* Images shown were taken prior to COVID-19 preparation done in June 2020

Generally nice with the exception of the master bath being locked out for "owner use". I get having owners having locked out closets but a locked out master bathroom? Go somewhere else.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual, we had a wonderful time on our twice-annual summer visit. Unit 539 suited us quite well. It's nicely equipped: new toaster, wonderful fridge, water kettle, empty pantry shelves for our use, great shower spray, near-instant hot water, comfy bed (but pillows too puffy), greatly appreciated remote for fireplace, two lawn chairs in closet were a nice amenity, good art prints on walls although fishing decor not our taste. We like the landscaping (daisies) of the grounds and the peaceful community (other than oft-times loud work going on in upstairs unit).We went to our usual favorite haunts: Booky Joint bookshop, Library, Second Chance Thrift and Cast-offs Thrift, Von's, Noodle-Ly, Rock Creek Canyon and Pie-in-the-Sky cafe, Gomez restaurant in the Village, the Lakes Basin area, loved Hamlet at Mammoth Shakes in the Woods, first visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recently stayed at 539 Golden Creek Road (part of Snowcreek Resort). Overall, my experience was very good. The living and dining room furniture were comfortable, the kitchen well-lit and equipped (I especially appreciated the recycling containers), the bedroom quiet with a new and comfortable mattress. Everything was clean, and having the laundry onsite was so convenient. The shower was excellent, with my one suggestion being to replace the sink faucet handle to something a little easier to turn on/off.

The place was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and was very comfortable overall! We were also were given free access to the athletic center that had a pool and hot tub!::Because there is so much snow reaching to the second floor, I believe there was an ice dam /leak of some kind near the fireplace and wall where the couch is located in the family room. The floor was damp and the condo had a pungent musty smell throughout. There also was a large elongated sheet of ice lodge against the bedroom window that should get addressed.

Reviewer Comments: The space is large and overall fairly comfortable, but the pullout couch bed is the farthest thing from comfortable and probably would hurt someone to sleep on it. Immediately when you lay on it every single spring is poking into you.The place can still host 4 people, but likely 3 of them will be sleeping on the floor.The master bedroom is very comfortable and spacious.

This is a nice property, clean and well kept. It is within walking distance of the bus route, otherwise you will need to drive to the ski lifts. But you do save a lot of money!

Great Weekend Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time staying here. My only complaint is with the pull-out sofa bed. To sleep there with 2 people was very uncomfortable. Would strongly suggest adding another pad or getting a new mattress. You could feel the springs in your back and the weight of 2 people made it sag in the middle. Aside from that, great location, amenities and easy to book.

We also were given only a very small soap bar to use. Plenty of towels. Bed very comfortable. I would recommend the owner take out bathroom carpet and replace with a tile flooring. The brown carpet is dated.

Mammoth stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. Property was very comfortable. Great mattress on king bed. Would have appreciated having the tv left on until our check out time. It was off for the last 4 hrs of our stay.

The property was as depicted on VRBO. The bed was comfortable and kitchen had the basics but definitely could have used a few more things (a glass pyrex, basic muffin pan). The carpet could use a good cleaning and extra throw blankets would be nice. Overall, worked for us.
