Graduation Visit

Communication with Host was wonderful and always quick to respond. Property was very spacious and clean. The views were peaceful and very relaxing as well as the neighborhood. Very centrally located to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and highways. Our stay was outstanding!!

Great house

Everything was as advertised. Very nice house right on the lake. Plenty of room for my now wife and our kids. Owners were very attentive and informative. If we ever come back to Jacksonville we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect accommodation… very cleanExactly what we were looking for.. The view is beautiful out the back screened in porch…. Location is great.! We would rent it again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be in Jacksonville Florida.

Home away from home

Great location, close to the Mayo Clinic where we had to go several times a week for a month.The home was spacious and comfortable. It felt like home. The neighborhood was very nice. Lots of wildlife in the pond out back for the kids to enjoy. The hosts were great and very responsive to questions. The home was well stocked with the regular household items you would need. I would highly recommend this place for any length of stay!

Close to Mayo- excellent place to recover

This home is an excellent accommodation near Mayo Clinic to recover after surgery. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. My caregiver and I were able to move around without stairs or steps impeding my path. The master bath has both a walk-in bathtub and a large shower with grab bars to safely get cleaned up. The water closet has multiple sets of grab bars for safe toileting. In the living room, the couch and chair have automatic recliners- so there’s no need to engage your core muscles if you’ve had abdominal surgery, but you can still elevate your feet or lower your head. The back porch overlooks a lovely pond that kept us very entertained with the wildlife. We loved watching the ducks, geese, cranes, and turtles each day. The waterfowl often walk around the back yard in between swims and catching fish. The host was very polite and responsive to our requests. We would happily stay with this host again at this location.

Peaceful and Relaxing

What a lovely, clean home with plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and the amenities were exceptional for a home away from home. The lanai was the perfect place for morning coffee while watching geese and herons on the lake. The location was perfect with shopping, grocery, and movie theater just a short distance from the home. I would definitely recommend this home for a nice get away.

Beautiful Property Inside and Out

This property is absolutely amazing, and we were in awe when we walked in because the pictures cannot do it justice. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and we had more than we needed for a wonderful, relaxing stay. The living room furniture is high-end and very comfortable. The beds were also extremely nice and comfortable. The screened porch that overlooks the lake is such a peaceful place where we enjoyed seeing a variety of wildlife all around. There were herons, different types of ducks, geese, ibis, and a pink spoon-billed shoveler (that we looked up because it was so unique). Michael and Gary were excellent hosts, and we appreciated their kind hospitality. We will definitely stay in this property again when we're in the area because the accommodations were a highlight of our stay.

Jacksonville Getaway

We had a great stay at the Sandlewood rental! Michael and Gary were excellent hosts—very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The home was lovely, located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Everything was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome Location, Accommodations and Property Management

Beautiful lakefront property in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood. The house looks nice in pictures and is even better in person! The hosts are extremely responsive and made sure everything was perfect during our 45 day stay. Would definitely rent again!

After staying at some other places, my brothers and I decided to create a cozy getaway that has a Vacation Home feel. Something to take you away from the standard, crowded old hotel scene, with the freedom of a private home. Just a great experience.

It's centrally located to the beach, sports and downtown. Plenty of nearby shopping with great local places to eat. Also, a very quiet neighborhood with great neighbors.

Has the feeling of a second home. The coastal, beachy theme will take you away from the average places. Lots of room to enjoy family time or just a quite peaceful place to relax. Also - nobody lives in the house and our housekeeping service goes the extra mile to keep the house immaculately clean.
