Petaluma Ranch Resort: Pool, spa, fire pit , Bocce, & outdoor kitchen

This is a super fun, peaceful, and elegant mini-ranch resort for your family or close friends to escape to Sonoma County.

Just minutes from downtown Petaluma, our property is close to everything yet quiet and private. The Ranch Resort includes our 650 SF, 2-bedroom barn suite (sleeps 4) and our 2,500 SF, 4-Bedroom main home (sleeps 8). Horses and chickens entertain animal lovers, while the pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, two spas, bocce court, and fresh eggs can be enjoyed by all!

The space
Guests have access to most areas. The barn workspace and a private studio are off-limits. Otherwise, we invite you to stroll the gardens and grounds and enjoy your time here. Please feel free to pick plums, blackberries, and pears off the trees. Dig for potatoes, pick veggies freely, and add them to your meal!

Our property is ideally located! We are just outside city limits, providing a rural, quiet feel while being minutes away from rockin' downtown Petaluma, wineries, and the gorgeous Sonoma Coast. Enjoy our indoor wood-burning fireplace, chef's kitchen, and outdoor kitchen with gas grill and “Kamado Joe” (Green Egg style) cooker. You can gather around the large outdoor gas fire pit between the patio and pool.

We have a NEW hot tub outside the master on the deck, in addition to our spa connected to our pool. Enjoy the spas during cool nights under the stars and the pool (not heated) during warm Sonoma days. This is the best of a quiet country setting, fun Petaluma action, world-class wines, and close proximity to untouched coastal beauty.

Other things to note
Within 10 minutes from our house, you can gather everything you will need for a one-of-a-kind farm-to-fork experience, including locally raised and grown meat, poultry and produce, local beer (Petaluma is the home to Lagunitas and other excellent craft beers), and award-winning Sonoma wine. Petaluma typically has multiple great live music options including nightly music.

The newly registered Petaluma Gap AVA has led to many new wineries and tasting rooms within minutes of the house (over 10!). Local wineries include Sonoma Port Works, Adobe Road, Brooks Note, Azari, Keller, McEvoy Ranch (olive oil and winery), and more. We are a short drive to Dry Creek, Russian River, Carneros, Alexander Valley, and more. Other local favorites include the Marine French Cheese Company, Della Fattoria Breads, Terra Firma farm (Grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, Lamb, pork, chicken), and Bodega Bay Oyster Company, where you can enjoy BBQ oysters there and bring home fresh oysters to shuck and grill yourself. Other favorites include the Marshall Store and Hog Island for a one-of-a-kind oyster experience.

There is plenty of parking. We have games like "bags" (corn hole), a bocce court, outdoor ping pong, and plenty of comfortable outdoor areas to enjoy and relax. Within minutes there are great local hikes, golf, fishing, Frisbee golf, a driving range, and kayak & stand-up paddleboard rentals.

Please note the pool is not heated and the Sonoma County ordinance is that there can not be any outdoor amplified music.

Very important in Sonoma County are the following restrictions to rentals: They include:
- No hosted parties
- No amplified music
- Quiet hours between 10:00 pm-7:00 am
