Welcome to the Historical Riverfront Cottage built in 1818 by Frederick Ross the famous Rotherwood Mansion builder. This quirky home is full of character and is the last one story home left in the historical Boatyard district from 1800âs. This beautiful house is located along the Greenbelt pathway. Take a walk or bike along the path or just enjoy a your morning coffee from the porch overlooking the scenic Holston River.
The space Please Note: Our rental features a garden with a vast variety of flowers that requires extensive maintenance during the spring and summer. A gardener will be onsite on certain days to ensure the proper care of the lawn and garden beds. This includes tasks such as weeding and general upkeep of the garden beds to maintain a tidy and well-kept outdoor space for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
Stay was fantastic. It is such a homie welcoming place. Getting up in the morning and having my coffee on the porch overlooking the river was very nice quiet.
We gad the BEST stay at this cute little cozy cottage on the water. It exceeded our expectations and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again. Loved this place
Pleasant stay. Cottage was as pictured online and very clean with comfortable beds. The host provided snacks and beverages and was very responsive to any needed communication. Would stay again!
The cottage and surrounding gardens are lovingly maintained, and the river view is stunning! We loved sitting on the porch watching the birds. Zuleika is the perfect host: responsive, welcoming, and generous! She even had snacks waiting for us
I have no complaints. The cottage is beautiful, and I enjoyed every small detail. The host was amazing, and the cottage was stocked with all the little necessities you may forget to bring in a trip. Iâll be back!
We enjoyed our visit and found the cute cottage a wonderful respite after a hectic day. The front porch overlooking the river and its water fowl was very serene
My wife and I came up to see my daughters senior day for HS tennis. It is about a 7 1/2 hour drive for us and to find the house and sit a few minutes was just what we needed. The tennis match went well but had some tears to go with it. As for the houseâŠit is just the type my wife and I love to find. We were going to go ahead and book it for graduation in May but already booked. We really loved snd will use it again for my sons graduation next yearâŠand maybe more.
Stayed three nights when my son played college baseball. Five minutes to Hunter Wright Stadium! Close to everything you would need. Cottage is comfortable, clean and well stocked. Charming
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the 1818 Riverfront Cottage. The beautiful historical house was nestled on a riverfront property and adjacent to the local green belt. The house was equipped with everything we would need for our weekend getaway & then some. The hosts really went above and beyond to ensure every little detail was accounted for. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed his stay and made himself right at home. We have family locally and look forward to making this our home away from home for future visits.
