Come unwind at our cozy and quiet cabin in the country that offers modern amenities. Enjoy the tranquility of the morning with a cup of coffee on the porch. Explore the 5 acre property behind the cabin, climb to the ridge if you are adventurous. Build a fire in the fire pit. Visit the nearby Bays Mountain Park to meet the wolf pack. Hike to a swimming hole in Laurel Run Park. Or just cozy up in the cabin, cook dinner to French music, watch your favorite show or play a board game. For security, there is one outside camera pointed towards the driveway.
Check in was super easy. Owners checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. Pictures looked better online, but it was still a cute place. Living room could use some blinds or curtains, which we mentioned and they agreed, and could use a better walkway from parking to the front door, especially when raining. No other issues for us. Quiet place.
Nice cozy little cottage. Easy to get to. Wi-Fi worked great. Kitchen dishes, pots, ect were stocked. Very friendly owners and communication with them was easy. We would like to rent from them again in the future.
This was our fist time doing a VRBO. Check-in was easy. Kitchen could have used a light over the stove but nicely equipped. Great wi-fi. Parking was a short distance - a little difficult for hubby who uses a walker but ok. Loved listening to the tree frogs but didnât see any fireflies. We had turkeys across the field in the am. Suggested to owner they install grab bars in shower and they appreciated the suggestion. If we go to Churchill next year we will book with them again.
As advertised. If the owners find a bunny my grand daughter visited and can't find it. Please contact me if found. They live nearby.Thank you for a lovely spot
While we enjoyed our stay, there were just a couple things that I felt could be improved upon.1. I could have used some guidance as to how to work the heating system since I was unfamiliar with the system at the cottage. 2. It was freezing outside, and being that I do not have a tub at home, I really wanted to take a relaxing soak in the tub but the bath plug would not work so I was unable to fill the tub with any water.3. We went to cook eggs but the frying pain was caked with old egg. We never used it, but we did clean it before we put it back in the cabinet. There were a couple other little things, but other than that, the cottage had wonderful character and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
This cabin is secluded of the main drag in church hill. Itâs is very close to the main rain that will take you all the way to Bristol or even back west. We were down when it was an extreme rarity for cold weather but the host was very understanding and helped us stay warm. His communication was top notch. This is a very cozy cabin and I would stay here again due to communication with host and the overall location of getting anywhere we needed too.
Cabin had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The cabin is definitely older construction, but it has been beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable, and the small desk was super helpful for homework/work while visiting family. We also really appreciated the washer/dryer. The location gives the country feel - it took us about 30 minutes to travel to Fall Branch. Overall excellent experience!
Cabin is located off a country road, sits on 5 acres, we love to hike up the hill behind the house for daily exercise, and especially enjoy time on the front patio.
