Fingerlakes Owasco Lake 4 Chambre 125 pieds de façade sur le lac

Cette location a été amélioré en 2014 avec cuisine, salle de bain, revêtement de sol, peinture, revêtement, fenêtre et beaucoup plus de mises à niveau. Ceci est notre maison de vacances qui offre un accès au lac et vue sur lac Owasco. Il y a 4 chambres avec lits queen dans chacune et un canapé dans le salon. Un lit double supplémentaire est prévu dans le bureau aussi bien. Il ya une salle à manger avec une table formelle. Beaucoup d'espace de rangement ainsi. L'heure d'été est absolument magnifique ici.

We had a wonderful time and the house was just perfect. It was excellently stocked with anything that you could need. You are only steps from the water and the dock is great. Down the road is a beautiful county park (Emerson) and it is very large and circles the water. It's a great place to take a walk. I hated leaving our vacation.

This is our 4th year renting this beautiful home. It is perfect for our “kids” and grandchildren to enjoy hours of fun swimming in the lake, and enjoying s’mores at the lakeside fire-pit at night. There’s always several families of baby ducks that stop by looking for treats. The livingroom is spacious and great for family time. The kitchen is well stocked, and the dining room table seats the whole family. We plan to come back again.

Fantastic Lake House

We really enjoyed this lake house. We rent every year and would definitely come back to this one. Everything you could need was provided, including wood for your bonfire by the lake. Swimming was amazing, such clear water and no tall weeds! You will need water shoes as it is rocky. Thank you for having us!! We look forward to coming back

We booked this house because we wanted to celebrate our son graduation, and also to be able to enjoy the surroundings, the place and the location were perfect, the host was very nice and accommodating, the house is comfortable and equipped with all that you need. If you need a place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature this is the place. Thanks to the host for his kindness!! We are looking forward to book again!! Excellent experience.

We would love to come back

We had a wonderful time. The lake house is beautiful. The beds were comfy. There was lots of room in the house. Kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for multiple people to prepare meals. We could always find shade throughout the day in the yard to set our chairs. Swimming area was perfect for our grandchildren. We did a trip to Fillmore Glen and it was great to have Auburn there for many more things. We would love to come back

Beautiful cottage right on lake front.

Cottage has plenty of room - we had 5 adults each in own sleeping area. We did have a senior in our group so stairs with no railings were a problem and not having same level parking caused a little issue. The cottage is beautifully designed and view to lake fabulous! We were there during the Harvest Moon 9/30/23 and it was in full view. Very memorable stay!! Thanks for sharing.

Overall the house was great. Lots of space, nice view of lake. Housekeeping could have come in before we got there and removed spiders and bugs from inside windows and ceiling in kitchen.. and bathrooms. More linens are needed for house . Night light were full of bugs.. over all though we had a great time

Great stay, wonderful swimming , fantastic property

This is our 2nd year. The kids ages 2 and 5 found it easy to get into the water. Water was relatively warm and shallow so wonderful for everyone to swim. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, tools for cooking and serving dishes needed to make food for every meal. We enjoyed having a grill. The house was air conditioned. Lots of outdoor space for kids to play and adults to enjoy. We highly recommend this lake house property.

Peaceful days on the lake

If you need a big home on a lovely lake this is a nice option. We were able to gather in the spacious living room and dining room and particularly liked the chairs outside on the lake where geese and ducks paddled by frequently. Beds were comfy and it was close to Auburn. The only negative was that the water had a very bad odor and the owners told us it was safe to drink but they suggested buying bottled water. Wish we had been told before arriving and we wish there had been a supply in the kitchen. Otherwise nice place!

4 Generation Vacation

We had 10 people for a week...ranging from 6 months to 88. Having ground floor access to the house and first floor bedrooms was very helpful. The view is incredible. We had several people who were remote working and the internet was great. The house is perfect for a smaller group. Having 10 people was tough...the dining room table (seats 6 comfortably) is too small to have us all gathered together. We like to cook and eat meals together. Mattresses could use updating.

Generally clean and comfortable. There was no dock to get to the lake until we were ready to leave. Also the bed rooms were hot in summer evenings with no air conditioning and some of the Windows did not have insect proof netting and so We could not open those. We had to leave a day earlier than scheduled. I wish the host would have reached out to make sure we were comfortable and found everything ok. Connecting with your guests and building good relationships is far more valuable than money. Thank you!

The docks get taken out for the winter season and get put back in during the spring. And the house is right on the water. The guest’s stay was May 13-16. That is not summer. I did communicate with the guest and offered to have maintenance come install the a/c’s but the guest didn’t respond. We had a quick change of weather that was in the 40s and 50s the days and weeks before. So the a/c’s had not yet been installed. I knew I should have rejected this reservation from the get go. Some people just like to complain. Thank you!

Week Stay for Fishermen

We had a good experience at this home. It was located on the water and the view was spectacular. The home was a bit dirty and did not have much to use in the kitchen as far as dishware goes. The fridge was leaking water sometimes. The parking situation was kind of difficult because it is on a busy road and you park parallel to the road. We tried to park down by the garage but a rope was immediately put up so we could no longer do that. Overall it was a good experience and the owners were very responsive. Auburn is where the grocery store we went to which is about 20 minutes away.

I apologize if it was unclear how to get into the lower driveway- if a rope was put up you were using the neighbors driveway not the entrance to the shared roadway. We have had issues this summer with our cleaning staff, we have fired them and hired a new company for fall and beyond. My apologies. A new fridge has been ordered.

We purchased this property because of the location right on the water and wanted to improve the home to make it more modern and enjoyable for us and other families. The spacing from neighbors is much better than other properties on the lake, so we liked the spacing of the property.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Design of the home is very unique in that it is a contemporary home which is not found very often on the lake. The cathedral ceiling offers a nice view and it omits a lot of natural light into the home.
