This 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo offers comfort, space, and access to all the Harbor Island resort amenities, including pools, sports courts, and more. You'll also receive a free pass to Hunting Island State Park, one of the most scenic spots in the Lowcountry.

The property was better than imagined. Unit was in a great location, very clean and roomy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with owner was excellent!n we will be back!

I’m based in metro Atlanta, but Harbor Island has completely stolen my heart. It’s the place I go to recharge — to slow down and breathe a little deeper. There’s nothing better than cooking a simple meal of fresh, Lowcountry seafood in the kitchen, cozying up with a blanket and a good book, or just listening to the sound of the waves crashing in the distance. My favorite part of the day? Morning walks to watch the sunrise over the water. It’s quiet, peaceful, and something I never take for granted.

Being able to share this little slice of the South Carolina coast with others is one of the things I love most about hosting. Harbor Island still feels like a hidden gem — a place that hasn’t been overrun by tourists, where the natural beauty is untouched and the pace of life slows to something more meaningful. Whether you're coming for a special occasion or just need a break from the busyness of everyday life, it brings me so much joy to help people discover this place. There’s something about Harbor Island that sticks with you — and I’m so glad I get to share it.

Harbor Island is one of those rare places that feels like a secret — tucked away just enough to keep the crowds out, but close enough to everything you love about the South Carolina Lowcountry. It’s a gated, quiet barrier island where time slows down and the scenery does all the talking. You won’t find big hotels, loud beach bars, or tourist traps here. Instead, you get miles of uncrowded beach, winding trails, tidal creeks perfect for crabbing, and some of the best birdwatching in the region. The island is part of a protected estuary, so it’s common to spot dolphins offshore and herons stalking the marsh grasses.

What makes Harbor Island so special is how naturally beautiful and peaceful it is. You feel like you’ve stepped into a simpler way of life — where the pace is easy, the nights are quiet, and the stars are unbelievably bright. It’s the best of the Lowcountry: salty air, moss-draped oaks, long walks on wide beaches, and that warm southern hospitality — just without the crowds. Whether you’re kayaking through the marsh, taking in a sunrise stroll, or watching your kids chase sandpipers along the shore, Harbor Island offers the kind of reset we all need every now and then. Once you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to go anywhere else.

There’s something really special about waking up at Palmetto Corner. You pour a cup of coffee, step out onto the balcony, and catch the sunrise rising over the ocean while the marsh starts to glow in the early light. It’s quiet here — just the sound of birds and the wind moving through the palmettos.

This corner unit has become our favorite place to slow down. It’s bright, breezy, and filled with natural light all day. From the upstairs windows, you can spot herons and egrets wading through the marsh or watch the tide roll in and out. You’re only a short walk to the beach and the Harbor Island Beach & Racquet Club, where there’s a pool, gym, tennis and even pickleball. You can fill your days with activity, or not — sometimes the best thing to do is nothing at all.

We love that it’s close to Hunting Island State Park (your stay includes a free pass) — with one of the most beautiful beaches in South Carolina, plus nature trails, a lighthouse, and quiet fishing spots. When we’re up for a little adventure, we’ll head into nearby Beaufort to wander the waterfront, grab fresh seafood, or explore historic neighborhoods.

But the best part? Coming back here at the end of the day. Making dinner in the kitchen, sitting out on the deck, watching the sunset fade into stars — it’s peaceful in a way that sticks with you. Palmetto Corner feels like a retreat, a little escape tucked between the ocean and the marsh, where you can truly breathe.
