This cottage was built right on the shores of the Atlantic. At high tide, you are surrounded by the beauty and sounds of the ocean, at low tide, you have a perfect beach right outside of your door to enjoy. Come enjoy the expansive, panoramic ocean views , a perfect summer family retreat !

As you walk into the cottage, you are greeted by a sitting room , with a flat screen TV. As you make your way down the hall, of the main floor, there are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other offers two twin beds, a full bath, fully stocked, newly renovated kitchen, with a dining area for 6. Open floor design, with the living room including a gas fireplace for chilly evenings. Off from the living room, is an outside deck overlooking the incredible views of Pott's Point. Enjoy your coffee in the morning, and cocktails in the evening while relaxing to the sounds of the ocean. Access to a grill for the nights you choose to stay in ~ Upstairs you will find the master suite with a king bed, full bath, and private sitting room . The views from the master suite are simply fabulous. You just cannot sleep any closer to the ocean, unless you are on a boat !!

Step off the outside deck, and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the beach front. The private road in which the cottage is situated on, will lead you on a beautiful, short stroll to the end of the peninsula. Here, you will enjoy the fantastic piece of land which is owned by the Harpswell Land Conservancy. Perfection, right outside your door ~

There is a Town Boat Launch conveniently located, just feet away from the cottage. There are many islands, coves , points and open water to enjoy. Also great for kayaking! If you don ''t have your own, no worries, rentals are available from local outfitters ! You will also enjoy the charm of local lobster boats, seabirds, and other sea creatures that inhabit the area. Hiking in Harpswell's several nature preserves, and trails allows guests to "stretch their legs" while capturing the natural beauty of the sea cliffs, woods and nature. Also a great location for biking and fishing ! Harpswell has so much to offer, including fresh lobsters, farms, art galleries, dining, fine shops, exploring, and of course relaxing ! Travel to another island of Harpswell, and drive over the only existing, working Cribstone Bridge in the US. Visit Land's End Gift Shop, board the Island Romance Ferry which cruises around the coastal islands, and so much more !

Harpswell is conveniently located 20 minutes from Brunswick, take the train from there and travel the Maine coast. Brunswick is also home to Bowdoin College, which offers the Maine State Music Theatre, with superb productions, and museums to enjoy ! Close to Portland, and Freeport, home of LL Bean, many outlet shops, and restaurants. Driving distance to Popham Beach...the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine, along with historical forts to explore. Bath, Phippsburg, Boothbay Harbor, and Bar Harbor all all great day trips! So many sights to see in and around Harpswell !
