Retraite côtière de Stover's Cove Beach

Première fois au marché des vacances! Décorateur d'intérieur propriétaire. Chargé de commodités: beaucoup d'espace pour dormir. La maison principale dispose de 5 chambres confortables et 2 salles de bain complètes; il y a un studio avec entrée privée et il a aussi une deuxième cuisine et salle de bain privée; 2 buanderies; salle de gym entièrement équipée avec tapis roulant, vélo elliptique et vélo couché; vues sur l'Atlantique; un foyer; une très courte promenade à la plus grande et principale plage de Harpswell. Beaucoup de mises à jour / mises à niveau récentes, y compris une rénovation de cuisine à l'été 2017. Les planchers ont été récemment rénovés. C’est dans les détails que nous voulons gagner vos meilleures notes et revenir! Il y a une chambre et une salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée. Dans cet étage principal est un espace de travail.

Nos regrets, en raison des allergies du propriétaire, les animaux ne seront pas autorisés à l'intérieur.

Great House for Families

We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet area. Short walk to a small beach which was great for beach walking and scenery. House has ample parking, plenty of bedroom space and a well stocked kitchen. We had 8 adults and did not feel cramped at all. Short drive (10-15 minutes) to coffee shops, market and restaurants. Would benefit from patio and outdoor furniture to allow guests to more fully enjoy the property and surrounding scenery

Wonderful stay

The house was perfect for our size family. I highly recommend for families. We did have a couple of small issues and the owners didn't waste any time correcting the issues. They are very nice and very easy to work with. Also, if renters don't notifiy the owner or property manager they will have no clue about any issues. I would definitely rent this house again.

We had a great sray in this lovely home. Close to the water. ..fortunately the neighbor told us how to get down there! Plenty to see and do. Well stocked home.

Absolutely love Stover’s Cove community!

Love this property! So peaceful, family friendly with great access to The Point! Neighbors are welcoming and helpful! Although this property is perfect for our needs, it has taken a few rental hits since 2021 when we started last.

Great location to enjoy the beauty of Maine

This property is located in walking distance to a scenic cove with a small rocky beach and has partial water views. The home is in a rural area that is about 25 min away from the towns of Freeport and Brunswick. The area is very scenic and quiet. The home is well decorated. You enter through a mud room area, which connects to the kitchen and an open living room dining room area. There is also a full bath and bedroom with study on the first floor. The basement contains a gym with a walkout exit and another bedroom. The second floor contains three bedrooms and a full bath and then a fourth bedroom with its own full Bath and Kitchen as a separate apartment that connects through a laundry room on the second floor. The property is nicely decorated throughout and each of the bedrooms and living areas has in window air conditioning units available for the occasional hot days in summer. The home is fully equipped and furnished with all dishes and linens that you would need for your stay. Just bring soap and shampoo. The property is located on a gravel road so it's best to arrive during daylight the first time you come to the property just to orient yourself. The owner is gracious and communicates well. We would certainly visit again next time we're in Maine.

Things that should be addressed to make the next renter stay more enjoyable.

Hello Natalee. Want to thank you for the use of your house for our vacation. It was comfortable and clean. I do want to bring to your attention a few issues that need addressed. I understand that some home rentals up-keep is preformed by a hired property maintenance company or rental company crew. (We rental homes all over a couple times a year). I wanted to make sure you knew the few issues at the house. 1-Biggest thing was , it listed two fully functioning laundry rooms. However only one had a washer and dryer in it and the washer doesn’t work. It fills and drains but does not agitate or spin the load. We had to make a couple trips to the Laundromat because we flew in and had minimal cloths. 2- The refrigerators door handle is missing and all the shelves on the inside door were missing also. 3- There was no patio furniture on the deck and out of 9 camping chairs 7 of them are broken and not useable. 4- We would of liked to open up all the windows and doors because it was so nice out but couldn’t because the doors have no screens and the bugs were pretty bad. 5- TV’s all remote batteries needed replaced. Had to pick some up. Not a big deal. 6- All the pots and pans need replaced. They have all been overheated, warped and don’t heat evenly at all. 7- A lot of stains on the furniture and the rags and towels were pretty torn up. Thought you should know. One more thing maybe you can catch it before it gets costly , your septic field is having some serious

Stovers Cove stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are some nice partial views of the water between some of the neighboring homes. However, there were numerous repairs (mostly minor) that needed to be addressed and shouldn’t of been present in a rental for this price. I emailed the list to the owner but didn’t hear back.

Lovely, clean house near the water

This house was exactly as it seemed in the listing - lovely, clean, and updated. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Our Maine Reunion

What a lovely house! Everyone in our family felt at ease, a home away from home. The cove was a short walk away, just enough time to chat and reconnect. It really was the perfect setting for coming together and making memories.

The rainy week in July

The house was fantastic, everything about it from the size to the layout and amenities was excellent. We had 4 generations of family all together in the same place and there was plenty of room for us all. NataLee was very responsive to any questions we had prior to out stay. We really didn't have any questions or issues during the week with respect to the house. The weather however was not ideal, rainy and in the 50's and low 60's for the entire week except for the day before we checked out where the sun did finally appear. But still, we had a great time catching up with our 3 kids and their families. We would definitely stay here again, thanks!

Relaxing with friends

Great space for a group although I don't recall knowing about the walk through bedroom to get to the apartment bedroom, but at least the apartment had an outside entrance if needed. Would definitely consider staying here again! Own was very responsive when we had questions during our stay. Patio furniture would be a plus if possible.

Harpswell is a beautiful bedroom town perfect for relaxing, taking a hike or a long walk on the beac

Renting was easy with no problems. The owner Natalee was always able to answer any questions I had and was very accessible. We all had a wonderful experience in Natalees home exploring the Harpswell and surrounding town areas.

Great view of Stover Cove out main living area

We were surprised at how wonderful the view was. Nine adults, perfect amount of space. Kitchen well stocked but bring your own lobster crackers! Nathalie communicated well, she bought ten outside chairs and two folding tables for outside which we really appreciated. Nice area to explore by car or walking.

Family vacation in Maine

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. So many wonderful outdoor things to do in this area and Natalee was a great host. The home had plenty of space and a lot of necessities. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Destination wedding

We came to Harpswell for a family wedding. So glad we did! This area is absolutely beautiful! Loved the location of the house. Short walk to Stover's Cove beach area. Only 20 minute drive over to Bailey and Orr's Island where we kayaked and hiked. This house was the perfect spot for our family to stay. Lots of room for everyone, beds were comfortable, kitchen and seating area was spacious enough for all of us to gather and hang out. Property has a fire pit, camp chairs and even beach towels. Definitely would recommend!!

Great place!

This house was perfect for us! We had 7 kids under 4 and 6 adults and there was more than enough room! Very quiet location with a big yard that the kids loved. The rooms were very spacious! NataLee was very responsive throughout the entire process and especially once we were in the house! Overall, a great house!

Harpswell stay

Harpswell Me. is truly beautiful, and the house was great, as was the neighborhood. There were a couple of issues, the main one being that their were no chairs on the porch, but we talked to NataLee and I’m sure that will be taken care of. It would definitely be a place to which I would return.

Wonderful family vacation house!

The house was beautiful and worked out for our family group of 12! The home was very clean, and very comfortable. A nice easy walk to the bay. The owners were wonderful; quick responses to any issues. Very close to great restaurants, hiking area and Pammy’s, with the most delicious ice cream. The kitchen was perfect for home cooked meals. We all greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house and area to others!

2019 Graduation stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stover's Cove. The home was clean and filled with amenities that made us feel at home. There were good views from most of the rooms and it was a short walk to the beach. I would recommend the Callahan home to my family and friends.
