Offering a lush lawn, stairs to the ocean, and tidal waterfront, Edgewater will delight kids of all ages.

Inside the cottage, you'll find a well-appointed kitchen, a spacious living (with sofa bed for additional sleeping) and dining area with a fireplace for chilly evenings, all with gorgeous views, opening to the sunny deck and lawn. Upstairs, you'll find the master bedroom with a balcony, the perfect place to watch the sunset over the ocean, a second bedroom with a queen bed, a third bedroom with a twin over full (bunk bed), and a full bathroom with a tile & glass shower.

Located in a small beachfront community, this seaside cottage offers child-friendly waterfront, perfect for families looking to relax by the ocean. You'll also enjoy being just a short walk away from Mitchell Field, a great place to walk, bike, hike, or picnic, as well as being just 20 minutes from all Brunswick has to offer, including a variety of restaurants, shops, and activities.

Amazing views

This was the best stay with my family of 5. The communication was great and the property managers were very accommodating to our needs. The view and peacefulness of the house was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

House was easy set up for family to be together. Nice table outside for eating or visiting. Great deck. Easy access to beach. Bed linens and towels were very nice.

Harpswell stay

Our stay for our daughter's graduation at Bowdoin was wonderful. The home was perfectly located and it was extremely comfortable! Would stay there again a thousand times over.

Phenomenal view

The water view and changing tides are such an outstanding and breathtaking experience. The beach is rocky/sandy and not muddy. The hosts are outstanding. We were very comfortable at this house and hope to return there again.

Amazing view and super low tide beach!

Although the house was nice, the water was a problem. You could not drink it and it smelled of sewage. This was not good.

Missing Harpswell!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week in Harpswell despite less than stellar weather. The cottage is directly on the water and we enjoyed kayaking and simply enjoying the view. We were surprised how well-stocked the kitchen was (being the "foodies" that we are! There was a food processor and even a lemon reamer (who would have thought!!) that made the meals we did make at "home" simple. The only thing we could think of that was missing was a cooling rack! We "made do" though, when we made cookies on one of the cooler days.) We did enjoy biking to an outside meal at Erica's Seafoods nearby. The haddock sandwich was delicious but everyone in our party was disappointed in the clam chowder there. (Higher than average chowder price too.) We also enjoyed exploring Baily's Island and Land's End area. The Cribstone Bridge was a marvel to behold. To think it's the only bridge of its type in the world! If the cottage offered air conditioning (even small window units) we would return in a heartbeat. For anyone who has health issues (i.e. the elderly or anyone with a pulmonary issue) the heat and humidity could be an problem. All the bedrooms are on the second floor so accessibility could be an issue for some too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beautiful sunsets that the location allows are worth the trip from anywhere! Thank you MainStay Vacations for a simple check-in and out process and for the cute customer "swag" tote!

Girls weekend

Everything about this property and location were fantastic. The one downside that was inconvenient was the water situation. It is well water which we had been told but it smelled like sulfur. Badly. From every faucet. We used bottled water for mostly everything (brushing teeth, washing up). Some of us chose not to shower...it was that bad.

Really lovely vacation.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Edgewater Cottage. The house beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean. The views out to the water and sunsets are just amazing. We loved hearing the sound of the water from our bedroom every evening and morning. It was great to explore Bailey Island and Orr's Island as well as Harpswell. We loved Estes Lobster House and we had a really great pancake breakfast at the Grange Hall. The only downside for us was that it is a really long drive to Popham Beach, but otherwise it was perfect.

Tolles Haus, wunderschöner Blick

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem toll gelegenen Ferienhaus direkt am Wasser! Die großen Fensterfronten bieten einen traumhaften Ausblick – vom ersten Kaffee am Morgen bis zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus ist hell, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir vermissen den Blick aufs Wasser jetzt schon!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Beautiful house and property. More space between neighbors than other rentals nearby. Plenty to enjoy during both high tide and low tide. The views from the master bedroom alone makes this house worthwhile. Would definitely stay again!

A nice little get away !

We have been vacationing in Maine for several years . We would usually stay with relatives and spend a lot of time driving to other relatives and friends homes to visit . So you can imagine the little rest we were getting . We arrived to a clean comfortable cottage . The kids fell right into watching their favorite TV programs , after testing the ocean water . The back and side yard was big enough for the kids and I to play catch also . We had our friends and family visit us this year . Giving my family time to relax and enjoy one another . The swimming was nice . We were amazed at how clear the water was , perfect for hunting sand dollars ! I found it nice to sit in the back yard as the sun rose to my right , and watching the fishermen checking traps . I can still hear the distant sound of their diesel engines . Quite a nice experience ! I would do this again , only next time , I would like to have a boat to explore and fish ! We live in rural East Central Mississippi . We have neighbors , but can't quite see their homes from our yard . When we arrived at the cottage , we were a bit skeptical as to our privacy . I will say , people stayed to themselves for the most part , except for a smile and a wave here and there ! I would recommend this cottage for any family who has swimming , boating , and relaxing on their mind .

A Terrific Week

We had a great week enjoying the sunshine and beach. The house was clean and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed time looking for sea glass and shells on the beach as well as kayak paddles. Cottages in the area are quite close together so it's not the place if you are looking for privacy. Although we should have noticed from the pictures, there is no bathtub. Don't miss the Vegetable Corner market's cookies or blueberry muffin!

Very beautiful spot

Cottage and grounds immaculate and well - appointed. Spacious and comfortable. Very close to local grocery and fresh seafood markets. Neighboring cottages just a little close for our liking and we had to get the kids out of the water when a neighbor spilled gas and oil from his boat into our swimming area.
