Chalet côtier récemment rénové sur un terrain ensoleillé avec une grande pelouse latérale privée et un grand parking sur une allée pavée séparée. À seulement quelques pas de la baie de Casco, des plages et du nostalgique Town Landing Market! Ce chalet est à moins de 15 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Portland (une ville côtière historique regorgeant de galeries, de boutiques uniques et de restaurants primés), ainsi que de Freeport (réputé pour son point de vente de classe mondiale et ses boutiques un village côtier). Profitez de ce chalet en bord de mer décoré dans le style de la côte du Maine!

Cette maison est située dans le Falmouth Foreside souhaitable, Maine dans un quartier convivial avec vue sur l'océan. Il existe de nombreuses possibilités de profiter du plein air tout en admirant le magnifique paysage. Vous verrez souvent des gens marcher ou courir le long de Foreside Road (Rt. 88 - une partie de l'itinéraire annuel du marathon du Maine), ainsi que des sentiers boisés au large des parcs publics à proximité. Une promenade relaxante vers un favori local, le Town Landing Market, est à seulement 5 minutes. Si vous aimez la voile, le kayak / stand-up paddle ou la pêche en eau salée, il y a un accès public au bout de la rue, ainsi qu'au public Falmouth Town Landing à 5 minutes. Si vous êtes assis sur une plage à marée basse avec vue sur la baie de Casco et que les voiliers vous plaisent, alors Underwood Cove est un choix parfait à seulement quelques pas. Tous les âges apprécient également l'exploration de cette plage à marée basse ;-)

Relaxing stay by the beach

The cottage was very charming and well-equipped with all kitchen, entertainment, grilling and beach amenities. Located in a quaint and quiet town close to Portland and Maine beaches. Amy was lovely to communicate with and super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cottage for a quiet and relaxing stay by the beach!

A perfect fit for us. We got to spend time with our daughter and her family who live in town, but our stay was also a vacation for us. It was a treat to swim at the local beach, yet be able to meet family for dinner in Portland. The owner thought of all needs for our stay. I highly recommend the cottage.

Beautiful cottage with a short walk to the beach. Wonderfully decorated with coastal decor and pictures of the area at the turn of the century. Perfectly equipped kitchen and all the basics. The bed was heavenly, especially for us with back issues. Large bathroom with a great shower. Cozy porch and garden and wonderful lawn where we played badminton. The owners made us feel like family and were always available when needed. The perfect coastal vacation spot, and can’t wait to return.

This little house was a rare gem that was somehow both close to Portland and yet was so quiet and felt secluded. We were grateful to have off-street parking. This was a great stay for a couple celebrating an anniversary and doing a working weekend. The kitchen had the basics for cooking in so we didn't have to rely on eating out. The bedroom was well divided, so one of us staying up late wouldn’t be disruptive to the other at all, and the wifi signal was strong. Amy was a delightful host who was very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. She gave us some superb recommendations on where to eat. We chose to eat at Rivalries and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

Beautiful home with lots of charm!!!

Friends of mine and their families with children ranging from 4-14 recently came into town for an overdue reunion and some of them stayed at this amazing home! (We actually booked both homes on the property for additional space.) All of my friends and I agreed that this was an incredibly beautiful home with so much beachside charm. The downstairs was open and spacious and allowed for fun group gatherings. Everything was immaculate and so cared for. The house is full of supplies in the kitchen, bedrooms, and for the beach! The owner is clearly dedicated to making this house a unique and special away-from-home-stay! Without question, this is a perfect rental!! We would ALL highly recommend this home!!

You and your guests are welcome to return anytime ;-) To add clarity for future guests reading this review, Christie rented the 4 bedroom/2 bath, two-story house and this one bedroom/one bath cottage (both located on the same property). Both structures are completely separate rentals with two driveways and private lawns.

Charming cottage is a perfect base for lots of Maine activities

The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you might need. The owners truly have thought of everything, and the kitchen is well-equipped. My son and I enjoyed hanging out in the nearby cove - looking for creatures and sea glass. And the location is perfect for day trips to nearby islands, lakes, and of course Portland. The owner was friendly, easy to contact, and gave helpful suggestions. Would absolutely rent again!

Comfortable stay, helpful and accommodating owner

We really enjoyed our stay. The ‘cottage’ is a comfortable, attractively decorated, and spacious one bedroom property in a quiet residential area near Portland. There’s a nice deck/patio area, with a partial water view, that is perfect for outdoor dining. The owner is very helpful and responsive to guest inquiries. The property is well-maintained. We would stay here again.

Hello Tom, Thank you both again for staying at the cottage and being so respectful of the space. We really appreciated it and hope that you return in the future! I apologize for my text the morning of check-out coming across in that manner. It was certainly not my intent to push you to leave earlier than the 11 am check-out since our next guest was checking-in at 4 pm (sufficient time for the housecleaner to prepare the cottage before the next guest that day). After receiving the reply back to my text that morning that you would not be leaving earlier than 11 am check-out time, I offered an extended check-out time of 11:30 am (if you didn't mind me grabbing the laundry at 11 am). Unfortunately, due to our next guest checking in that same day and managing the housecleaner's busy schedule, offering a 1/2 hour extended check-out time was the best that I could do. We have many guests that leave earlier than the 11 am check-out, so I was only requesting a message if you were leaving earlier to alert our housecleaner. I apologize again if this came across pushy and I'll be more mindful of my wording choice in the future. It was honestly not my intent to push you both to leave early. I was actually smiling when I read the text reply back that morning that you would not be leaving earlier than 11 am since you were enjoying the relaxed pace! The cottage and location surely support that kind of experience and energy :-) Thank you again for the opportunity to host your stay! It was really appreciated. Regards, Amy

Meticulous host and cottage

Great place to jump off and explore sandy state park beaches within 20-30 minutes of the cottage. The cove at the end of the road is perfect for launching kayaks on Casco Bay. The property has a good sized yard sheltered from neighbors. Amy is an attentive and professional host. A delightful week was had by all!

Excellent location and thoughtful details!

We loved the relaxing town of Falmouth and the superb location of this cottage. The space was just right for our small family and the owners thought of everything. We especially loved having everything (local beach, rustic country store) within easy walking distance. If you're looking for a cute and convenient place to stay in a quiet seaside Maine town, you can't beat this place or this price. We will be back!

Charming is an understatement! I'd go as far as to say LUXURIOUS!

To start with, the hostess is very friendly, communicative, accommodating and leaves no questions unanswered . We had a last minute change of plans and she came through like a champ! As far as the property goes, there is no stone left unturned and no amenity unthought of, we truly felt right at home. The yard is surprisingly large and exquisitely manicured as is the interior of the cottage and the neighborhood in general, pride in ownership is felt all around! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is what it's all about folks and this property has it all! We spent our mornings just lazing about in the yard and wandering down to the water, our afternoons were spent exploring state parks/lighthouses or shopping at the outlet stores topped off with lovely evenings enjoying Portlands offerings, all within convenient driving distance. I could live there, no question! Thank you, Amy, for creating and sharing an ideal haven, we will be back!

Pretty and charming in Casco Bay!
