Was a great property for our group of 15 guys who were out for a Sox v Pirates game. The house has lots of beds n bedrooms. Old, historic working class neighborhood that was very safe and close to downtown, Oakmont etc.
The house is very spacious. It fit our group of moms and dancers well as a home base for a dance competition. We enjoyed the living room and dining room areas and walked a few black for pizza our first night. Street parking was easy to find, even with our larger vehicles. That said, it could use a deep clean in the kitchen and walls. With a little TLC, it would be a much nicer property.
Our stay was great! The house is very spacious and is bigger in person than in pictures. Parking wasnât difficult for the group which was great especially in the Pittsburgh area.
Our group of 11 stayed here for the weekend. Highlight was going to PPG Paints arena for NHL game. So nice having so many bedrooms (7) and 3 full bathrooms. Comfortable and spacious living room, dining area and kitchen. The property was super clean and beds were comfy.
Mohamed and Yousef were excellent hosts - they were quick to respond and accommodating. The house is in great condition and provides ample space for kids to play around while adults chatted and enjoyed various entertaining activities. The location is fantastic! It is close to Phipps Conservatory, downtown Pittsburgh, Shadyside, and Lawrenceville, in a decent neighbourhood.Thank you for hosting us during this holiday week. We look forward to returning and experiencing more of Pittsburgh soon!
We had a great stay here and all agreed we would stay here again if we came back as a group.
There was plenty of space for our group of 10 and the house was clean and had what was needed.
The property was a little older but clean and felt lived in so we were not uncomfortable.
Upon arrival at the property we quickly realized the description was not accurate. The property was dirty (beer cans and trash left out, trash on steps going in back entrance, grass overgrown, air conditioner dumping water on electrical wires outside, major leak in downstairs bathroom, dirt on the walls, old contact lenses on floors, mold in bathroom, beds were on the floor-not on bed frames). Puddles of water were everywhere in the basement so we blocked it off which meant we couldnât use the washer and dryer. We contacted the owner and he changed the online description but offered to do nothing else. The original description mentioned two beds in each room which is why we booked since our group had families with small children needing to stay in the same room and on the same floor. The pictures posted were extremely deceiving. Our group would have left and stayed somewhere else, but we would be out the money and couldnât find another place that quickly.Communication with the owner was unprofessional and rude as well. We were extremely disappointed and honestly disgusted with the property, so much so that we didnât even want to cook there. Descriptions also mentioned ample parkingâŠit was a busy residential area with only on street parking on a one way street.Highly recommend looking elsewhere before staying here!
We were happy with our stay in Greenfield. The neighborhood was quiet but close to downtown venues. The space was perfect for a large group. The owner was available and easy to work with. The house is old and probably needs some minor maintenance/cleaning touchups, but the important areas (kitchen/bedrooms) were very clean, comfortable, and affordable. All members of our group were happy with the rental. Just a heads up for folks with mobility issues: As is typical of large homes in Pittsburgh neighborhoods, the bedrooms are on the second and third floors.
